The top 3 worst things about being a woman

Since we are letting it all hang out today, and the baby shower tonight is reminding me why I don't like baby showers, I was thinking about the worst things about being a woman. I know the title says 3 but I may have more.

1) Playing games at showers. Why do we do that to ourselves?

2) Trying to catch the boquet at weddings. There is no way to do that without looking desparate. I would settle for a way to just do it without looking silly but I don't think I have ever seen a woman pull that off either. If you don't make an effort you look like a snob, and if you make any effort at all you look ridiculous.

3) The wet spot. 'nuff said.

4) Being the one to clean the kitchen at every major holiday. Now, I know there will be a man out there who will say "I always help clean the kitchen" and I thank you for that. But doing a job when you have the option not to is so much less difficult than doing it because you have ovaries.

I like my wet spot. Very much so. :hugs:

The worst things about being a woman

1. Society is male oriented, and there are still dinosaurs out there who don't think you won't measure up because you don't have something dangling between your legs

2. People stare at your breasts instead of your eyes

3. When you go on vacation, you're never on vacation. You're still the "cruise director". Planning everything, cleaning up, never just relaxing and doing what you want without others whining about it.

I would have thought bleeding profusely from your cooch once a month would have made the list!
You know, there are some words I've known since I was a schoolboy: "With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably." Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie, as wisdom and warning. The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged.

It's not profusely, it's about 2 tablespoons worth.

I'm beginning to think that NHranger is actually, evil!

Morgan

PS... I'm definately a person who thinks every step towards womanhood is a vast improvement over boy world.

PSS. And Wissa, you need to teach me about baby and wedding shower games so I'm up on the curve. :afraid:

Of course it is.

I remember reading this in the doctors office when I was there for having severe pain while menstrating.

On average it's 2 tablespoons a month.

And ladies, if you have pain, make sure you've gone to the doctor. A little is normal, huge pains are not. I lost my uterus do to my "pains".
