Non-Weekly Quote:
(Updated when the fancy strikes us)
"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

Welcome to the small harbor city known to many far and wide as Ayer. Since the dawn of modern civilization in Tohea this peaceful little municipal has been a great place for trainers seeking adventure through the continent to start. The friendly people and basic Pokemon roaming around are great for trainers to battle and take a shot at interacting with. There are just so many things to describe I'm a little hesitant to start, fearing I'll end up ranting about the great possibilities of this location. Perhaps I should inform you of the giant "WOAH WHAT WAS THAT!?" A fisher man, sat on a wooden box on dock nearly fell out off his seat while shouting about that massive creature surfacing in the bay.

The Pokemon appeared to be some sort of massive sea serpent, clearly uncommon this close to land. People gathered round to witness this phenomenon, leaving the rest of the dock very unobserved. Three people dressed in solid black uniforms were seen quickly darting off a docked boat while the monster was flailing around in the water entertaining a crowd. Whatever these people off to they were doing it in a hurry, clearly not distracted by the giant Pokemon surfacing above the water. They made their way up a set of stairs which connected the docks to the land but quickly jumped off at the top step, landing on the beach area beneath where the ocean met shore. The giant sea monster came close to the humans who landed, quickly resting its head on the shore. All three of the black-suited strangers hopped aboard the monster who promptly swam off into the ocean.

Out of no where a rather loud noise resembling an explosion came out of somewhere around your general area. If you observed long enough you would see that the boat the men exited was...sinking? Somehow the boat seemed to be slowly taking on water and getting deeper into the sea beneath. The boat was pretty far out, about three hundred feet from land and forty to fifty feet of water between it and the bottom of the sea. A man began to shout in panic when he witnessed the boat slowly being consumed by the unforgiving ocean. "My boat! What happened? Someone help!" He shouted out in a panic, hoping someone would heed his call.

So, what do you do? Help this poor old sap or just continue on. I mean there's not so much you could do to help someone who's livelihood was being swallowed in water by the second. You could try and calm him down, maybe. Then again this is your life your adventure, so you always could say "Screw you old man I'm going to get me some pogeymonz."

Speaking of Pokemon, a curious little critter was creeping his way along the dock. It looked like a grass type, considering it had leaves for arms. Maybe this guy was more worth your time! Woah, look at that it just used vines to snatch something out of the water!
