Ayer was full of all sorts of fumes, vapors and smoke - although not exactly the kind you were used to. The sound of the sea and bustling tourists bounced and echoed between the short buildings here by the sea-side, windows and ocean itself reflecting the mid-day sun as it baked the city. Again, not the kind of baking you normally preferred, but what could you do? The dog days had settled with a vengeance upon the unforgiving landscape, slowly draining the energy out of Ayer like it was all part of the evil plot of the season, one final death throw of 96 degree weather. Thankfully, you'd escaped it minutes ago.

Standing in the Pokemon center, the blessed air conditioning washed over your tall form, and causing the sweat collected on your skin to turn frigid almost instantly. Chilling with your Charmander, the lizard's flame increased in size slightly as the fire-type did his own part to combat the drop in temperature. More at home in the extremes of the outdoors, his internal regulation was fire-based, and as he stoked his own energy he began to look more comfortable and less sluggish. Trotting around, the orange salamander Pokemon stayed near your side, sniffing at the various curious sights and scents around the both of you.

Well, that was until an unruly Pokemon decided to launch an attack at Tyler without warning or announcement. Knocked forward by the gust of wind, Charmander's flame fluttered in the strong blast of air, burning strong even as he turned to glare at the assailant. The Taillow looked proud of itself, puffing up its chest feathers and turning to preen its wing delicately, perched on the back of a chair for waiting trainers. No trainer in sight, the Pokemon turned back to Tyler and let out a challenging chirp, breaking the unspoken "no battling in the Pokemon center" rule.

Hopping back and forth from foot to foot, the little brat bird looked like it was getting pumped and ready for battle, letting out another series of bright chirps.

"I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven, but when I awoke I spent that on a necklace."
The music blasting through Wiz's headphones could be heard from several feet away, creating a buzz as he came walking through the entrance. If anyone noticed, Wiz didn't. He was lost in his own little universe - enveloped in a musical atmosphere so influential that, even if someone had ran up and pummeled his face in with a flaming toaster, he wouldn't deviate his attention. The only thing going on in his mind was the music, the fact that he needed to sit down, and the music. Moving in unison with the song's rhythm and beat, Wiz quickly gazed around the lobby of the Pokémon Center, not worried about the inevitably troubled expressions of anybody who cared to look his way. The place was shockingly empty, at least compared to his initial expectations. There were only one or two individuals lounging, and the occasional nurse walked by; a couple Pokémon here and there, but overall a pretty quaint and peaceful environment. That is, of course, if you factored out the perturbing buzz leaking from Wiz's ears.

Following closely behind was Wiz's partner in just about every aspect of his life: Tyler the Charmander. The young monster made an effort to not wander too far away from his master - his body language reeked of uncertainty and timidness, his charm highlighted by his shyness. The salamander was normally quite a vivacious being, but the unfamiliarity and cooled temperature of the building quickly subdued his upbeat aura. It didn't take long, however, for Tyler to adapt. He flared aggressively, his tail seemingly receiving a new breath of life. The newly found warmth shook away the chills and placed him in a much more comfortable situation, allowing Tyler to wander a bit further from his comfort zone.

By now, Wiz had planted himself on one of the many couches offered by the lobby. His frail frame seemingly sunk into the couch, his body completely stretched out as if he were preparing to sleep - which was a real possibility. The music was as loud as ever, his eyes were closed, and his mind was officially somewhere off in space, frolicking with the stars and comets. Wiz was officially zoned out. Tyler, on the other hand, was busy being the curious Pokémon that he was, elatedly exploring this new exotic world. He wobbled about, reached out; gazed at the ceiling, marveled at the freedom he was experiencing. The reptiles imagination was running wild at this point - he was a toddler at play. Yet, just as things were looking better for the critter (I mean he had just found some Pokémon Food laying on the ground under a coffee table, who wouldn't be delighted?), someone decided to ruin his fun.

