Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

I still think they made the Transformers too complicated its hard to tell whats going on. Also the effects and music are loud.. while the main characters spend most of the time whispering.

the other thing that bothered me was.. they were inside the air and space museum in Washington DC... walked out the hanger door to a big field full of planes.. with damn mountains in the back... Californian mountains.
then they were suddenly in Egypt.. but I think that was a plot point I missed when I refilled my glass.

I still love the movies.. cause that was a cartoon I grew up on.

One of my personal favorites. It's one of those movies that's so good it almost makes it hard to dislike Tom Cruise.

Almost :p

Dinner For Schmucks

better than I was expecting.

True Grit

very close to the John Wayne version. Would have been better if you could understand a word Jeff Bridges said. It sounded like he had a mouth full of marbles. Matt Damon was underwhelming. The girl was brilliant though.

Rambo:

Thought it was pretty good. Wasn't expecting much. Realistic .50 cal action. Had a good message about Burma. The movie felt a little truncated though. They the latest Indiana Jones did. Less like a full length movie more like a filler between.

But it ended well and was enjoyable overall.

Yeah Rambo was ok. Nothing great, but pretty good, considering the quality of some of it's predecessors.

Twilight: Eclipse

2nd time seeing it.. liked it much better than the first time.
Some bad acting by minor characters... Rob Pattinson is at his most hottest in this movie (still think he looks strange in real life)
Kept to the book fairly well

I liked it, though i would have let the stoopid stubborn american religion freaks die myself, woulda served them right tbh. They weren't very likeable characters. Good message about Burma. And yup, Rambo II and III were appalling tripe of films.... if ya actually watch the special features on Rambo, Stallone pretty much admits to that himself. But the original, First Blood, is still an excellent film.

I liked Rambo, it borught the story full circle and brought John Rambo home finally.

And as for First Blood, I think of it every time I drive through Hope, BC. the fact that movie was filmed there is the towns only claim to fame. They even have a museum wing dedicated to Rambo!

The Green Hornet

Much better than I thought it would be. Possibly because my expectations were so low. Kato was awsome. And there was this huge orgy of breaking glass at the end that was a hoot to watch.

romancing the stone

an action/adventure/romance/comedy, one of those fun movies when you want something not too heavy to watch. much better than the sequel jewel of the nile, which was all about relationship issues & devito's character looking for revenge on douglas' because of events in the first movie. oh, yeah. and there was an odd-ball holy man too.

there's was going to be more movies, but the woman who wrote the movies died. but if they kept going down hill after the second one, it's probably a good thing there weren't more.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno

I thought it was funny in some places. It made me laugh then it mushy in the middle towards the end.

There can be only one

I had gotten "The Fourth Kind" some time ago but never got around to watching it until last night. Interesting prospect of blending in actual footage with live action recreation as they both play out - it just added to the overall real creepiness factor of the film.

If you like docu-drama-mentories, then go ahead and grab this one
The unambiguous and defined essence of a truest friend, is a single soul, shared in two bodies. A person who completes you so, that it pains you when they hurt, and sustains you when they are with you, no matter how far.

The first time we saw that was in the UK. And right after we went to McDonalds just to check if that's what they called them, we both had quarter pound cheeseburgers and fries! A while later spock was on a business trip into mainland Europe, and again called into a Mac's but again was disappointed. There are Royale with cheese burgers out there, I'm sure. Just nobody seems to know where. :/
