I watched an ABC Made for TV Movie called "For One More Day" based on MItch Albom's book of the same name. Michael Imperoli (The Sopranos) plays a former baseball player who was on the verge of killing himself. Until he sees his mother. Who died nine years ago. It was kinda like "A Christmas Carol" meets "Pride of the Yankees". His mother leads him through a journey of his life that was and what he needed to do to repair his estranged relationship with his own daughter. For anyone who ever wished that they could have "just one more day" with a parent, this will make you cry. Because it made me cry.

? Engrish in it Is Saw Spidey three the other day. It wasn't bad. Friggin long but not bad. Hope they stop there. Not as good as the first two for sure. That said, I would totally have stayed as black Spidey and banged both the blonde and the brunette from work. |

Since I can't sleep and Atlantis has finished I'm now watching "The Holiday" It stars Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law & Jack Black. The two young girls that play Jude Law's daughters are just the cutest and their little London accents are just adorable! It has such a sweet story line to it. I can kinda relate to Kate Winslet's character - this makes me one sad person. ![]() If you haven't seen and like sweet, cute movies then I can recommend it.

Two: Mr Bean's Holiday: Overall it's a hoot. But there were times when I gagged because the humor was either awful or so cliched. Still a good safe move for the entire family. My five year old boy almost went blue he laughed so hard. Bourne Ultimatum: Jason Bourne pisses all over 007 then bangs all his women, satisfying everyone in less than 5 mins all together. Really, I can't imagine how an I Spy action franchise could get any better than the Bourne movies. 007 is a stand still next to all these. This movie was really good. Had some good twist, well written and inteligent. Pay close attention because you can miss stuff easily. At least at the beginning. Julia Stiles makes another fantastic appearance. That's it for my to crappy reviews. |

Yes! I knew you'd like that one. It's hard to make a cohesive trilogy, without losing something somewhere, but they did a good job holding the story together, even though it is a major departure from the previous incarnations, like the books, so I've been told I'd like to see more, but I think they should probably be done with it, before the story starts getting any thinner. They've pretty much told all there is to tell, anything else, would be overkill.... literally

I'd have to agree with you there. Unless they completely changed the story, I think they should lay to rest the, "who am I" routine. Still, I wished theyd have a go with Parson's and Bourne. |

Well, it seemed like they were hinting at their having been some kind of past relationship The only possible story I could see them piecing together, is one where she is now the target, & he has to come out of hiding again That would pretty much bring everything full circle, I guess & exhaust just about any possibilities left to whore

I watched "Goodfellas" again yesterday. It's been about ten years since I last saw it. I had forgotten how many of the actors in it went on to The Sopranos.

You do the math Bond gets fancy cars. Bourne gets a car or two during each movie, & they rarely last more than 10 minutes Bond gets pretty women. Bourne got one woman, chopped all her hair off, & got her killed Bond survives on intelligence. Bourne survives on instinct Bond works for "The Man". Bourne is taking it to "The Man" Bond has had the same people working with him for decades. Bourne has managed to kill just about everyone who ever worked with him Has Bond ever taken a bullit? Really, I'm asking? |

Neither do I. granted, I'm not a big Bond fan, so I'm no expert on it, but that just don't seem like the kind of stuff that happens to him |

He got his balls beat pretty good in Casino Royal. But then again, they really changed the formula of the movie, well not totally but it was more violent, at least Bond was, like Bourne. |

See, that's what's great about Bourne. He don't need no fancy high tech crap. He uses everyday items, that he improvises, like kicking Desh's ass with a hard cover book To this guy, a rolled up magazine is a suitable weapon against armed assailants |