A gust of wind tackled the Charmander without warning, pushing him unexpectedly and disorienting his sense of balance. Shocked, Tyler's tail sparked, the flame burning stronger than before in an instinctive reaction to the sudden attack. His head jerked, eyes locking onto the apparent assailant: a Taillow. Tyler stepped forth, approaching the swallow with an aggravated expression plastered on his face. He growled lowly, a warning of sorts, and fueled his flame. Taking another step forward, he spoke to the bully. "Let just one more gust of wind graze my skin...and I'll make sure you never fly again." His voice echoed, the bold statement getting his point across loud and clear.

*Bold indicates attack.

you should know this, but make sure your profile and journey are in the sig. - z

As the Taillow watched the lizard get angry, the little bird began to chirp even louder. There was almost a smirk of “LOL I CAN TAKE YOU” come across his face, if beaks could move like mouths. The fact they can’t made that feeling irrelevant. The threat that came across to Tyler was short lived as suddenly you could hear a ear piercing scream coming from your right. A mid-ranged female with bright pink hair and a white nurse get-up came running at you, and…wait…did she had a broom in hand?

“Get Out of HEEERREEE!” She screamed as all three of you looked. The taillow knew what exactly was going on, and tried to lift off, but suddenly was shot across the room. The gust of air, thought to be a Gust Attack was really the whipping of the broom, as the nurse smacked the bird. Luckily, the Taillow rebounded in mid-air and started flying and squawking in a pissed off tone now. However this was the least of your worries, as the nurse now began to turn her attention away from the pest flying above, to look at you.

“HEY! HEY! LISTEN! she screamed at the top of her lungs as she grabbed the one side of your headphones and snapped them back at your head. “You know the rules. There is no Pokémon battles within the Pokémon Center. If you proceed to battle with that little pest, I’ll have to ask you leave. She said in a fierce “mom-esque” tone. You know that tone, the one where she’s really mad but wants to be forgiving at the same time. Letting out a big huff of frustration, she turned her back on you and looked back at the bird, trying to swat it away out towards the door.

“Stupid wild birds. Constantly trying to pick fights…YA IM LOOKING AT YOU! GET OUT!” she said as she continue to try and lead the bird towards the exit. Here’s the opportunity to help out and get back on her good graces. Or you can just simply do nothing and continue not to care. The choice is yours.

Wiz looked up at the nurse with a bewildered expression. He was half asleep at the time, and everything was just moving way too fast for him to comprehend. The only thing he really understood was that, one, he was no longer listening to music, and two, the aforementioned nurse was the one responsible for interrupting his little session. Readjusting himself "properly" on the furniture, Wiz made an effort to at least figure out what the ruckus was all about - it was the least he could do. He ran his hands over his face, scratching his sleepy eyes that were now focused on the young woman. Taking a second to piece together the bits and pieces of whatever it was that she was complaining about, Wiz paused.

"Wait, wait, wait..." He said lifelessly. "What exactly is the problem here?"

The nurse attempted to explain the situation, halfway pointing at the Taillow with a broom. It was at this point that Wiz looked down and saw his poor little Tyler, all worked up, staring down the bird as if he had intentions of dismembering its limbs one by one. His tail swayed back and forth, carefully, while the decorated flame burned with a ferociousness not often seen by such a young Charmander. The tension could be felt in the air and the two critters were obviously not pleased with each other. Wiz sighed, and lazily leaned over the armrest and towards his Pokémon.

"Come on now, Tyler, let's not be childish." His request was met by a sharp hissing noise, indicating that the Charmander was not at all ready to back down - especially not after such a cheap attack. Another few seconds passed, the silence in the room growing more and more unbearable. Wiz could feel the nurse on his back and it was becoming apparent that they weren't exactly welcome in the Pokémon Center if this little quarrel were to continue. "Fine." He uttered. "I'll go outside," talking to Tyler, and indirectly conforming to Joy's demand. "I'll watch as you 'settle' your dispute." And, with that, the young man hopped up out of the couch, turned his music back on, and walked out the exit - his Charmander sprinting out not too far ahead.

