Agreed. I didn't think it was as good as The Dark Knight (although I'm biased because of my love of the Joker and Heath Ledger's portrayal of said character) but I really enjoyed it and felt it was a good wrap-up to the series, especially the end, which I will not give away for those that may not have watched it yet.
Ah, Kirk, my old friend. Do you know the Klingon proverb which tells us revenge is a dish that is best served cold? It's very cold.......in spaaaace.

My wife and I went and saw The Hobbit Saturday night, and if you are a fan of The Lord Of The Rings, prepare to be wowed by this one! Great visuals, acting, the way they've stretched the story out so they could make 3 movies out of it actually seems to be working well, just all around 15/10 on my Rating's Scale Of Movie Awesomenicity!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3
Just as good as the first two. Though Greg is well into puberty and his face is almost unrecognizable. :rachel:

Cabin in the woods
A little hard to follow, but that may have had more to do with the 5 10 year olds I was watching it with. Kind of an interesting twist on what you expect to be a typical horror movie. I think the attacking scary stuff could have been scarier though

Skyfall
I didn't think it was as good as people had told me it was going to be. And the second half felt very un-bondish

Still a great movie. I can't think of any Will Smith movie I didn't like. Though I didn't watch some of his serious ones.

Event Horizen
It's a cool idea, but I don't think they took the scary bits far enough. It ended up being unsatisfying.

We're too desensitized. Event Horizon was plenty scary back when it came out.

I saw Prometheus last night....

I liked it. Although I picked it apart alot.

a team wakes up after two years of hyper sleep or whatever.. none of them know how to work together.. no training. no one knows the real agenda..
they do really stupid stuff.... and you dont feel sorry for most of them when they die cause they did completely dumb stuff.
All my posts are done from my tablet. I apologize for all strange errors in my posts... as swype hates me. :violet:

watched the original total recall and shaun of the dead last night

enjoyed both of them though total recall does look dated.

had to force the kids to watch shaun of the dead (sit here and watch zombies dammit!) but they enjoyed it once it got going. They do love simon pegg

Mr. j and I, too, LOVED the Hobbitses.
Once Ixalla was ready, Tathrelle cornered her. “Before we leave for work, I just want to tell you, I’m sorry. I guess I sort of shut down last night. I know you were in pain and I wasn’t too terribly supportive.” There was a wall covering in the main part of their chamber, something that Tathrelle hadn’t noticed before. She stared at it for a second and then shook her head.

Outside, a disembodied voice announced from a hidden speaker, “It is time to travel to all daytime places of employment. Transportation sleighs are available and ready. Citizens are encouraged to thank the sleigh drivers at the end of a successful transport. The government recommends haste, and requests that all pregnant persons be given preference for seating in their designated areas.”

A little distracted, Ixalla just asked, “Pain?”

Untrustworthy - by me, actually. It's for sale on Amazon
