Nope, it's mainly for the equestrian teams going to the olympics.

Here's the Team GBR site: http://www.equestrianteamgbr.co.uk/

Is there an Olympic polo event?

Only Water Polo

Horse Polo used to be an olympic sport but the 1936 olympics was the last time is was classed as such. People are still campaigning to reinstate it to the olympics.

I saw this horse jump a fence from stand still. For an old git like him he sure was very fit.

Not entirely sure. The owner didn't keep proper records of her horses, unless they were her son's show jumping horses.

But we reckon he was somewhere in his late teens.

Awww. There's a Pony at the yard I go to whose 28 years old, he's still going strong and is used for the beginner kids lessons. My niece rode him the other day.

Awww, the oldies are the best, they have seen everything. There was an oldie at the stables in Bradford but he was a miserable, grumpy old sod. Nothing like the calm sweet little oldies you can get.

Oh this one can be a grump - he likes nothing better to try and nip you when you go to stroke him. He's got me a couple of times when I was helping out with a Pony Club Clear Round morning.

Brits saying reckon just doesn't seem right to me  It just seems like a word that is reserved for people who whittle, & chew tobaccy

I saw this avatar at another site, and it made me laugh. It's not a very Mary Poppins look, that's why she's only "practically" perfect.
