Lord of The Rings: Return of the King

Awesome, of course. Ending made me cry, as usual.

Haven't seen the first two in a long time though, so I'll have to get around to that these holidays.

Killers

Ashton Kutcher & Kathrine Heigl

A cute date night movie, but not anything to rave about. It was good mindless fun, with some twists and turns.

Now, they showed this movie as a preview while there, and even if it sucks, as most Barrymore films do, parts of it look funny.

Dear David Bowie:

surprisingly good coming of age film that avoids the usual teenage cliche's and stereotypes. Worth watching

Werewolf

boring, predictable, but visually stunning movie. Well except for the monster. He looked just like that Michael J. Fox werewolf movie. American werewolf in london did a better job how many years ago now?

Last night we saw Shrek 4 3D.

The movie takes a theme from 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Shrek gets to find out what the world would have been like if he had not existed. It is a hard lesson and he wants his life back realizing how fantastic he has it.

I am sure this movie has been reviewed here already. I am late to the party.

Number four was as good as the first three...Loved it! :js:

I've never seen that.

:o Seriously ??

You mean you don't know the "it's twue it's twue it's twue !!" scene ??

Or the bean scene, the best/funniest scene in movie history ??

OMG! I spent years going into my best Madeline Kahn bit singing 'I'm Tired'.......back when I was a flirty, flirt, flirt!

OMG! Does that bring back memories.
The ways one entertains themselves and others to get through a work day. That was way back when I first came to this plant...25 years ago.... _lmao_

I'm tired,
tired of playing the game
Ain't it a friggen shame
I'm tired

I've been wif thousands of men,
again & again,
they coming and going,
and going and coming,
lets face it,
I'm kaput.

And....the kids!

Werewolf or Wolfman with Benicio Del Torro.

If it's the first, why haven't you told me about this.

If it's the latter then you're nuts.

Maybe if we saw the whole movie though it would feel better.

I think this is a sort of remake of the very old Lon Cheney "Wolfman"

In any event, Benecio Del Torro, Anothny Hopkins and Hugo Weaving do a bang up job. I've never seen Benecio in a flick until this one. I'm sold on him as one helluva actor.

It's nice to see "evil" werewolves again, out of control. It's the best werewolf movie since Dog Soldiers.

MJF's Teenwolf is a classic. I shall not address your blasphemy right yet.

I see how it can be a guy thing. I guess if the wolf went off to Dubai with it's best friends to live one last adventure before menopause firmly sets in, it might have more appeal to the female mind.

 for Mr. Boo!

edit: All movies have been predictable since 1939.

Ahhhh...I don't know about this re-make. I was talking about the CGI wolf in the other movie they are advertising now.

I haven't seen Benecio Del Torro give a poor performance yet. Interesting. You say 'evil'. Does that mean he does not suffer the guilt & torment by day that Lon Chaney suffered? I love those old Lon Chaney movies.....Especially, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstien. Everyones in that one...

Well...

I'll just say that the wolf kills for the frell of it. Unlike a lot of movies lately where the wolf is controlled by the man if not outright a hero. I love werewolves. My favorite monster and horror movie subject.

And what other movie did you hear about?

And Wissa, I hope you realize I was just razzing you.

I can't believe you were satisfied with that werewolf. I expected something a little different then they could do 60 years ago.

Not sure I understand. You mean you wanted it to look more like a dog than a man?

I like the dog look better, but the this one worked for me. And if they're trying to do a remake, I can see why they kept the overall look albeit with better tech.

You must know what I am talking about. They are advertising it in theaters now. I don't know if the film is released yet. It is a huge CGI wolf. I will try and find it.

Ohh, so wonder. The Wolf I was talking about is from The Twilight Series..'New Moon'. It's a huge CGI Wolf...unrealistically HUGE!
