TOS Girl: All the Way! Posts: 7,613 Group: TOS 5000 Post angel Member #3 Joined: November 16, 2005	Hi Angels: Watching the World Cup got me thinking of the fierce national pride people feel. So, I thought it would be fun to see what heritage we possess here. For me, it's all complicated as I'm a real Heinze 57. I was adopted at 2 weeks of age so my inculturation was that of a 3rd generation Welshman. My adopted parents on both sides were Welsh. Although, on my Dad's side there was a goodly amount of English. For Mom's side it was pure Welsh. However, my genetic mix is Native Indian, Irish and French. Now, that is a real Canadian identity as all those ethinicities played an important role in the formation of our country. Next? Morgan

My Dad, more complicated. His Dad was Irish and his Mum was Scottish BUT my Dad was born in Kenya South Africa. So i have no idea what i am

Well that is up to my family: My wife's 1/2 Italian, 1/8 cree, and Welsh. Which makes my son a real cocktail of heritages, all of them high tempered and stubborned :laugh:
