IM DOOOOONE!!! Alhamdulillah.

not for long though.. me and a couple of friends are gonna be teaching at a summer camp in Maryland, inshaAllah. road trips... uh oh.

hey, which summer camp?

we need a female qu'ran teacher in baltimore and our summer camp starts on monday!

we're teaching at the ICM. i think they start ... im not sure when they start. ill have to find out.

although.. i really am very picky when it comes to who you learn Qur'an from. I mean, i can read it and have the *basic* rules of tajweed down.. but i think these summer camps should hire qualified teachers of Qur'an who have mastered all the rules of tajweed. and i dont know of anyone who qualifies ... there are some aunties, but they're kinda violent :ph43r:

i totally agree with your assessment of Qur'an teachers.

but right now, something is better than nothing. i believe the pay is $9 at our summer camp, if ur interested or know someone who would be interested.