Wiz immediately popped a squat on the same, outside wall of the entrance. He wasn't really looking to get involved with the fight between his Charmander and the bird, who happened to be in the process of getting kicked out, as well. Instead, he would supervise Tyler and assist him where needed - he'd simply lay back and listen to his music meanwhile. This would be good practice for Tyler, Wiz thought, who was currently waiting for the Taillow to come flying outside of the building so that he could catch its attention. He would have his revenge, if it were up to him. The young salamander would immediately growl at the swallow, and take it from there.

Nurse Joy sighed. If a Pokémon came wandering into her Pokémon Centre looking the way that young man had, she'd have assumed a bad case of Confusion combined with a serious dosing of Sleep Powder. What was ON those headphones he was listening to anyway? At least he was leaving, and taking his Charmander with him. That left her with just the Taillow, who seemed pretty interested in following the little fire lizard anyway. She wasn't about to leave the fight she'd picked!

Just for the heck of it though, she gave the bird a good swat with her broom as it went for the exit. Who ever said that Nurses didn't like a good fight, anyway? Sighing contentedly at having defended her hospital, she put the broom away, scurried back behind the counter and said, "Next please!"

Not that you saw much of this exchange, but the upshot of it was that the Taillow blew out the doors, looking rather rumpled and in a seriously bad mood. Little beady eyes narrowing as it focused in on your Charmander, it shrieked a battle cry and plummeted down for a vicious peck attack. Granted, Tyler's various Growls had taken the edge off its attacks, but that was still one mad little bird doing its best to damage you. And sadly for you, it was a direct hit! Of course, with all those Growls earlier, it's not like that did a ton of damage anyway.

Back in the dry heat outside, Tyler's flame flared brilliantly, sparking with anger at being pecked on the head. That hurt! At least it hadn't hit an eye... So the first round of official battle had taken place, now let the fight begin!

"GOD DAMN IT!" Shrieked Tyler. He bent over, clutching at his head in an attempt to nurse the wound as best he could. Taking a few steps back while rubbing at his newly lacerated skull, the salamander quickly rose a claw at the bird, pointing at it while barking a few choice words. "You're a bitch for that! Try it again, I guarantee I'll have you pinned on the floor!" The flame that balanced on the tip of his tail roared, scorching and crackling at the heat it was producing. He widened his stance, doing the only thing he could do: wait. It would be absolutely foolish to pursue the bird, seeing as it had an obvious advantage over the flightless Charmander. Instead, he would wait on the ground for the bird to descend, and snatch it right out of the air when it got close enough.

He wouldn't move until just the right time; he would wait until the bird was just a foot away, when its inertia would make it nearly impossible to change direction. Then, he'd sidestep, maneuvering out of the way and grabbing the feathery critter right out of the air. Once he got his claws on the bird, he'd wrestle it to the ground, scratch relentlessly and put his tail to the bird's body in an effort to scorch the damned Taillow. Hopefully, his weight would prove too much for the bird to overcome and, if given the opportunity, he'd scratch at it once more and keep it pinned to the floor.

Wiz remained seated, watching as the battle unfolded. He was amazed at the fact that Tyler allowed the bird to swoop in and strike him with such ease, but he was confident that he wouldn't need to interfere. However, as a precaution, he removed his earphones and let them hang from his neck - he could still tune into the music whenever he needed, but could now afford to pay attention to the fight at hand. Wiz enjoyed letting Tyler fight on his own - he thought it allowed him more growth and maturation; it allowed for a deeper learning experience. Besides, what good are orders from the sideline compared to instinctive decisions based on what is going on at the time.

