PS... I had an opportunity to talk with a woman who was signing to her deaf husband while we waited for our appointments... (my mother was having her cast looked at). Anyways, I brought up your point that some words or signs are different in Canada and the USA. She said the most common one is the sign for "what/where" essentially the two countries have them reversed so understanding one another in a what/where context can be a bit of a challenge.

My new coffee maker came today :happy1:

Posted Image

My coffee maker died on tuesday after only 6 months of use. :( I really didn't want to go buy another cheap one again but didn't want to shell out big bucks on a new one this time of year either. For the last few years I have been in this cycle where I break the coffee pot and go to get a new one but then realized I can buy a new coffee maker for less than a new pot. So I end up just buying another cheap coffee maker. But, I remembered my points card from the grocery store. So I ran down and grapped their shoppers reward catalogue and figured out how many points I had and bought this new one.

And it makes hot coffee!!! I find most coffee makers make luke warm coffee at best.

Now hopefully I will figure out how to program it before I break the coffee pot. :fingerscrossed:

Ahhh, good for you! Are you starting to be interested in deaf culture or sign language? Oh man, now we are talking again about deafness....

Tried decaf, didnt take to well to that. And i have had un-caffienated coke but the amount of bloody sugar to comensate for lake of caffiene would rot your stomach lining.

And alot of alcoholic beverages needs caffiene in it as part of the process of making the drink.
