Not really a "movie" but I saw trekkies...

I didnt like it so much.. almost everyone they showed was beyond nerdy. Almost unreal... no wonder people make mad fun of us.
All my posts are done from my tablet. I apologize for all strange errors in my posts... as swype hates me. :violet:

Apollo 13 - Always amazing

With the final mission of the Discovery and the impending end of our space program - I needed a little NASA human greatness and hope in what was once some of our bravest and brightest times as a species.

The Adjustment Bureau. I liked it. It was a good movie that I thought had come elements of the Matrix such as the doors that case wrokers use and the hats that the caseworkers use. The way they get around reminds of you like the agents in the matrix, but none of the special effects of the Matrix. Fate may be against you, but chance could work for you if it was meant to be.

The King's Speech:

It was pretty good. Started out quite boring, but it got more interesting. It was also surprisingly funny...there were more laughs than you'd expect in a historical movie.

I Am Number Four:

Really good, I enjoyed it a lot. Some parts were a little predictable, but there were a few twists too. And for once the cliched love story was actually done reasonably well.

the Kids Are Alright

I liked it...a lot. I don't know about being an academy award nominated movie. It was very good though....quirky enough for me.

So, what happens to 'good guy' sperm donor dad?He is really a good guy. Who here thinks that relationships get picked up with him again??? You know...the kids, at least.
And....the kids!

Monsters

Quote:

Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life form began to appear and half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"...... Our story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border. Written by Annon

I thought this movie was fantastic. Not a "b" monster movie at all. The story is rich and fully fleshed, without even the monsters.

3.5/4

Two words: David Keith....

RUN! This movie is horrid.

The Adjustment Bureau

Very interesting concept. I liked it a lot, though the ending was a bit stupid.

I'm probably going to be paranoid around people with hats for a while now!

Got my own copy of that one. It's without a doubt Ron Howard's finest cinematic achievement, & my favorite space program movie

Watched "Unstoppable" Meh it was ok. Had the action & running & jumping & stuff. It just smacked a bit too much of the cookie cutter disaster movie, with it's characters & story line

How Do You Know

Romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Jack Nicholson. Pretty standard stuff, but not all that bad
