Early evening my cousin from America (Dads side) phoned to ask my Dad if it was OK to name the new upcoming baby after him. They then got into a debate about geography in the kitchen. After the conversation Dad came back and sat down on the sofa next to mum. 10 mins later the phone rings and we cant find the downstairs handset, the one Dad was using. These phones are the cordless ones. Naturally we thoguht it was in the ktichen, but wasnt. So i ring it from my mobile, but we cant here it ring. Now i know Lus dosnt like these sort of things, BUT we have had some things just dissaperre when they are kept in a place where they wont go missing and these things are not easy to lose. And we have had some very VERY ghoustly stuff happening in this house and it has begun to freak my mum out at this point. Well for 20 mins we are still looking for it, and my dad goes upstairs to see if he can find it again. Im downstairs talking to mum as she is now very frustrated, blaiming Dad for everything. Dad rings on his Mobile, now im holding onto the internet phone and i can hear this faint ringing i thought it was the internet phone, but it wasnt. It sounds like the sofa is ringing and WHERE did i find it? Under the bloody seat cushions wedge in the base. I fall on the floor laughing, my mum is embarassed and Dad is confsued. I then start laughing at my Dad. Dad: Dont laugh, you know how upset your mum is about this. Mum: Listen mate, your the one that was using it. Dad: Mumble Mumble Mumble. Mum: See im not the one going crazy is it? Dad wanders off. Meanwhile im still lauging on the floor.