"Come on, Tyler! Don't let that thing just dive in and pick you apart!" He cheered, halfway rooting for a good show. He pulled out a candy bar from his pocket and unwrapped it in anticipation. Wiz expected for the bird to put up a fight, what with its flight advantage and all. He wouldn't be surprised if he would need to coach Tyler a bit, but he had faith. At least, for now.

Swooping in victory circles above your poor fire-type, Taillow seemed even more smug than ever. Maybe as a byproduct of its Guts ability, its confidence was growing with each hit, along with how much of a rife bastard she was. Chirping louder and louder, her sharp calls pierced the air like a chant of some sort, declaring a number of obscenities that were not fit to be translated from Pokemon to human. Every feather on her body was ruffled up, increasing her apparent size as a somewhat less sound-intensive testament to her awesomeness, which was complete and fully encompassing. Diving in suddenly, she did exactly what you expected - another peck attack. Inventive, she was not. Landing a sharp blow on Tyler's shoulder, it was only her loud squawk of surprise that denoted that her plan didn't go anticipated.

She wheeled off-course to the side, wings flapping erratically in the wake of his scratch attack. His claws had whipped up suddenly, snapping to drag along her smaller body and upsetting her flight-path, almost breaking her wing due to the angle and the sheer surprise of his retaliation. She was visibly deflated, suddenly landing a distance away to recover her nerves: when had the little bugger learned to do THAT? Eyes wide with a combination of rage, indignation and betrayal, she let out a loud warning chirp. It seemed that the fire lizard wasn't playing by her rules: the rules where she won and he didn't do anything. Perhaps the Taillow was younger than she looked? Leaping forward to try to pin the bird Pokemon down, the swallow was airborne a moment later, apparently recovered enough to whirl around for one last peck before swooping up to a safe distance. She didn't look like she'd be taking any more chances, close as the battle was.

A trainer came out of the Pokemon center in that same moment, frantically looking left and right. "Trina? TRINA?" he called, anxiety etched in the lines on his face before he spotted the circling shadow on the ground. Eyes lifting up to fix on the bird, the trainer extended his arms as she descended - coming within range of an attack, but also landing in a hug from who appeared to be the guy that owned her. Chirping angrily, she turned and indicated Charmander with her beak, as though it was all his fault. "Again? Trina, why are mean Pokemon always picking fights with you? You should be ashamed of yourself," he chided your starting partner, with a stern glare. "Where is your trainer?"

Tyler stood strong despite the numerous wounds he acquired throughout the battle. Fighting an aerial opponent on the ground wasn't the easiest task but, at least, the bird wasn't the brightest of them all. His arm crossed his chest while clutching at his shoulder, battered repeatedly by the bird's piercing beak. The young Pokémon was quite possibly standing on his last leg - as was his opponent - so whoever drew first contact would leave this confrontation victorious. Tyler didn't exactly marvel at the thought of losing, so winning would be the only option. Though, there was just one thing to take note of: the Taillow's trainer was now apart of the equation.

Tyler could do nothing more than shoot a blood-curdling stare at the sheltered bird, anxiously awaiting for his order to finish her off. Wiz, on the other hand, wasn't entirely on the same page. Noticing that the bird did, in fact, have a trainer, he rose up from where he was seated and approached the battle. "That would be me," Wiz spoke loudly in a response to the trainer's inquiry. He stood beside Tyler, knelt down and patted him on the head. "There shouldn't be a problem here, right? Just a friendly bout." He spoke to whoever would listen. "Though, it wasn't Tyler who started it - it was your Taillow who just attacked him out of nowhere."

"I really wouldn't have a problem finishing the fight, would you?" Wiz now stood straight up, rising above just about everybody else. Tyler stepped forward, almost instantaneously agreeing to carry on. Once the bird was let free by her trainer to continue to fight, he would waste no time in attacking: shooting a blast of fire from his mouth at full speed, and follow up with a scratch just in case the first didn't connect. The battle would be over within just one round, so Tyler would have to act quick and make sure to get the first, and last hit.

