Loved it!

I have to admit that I have not ever read the actual poem but the movie was fantastic.

I've read the poem but haven't seen the movie. From what I heard the movie makes way too many changes so I'd have a hard time enjoying it in that case.

Did you really think the poem was so good that nothing could be done to make it even better?

No of course not. I just don't happen to like the changes they made.

But that opinion might change when you see the changes in its entirety.

The Golden Compass:
The movie itself was kid heroine type of stuff. Daniel Craig was barely in it. I thought they were making his story the main storyline, which left me completely hanging at the end when they closed what felt like a secondary story.

Jack or Kosh mentioned an anti-Christian theme to this movie, but I don't think I would have noticed without being forewarned. The book may have been written with the intent of making an analogy to a religious government, but it was far from accurate as a warning.

Me in 10 years^^^

I watched HITMAN the other day.

I loved it. It's different than the game, but in a good way.

I finally saw "I am Legend"

Im still trying to figure this one out. There is no doubt Will Smith did some extraordinary acting. The story was good as was the imagry. I thought maybe it needed a little more story about the infected human leader there. Ok any story would have been good. The ending maybe a little better resolution.

It was good but very depressing and had some looooooong butt-hole clenching moments.

I'll probably never watch it again.

Accurate review. I think there was some kind of alternate ending where he takes the captured mutant back to the male & goes on with the kid & woman or something, but I'm not sure.

The whole thing seemed to drag a bit for me, & though Smith is competent, he's not exactly the type of actor who can carry a film alone (most of it anyway)

To do that, you need to be someone who can single handedly captivate an audience. Will Smith is many things, but overwhelmingly captivating I think not :idon'tknow: just my opinion though

I didn't find it dragged. But agree some more story about the leader of the infected dudes would have been good. Maybe less hunting and driving around upset about the dog. I'm guessing they filmed more and it was cut due to running time.

still want to know how she drove on and off the island. :wissa:

It's Christmas!

The day before I borrow a DVD movie, The Seeker. It was a good movie, a mystery to find 7 signs to stop the dark evil from rising. I recognize one actor right away who was formerly Doctor Who(the ninth doctor), Christopher Eccleston.

I saw the alternate ending on Youtube. Much much better. I can't see why they didn't go with that originally.

Just watched part of "Enchanted". Good movie for the kids. Perdictable. I slept through most of it.

But it has this woman....

I just saw this last week. It was a decent movie. Kind of corny and rushed but not a bad sit with the children.

Nerdy Dr. Eccleston was the best part of the movie.
