Bride and Prejudice Bollywood version of Pride and Prejudice set in modern day India. It's really fun with all the dancing, songs and beautiful costumes. |

Star Trek II- The Wrath of Khan I just finished watching the Director's Cut (again) and I like it a lot better than the original theatrical release. There's a lot of scenes in it that weren't in the version shown in the theaters. It's well worth a look. |

I just finished watching the 1995 version of Freaky Friday. I didn't know there was a movie between the other 2. Now I've seen all 3! This one was the least funny. Even though it had Drew Carey in it. |

Appaloosa. Good little western, didn't move a lot, but enjoyable with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen. A couple of good lines thrown in. My favorite was right after a 6 person shootout that lasted 5 seconds leaving everyone shot and on the ground. I was not overly impressed with Zellweger's character. |

I just finished watching Crash. It was an interesting movie and it was kinda cool to see how they weaved all the different characters' stories together. Apparently the Persian store owner's wife was played by Marina Sirtis. I did not recognize her at all. |

Max Payne Kinda like the video game, but it strays and yet stays good. If you know the game, you'll like the movie. |

OMG really? You liked it? I love the original Max Payne game and I thought the movie was just awful. Definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I mean it was almost unwatchable for me to the point where I had to struggle to finish it. They strayed way too far from the game IMO. |

From what I've been hearing, the sequel will be more true to the game. |

Have you checked out Starship Troopers II? Just saw Blindness. A bit too much focus on the artsy aspect. They never explained anything, but the devolution of culture was an interesting watch. Not really for the faint of heart as their was a rape scene though not very graphic. |

rented Alice in Wonderland for the kids on the weekend. I thought they wouldn't watch it but they were quite interested. Way more interested then they were in Igor the week before. Body of Lies. Started nowhere, meandered around, ended no where. Really didn't buy the love interest. As my stepson said "there's 2 hours of my life I'm never getting back." |

Movie critics hate everything these days so I usually don't give their opinions much credence. But I read one early review of Watchmen and it said the movie wasn't that good and doesn't deliver on the hype. |

It's not really my thing, I think. I probably won't go. Pretty sure I'm the only girl that was invited.