The opposing male trainer gave you a stern glare, as he comforted his 'victimized' Pokémon. Apparently he did not think his wonderful Trina could do such the thing you were accusing her of doing. In his eyes, Trina could do no wrong, even though a similar situation has come up before. The boy just could not believe that such a...loving Pokémon could do such horrible things. So anyone who attempted to say otherwise, would be shot down immediately. Which is exactly what happened to Wiz. The boy immediately barked back at you. "Trina can do no wrong! Stop lying you little twerp!" Obviously offended by your accusations. It had seemed as if any signs of maturity quickly left the dimwitted trainer.

The trainer seemed to be pondering for a few seconds, and got a nod from his little demon Pokémon. It had seemed as if they had both agreed to finish the battle. The seemingly immature duo of stupidity wanted to take on your fire lizard and attempt to defeat you. You could clearly see where the annoying Pokémon got its personality traits from. If I were you, I wouldn't be able to resist the urge to just run up to him and introduce your fist to his face. Just writing about them is annoying! Anyway, back on track.

Both of them stared at you with their dark beady eyes. And then within a single nod, the Pokémon gave out a large cry. Trina less than gracefully flapped its wings and flew off of the male trainer and started to increase in elevation. It then hovered above the Charmander, attempting to circle around it from above. You had to give it to the stupid trainer and his demonic Pokémon. The Pokémon was pretty fast, and strong for being such a low level. It also seemed like it would never give up, even if it were sent to the gates of the underworld. It would probably peck the crap out of Hades.

"Trina, fly around him as fast as you can, and search for any open holes for attack! At the perfect moment, I want you to glide in and use a Peck attack! Aim for its face. I want this to really hurt. They won't get away for bad mouthing you!" The Taillow followed orders, as your Pokémon was readying his move. And then the events proceeded to unfold. Trina quickly flew around Tyler, going as fast as her level four heart could go. Tyler continued to prepare its attack. Since it was not necessarily a move he had learned, it took him a little longer to garner the energy for it. Then at the most random second, the flying Pokémon disappeared from the lizard's view. Trina darted down, increasing her speed as she decreased in elevation. The flying Pokémon was surprisingly going extremely quick, and was nearly impossible to keep your eyes on. Tyler seemed to have been confused as to where the Pokémon went, but at the last second turned around and opened his mouth. With one fast burst of fire energy, the Taillow was stopped dead in its track. She was literally one second away from severely piercing Tyler with her beak. And Charmander just so happened to hit her right in the face.

You did not even have to look at the other trainer to know exactly what his face would look like. But if you really wanted the satisfaction, it would pretty much look like a person who just got smacked in the face. Who's expression was filled with utter shock and shame. You obviously put that hoe in his place. Kudos to you. And by the looks of it, Nurse Joy would be pleased to see the pest returning to the center for getting its ass beat. Not really.

The male trainer started to shake a little bit.
"You....you! You cheated! You obviously cheated! There's no way Trina would lose to the likes of you, you scum!! AGH!!!" The idiotic trainer returned his Pokémon and ran into the Pokémon Center. For a second you could hear a couple whimpers and the possible sounds of a bitch crying. And then bam, you were by yourself, and your Pokémon seemed a bit stronger, kudos to you on winning your first Pokémon battle!

Tyler's body rose and fell with each breath he took. The little guy was exhausted, to say the least, but the sense of accomplishment that showered over him overrode every other feeling he felt. Sure, he had played around with local Pokémon and sparred here and there, but this marked the first ever time he won an actual battle - the first time he knocked another Pokémon out of consciousness. It filled him with a feeling never felt before or, at least, not felt with such intensity. He like it. The flame that he waved around proudly was burning passionately, crackling in its own heat with each wave of his tail. Wiz knelt down beside him, petting him heavily in an effort to praise his performance.

