"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

The purpose of this thread is to make an easy bridge between artist and quest-giver/plot-planner, by providing interesting sprite edits for use in spicing up or inspiring quests, or plots, or even just a normal journey or tagteam. It works pretty simply: Step 1. Anyone who's made a sprite edit they wouldn't mind being used as described above posts them here, with a short description if they'd like to add one, as well as a note on whether or not the Pokémon depicted is meant to be unique. Only restriction's that you have to have made it in order to post it. If you've got any particular policy on rehosting, it'd be most helpful to also include it there. If a given sprite is adoptable (that is, you don't mind if someone catches the Pokémon depicted and uses the sprite in their profile), please note so. Note that, even with artist permission, any sprite-adoption must be okayed by staff first. Also note that staff may decide at their discretion that a sprite listed as non-unique must be made unique to be used, and may likewise decide that a particular sprite may not be used at all for one reason or another. Step 2. Anyone who'd like to use one or more posted sprites for a plot posts here to call dibs, or contacts the artist through PM if they'd like to do their dib-calling discreetly to avoid spoilers getting out. Step 3. Artist marks the sprite as called. This is less important to non-uniques, but potentially still relevant. Step 4. ???? Step 5. PROFIT! You're not required to use this thread to get your sprites out there if you don't want to; you're still free to use your shop thread for that. This thread is not the place for requests. If you have a plot- or quest-related graphics request, please take it to either the official GRT or the shop thread of a specific user. -- I'll start. My rehosting policy is that I would very much appreciate if you do rehost my sprites before using them yourself. My general adoption policy is that I don't mind if you, in the course of a plot event or quest, somehow manage to catch one of my non-adoptable non-uniques, but I don't want you to just go about starting with a faceless Geodude or catching a fungally-infected Zubat in an otherwise unremarkable cave romp. Non-Unique. This Geodude does not have a face. Non-Unique. This Zubat has taken a leaf (gill?) out of Paras's book, and has an awfully gnarly fungal infection going on. Non-Unique. Adoptable. These Joltik have feral orange eyes and feet, rather than the normal blue. Unique, Adoptable. This Whismur is cute. Unique(?), Adoptable. This Grimer's a bit more tarry than most. Unique, Adoptable. This is DJ the Bard, and he likes to rock. Non-Unique, Adoptable. Great Ball Voltorb. Non-Unique, Adoptable. Great Ball Electrode. Non-Unique, Adoptable. Ultra Ball Voltorb. Will get Ultra Electrode up eventually if there is interest. Unique, Adoptable. Meet Mr. Woolz. He's a bit on the overweight side, and would like to make you an offer you can't refuse.
