TOS Girl: All the Way!

Mine is simply a scaled and posted pic of a Scott the Hot Christmas postcard Blue presented in another forum.

She's great, I'm a fan of her art so choosing such a cool avvy was a no-brainer. :rab24:

Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings, Angels. :xmaskiss:

Rachel, thank you again for your compliments. I really do appreciate them.

My avatar is also a scaled down version of one the graphics I posted earlier. It's a photo I'm rather fond of.

Those that know me well know that I love Black & White pictures, David Hewlett, SGA & I hope that one day I'll get to Canada. My current avi sums up all those things and I think the hint of colour of on Maple leaf sets the picture off (if I say so myself)

A very effective use of color. You might not have noticed her as much, were it not for that, & noticing her was very important to the point of the film

Yep colour can be very significant in films, it can convey emotions and even change the feel of a scene. When I was studying Media, we had to watch the "Red Room" scene of "Jane Eyre" and talk about how just by using all the different shades of red made the room unsettling to Jane.

Color can also be used to provide a continuity, like the blue tones in movies like "Edward Scissorhands"
