Posts: 25,676 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: November 16, 2005	So, since we live in the most beautifull place on earth, well at least in canada so it is beautifull and terribly non-threatening; we have lots of foriegn students coming here to study english. Since they pay about $700 dollars a month to stay in your house while they are here we have always "planned" on doing it. So my husband was talking to the neighbour down the street who does lots of short term stays. You have two students for the weekend and make about $300. When I called the school about it I was somehow committed to it in about a minute and a half. So this weekend we have two 14 year old japanese girls staying with us. For short term stays you pretty much have to babysit them the whole weekend and take them around to do tourist things. All of which comes out of your pocket. I'm thinking we will only clear about $100 after we entertain them all weekend. Seems like a lot of work for $100. What was I thinking?
