Ok so I watched The Happening again (sober this time). Although I’d heard some pretty rotten reviews I considered myself biased because I’m totally in love with everything M. Night Shyamalan does. The Happening included. I thought it was great and the casting was impecable. Zooey Deschanel gives a brilliant yet subtle performance as Alma and Mark Wahlberg somehow injects humor when you need it most. The Happening cant possible measure up to Signs in regard to plot but it makes up for that in it’s special effects wich leave you with the type of shocking and halting images you cant help but revisit in your mind over and over again. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. |

Oh that's good to know! I love his movies, even the ones the reviewers hate, and now that it's on demand, I've been waiting for a good time to rent this. Thanks Sara! |

Cuz that was one of the rumors when they did test screenings on it. They didn't show the last 20 minutes of the movie so people were speculating that something happens to Big. |

I just finished watching Black Sheep for the millionth time. Not quite as good as Tommy Boy but still very funny. Chris Farley and David Spade were such a great team together. I miss Chris Farley.

Saw the Love Guru last night and it was surprisingly funny. Mind you, it probably helped that I went in expecting nothing at all. Not exactly highbrow humour but funny. |

I just watched The Ring. The first time I saw it I thought it was scary as hell but this time not so much. |
