I assume the Canadian means Uhura from TOS. Uhura had voice clips that Bumblebee used when he was talking. |

Seen Material Girls, was good. That starred Haley and Hillary Duff, they were funny too, especially Brent Spiner made me laugh some. In the end they found his character somewhat like an embezzeler, taking advantage of the company. I also borrow a friend's dvd, Wild Hogs, I laughed it was funny, not bad. |

watched spiderman 3 last night. Have to say it was a disapointment. Way too much romance not enough action. Spiderman is a super hero. We don't want them for the romance. We want them for the action. Total waste of 3 villains.

Watched "The Devil Wears Prada" last night, I thougt it was really good and some great one liners in it. The story line was good and the clothes were really purdy! Favourite line: "I'm on this new diet. Well, I don't eat anything and when I feel like I'm about to faint I eat a cube of cheese." |

Watched Mr. Brooks tonight. Have to say I had no idea where it was going which is always nice. And the idea that a serial killer is going to AA meetings to try and control his urge to kill is pretty amusing as well. He has William Hurt following him around as his conscience, or urge to kill or something. That started off being really irritating but turned out kind of an interesting way to show what was going on inside his head. Could have been used more effectively though. There was a whole cop/demi moore sub plot that felt totally tacked on though. |

Just rented Live Free or Die Hard eh... It just didn't seem like the Die Hard I like. McClane is supposed to be a bit funnier. That's his charm Plus realizing that the girl in the movie playing his daughter is actually 3 years younger than the girl who played her in the first movie made me feel old

"Next" with Nicholas Cage, Julianne Moore and Jessica Biel. I liked it. Im actually starting to enjoy Cage movies. It was pretty smart and threw some good curve balls. Overall very entertaining. Although, I would have made the government bitch Biel and the HPOA Moore. |

I recently purchased "The Stick Up" on the Amazon at a reduced price of $3.29. This is one of the James Spader movie along with his real life current girlfriend, Leslie Stefanson. He played a cop, got shot by a sherriff who was involved in a robbery. John Parker (James Spader) discovered two sheriffs were behind the robbery that robbed a small town bank, later discovered his former co workers were also involved. They put all the blame on Parker as he hides out to investigate throughly. The girl is the sheriff's ex wife who took care of Parker after he was shot. Meanwhile the young FBI was new on the case trying to solved the robbery and found that Parker was innocent. It was an overall good movie with James Spader as a good cop. and a good looking one too! :swoon: (James was thinner in those days).I love his one line where he and the girl was at a beach in the hammock in the end of the movie.... Parker: "I thought about climbing that tree to get you a coconut"

Yeah, agreed. The thing that tends to make the earlier Die Hard movies a bit more bearable, is that McClane is the comic wise cracker. They had the Galaxy Quest kid, from the Mac commercials do that this time, & it just didn't work |

Oh yeah, go rent "Reign Over Me" with Adam Sandler, & Don Cheadle, if you haven't seen it. Really. It is exceptionally moving, & well acted. I was surprised |
