I watched Con Air with Nicholas Cage, John Cusack, and John Malkovich. Hadn't seen it in a long time. Forgot how funny it was especially the rare Colm Meaney sighting

Seen that before, the most movie I like with Nicholas Cage in it. A lot of action.

Braveheart. Watched it last night.

Boy that was a LOOOOOONG film.

Mel Gibson was pretty god in it as William Wallace, thou there are some historical inaccuracy's (The French kings daughter didn't arrive in England until after Wallace's death for example) But it helped meat out the film a bit more. And some good old fashioned nudity and graphic gore is good for the soul.

The torture/execution scene was probably one of the best climatic endings to a film thou there are plenty of fantastic scenes especially the battle scenes.

A good film and always enjoyed it fully. Thou if you are squeamish I wouldn't recommend it.

I enjoyed seeing history getting into movies. Braveheart, even though it was long, was fascinating and sad in the end.

Last night I watched The Invasion with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig.

It's about an alien epidemic. It actually wasn't bad.

Borrowed a DVD movie again..... Stargate: The Ark of Truth...yep a new one that came out. Fascinating and in awe to the special effects of the Stargate. Looks like from the original movie...I mean the stargate in space being turned on and the ship going through it with their molecules zooming into dustlike. I did not like the space spiders! Grrrr controlling the ship! In the end, I was happy that Sam Carter finally put a stop on it. Whew!

Watched another DVD movie.... The Scorpian King 2. It was okay. The actor playing young Mathayus was pretty good with the sword and combat skills.

I prefer the Rock(Dwayne Johnson) from the first Scorpian King movie to play Mathayus. This was about how young Mathayus started out in his life journeying on a quest to the underworld for the sword that had powers to kill the powerful villain.

I watched The Tommyknockers the other night. It was awful and to think that movie actually used to scare me.

Randomer than you since 1992

Just saw Mamma Mia again. Love it more each time. I don't even know why! It's just a really nice feel-good movie. And I'm a sucker for musicals.

And, of course the acting is great too. There's nothing worse than an otherwise good movie spoiled by horrible acting, but this one didn't have that problem.

I watched Finding Rin Tin Tin today. It's about Rin Tin Tin's military career before he became a movie star.

It's touching and heartfelt. I liked it.

*sigh* Today was an incredibly lazy day of watching movies on TV. I watched parts of V for Vendetta, Invicible, and The Bourne Supremacy. They're all pretty good movies I think.

I liked Speed Racer. :(

The old anime was a hundred times better though.

When Harry Met Sally. _lmao_ :liz: _lmao_ :liz: _lmao_ :liz:

The Dark Knight was amazing.

Mamma Mia was a really bad movie, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Hotel Rwanda is horribly sad and I was sobbing through parts, but it was a great movie.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona was amazing and funny, and Penelope Cruz was hilarious! Loved it, Woody Allen is fabulous.

I just watched Speed Racer too. Way too long so we split it up. I didn't care for it at first, but I liked the second half once I recognized more the anime remembrance of it. Maybe it was just my son's enthusiasm for the races. The triviality of other racers presumably dying was horrid.

Also watched The Secret with Duchovny. The movie was a soul swapping movie where the dead mom gets stuck in the daughters body. A bit too extreme on the teen daughter's high school life, but the acting was good and it did a good job of making you think about the other person's shoes.