"Aye, you looked like a beast out there, for real!" He proclaimed, ecstatic for his Charmander. Taking a moment to survey Tyler's condition, Wiz determined that it'd be best to walk right back into the Pokémon Center for assistance. "Come on," he picked Tyler up quickly; enthusiastically, even. "We gotta' get you patched up." Now cradling the overgrown salamander in his arms, Wiz waltzed right back into the nursing establishment. Once inside, he walked up to one of the self-help machines and recalled Tyler for just a moment, placed him in the docking station, waited for the beeping noise to subside, and reclaimed his Pokeball. Paying no attention to the people around him, Wiz let himself out and back into the city of Ayer.

It wasn't until now that it finally hit him: Wiz was on his own. He'd have to find a reliable place to stay, a steady source of income...the basics, just to get him up on his own two feet. He seriously needed to consider what it was that he wanted to do with his spare time - training Pokémon would take a good bit of time, especially if he were to compete in the league for whatever reason. He could kill two birds with one stone: competing in the league would yield a fair bit amount of money and, once he saves a decent amount, he could put his money to work. He didn't have all the details, of course, these were just random thoughts circling around his consciousness while walking towards...well, where was he walking?

Wiz sighed, stopped right where he was, and took off his backpack. Quickly unzipping it and carelessly reaching within, he shuffled around in search of a map that was handed to him by a tour guide. Once he had it, he pulled it out and opened it. It took him a minute or two to orientate himself, but it didn't take much longer to realize that he was walking towards the beach. Wiz thought to himself, there really wouldn't be any harm in taking the rest of the day off and just go out beating the shit out of random Pokémon. I mean, who wouldn't love that? Tyler sure as hell wouldn't mind...

"lovely it," He proclaimed to anyone willing to listen. "We're off to the beach I guess..."

The destination of many a trainer, Ayer's beach was a wide sea of sand at the edge of the ocean, a fantastic area for untold numbers of civilians and trainers alike to relax. Blue water, blue skies, blue... swimsuits, apparently, going by the group of college co-eds who had just passed by, all of them wearing blue bikinis. Probably either a sports team or coordinated streakers, take your pick. They faded into the mass of humanity quickly, though - and what a mass it was!

Trainers of all sorts and sizes, completely unsurprisingly, were wreaking unholy havoc on the native Pokémon populations, who, in fairness, kinda deserved it for living right next to a city full of omnicidal trainers. But the locals were fighting back, sometimes too well, and more than a few were hassling civilians or weaker trainers, though never lethally. People who weren't trainers were in abundance as well, easily outnumbering trainers several to one; sunbathing, chasing Pokémon, being chased by Pokémon, some just letting it all hang out - to the horror or enjoyment of varying spectators, whatever. Really, it seemed more like an enormous game than a war zone, every battle serious and unrelenting, sometimes spilling over into the area nearby, and yet no one seemed to be getting seriously hurt, even the idiots who thought it would be a good idea to jam their heads into Krabby pincers.

And yes, someone actually did that. The Krabby looked sort of annoyed, bitchslapped the person senseless, and wandered off still looking a bit constipated, or was that amused? The "victim's" friends, barely staving off hysterical laughter, dragged him to a nearby towel - likely their base of operations so to speak - but didn't bother going after the Krabby. You could, if you wanted to, but it was very doubtful that anyone in that group would care; even the "victim" had more or less recovered and was laughing like a retard as well. Unless you wanted a Krabby, anyways. Then again, if you spent some time going further down the beach, eventually the mass of people would thin out and there'd be more Pokémon to beat the shit out of. Good freakin' luck finding a Pokémon that's not already in a battle here.

Wiz chuckled to himself as he watched the events before him unfold. If it weren't for the little bit of humility that he possessed, he'd break out in hysterical laughter right in front of the mass of people that surrounded him. Instead, he watched as the idiot of a kid tended to his "wound" while jokingly messing around with his friends, letting the Krabby walk off in a wave of anger. The river crab was quite irritated and Wiz, being the opportunistic guy that he was, decided that it would be a good "play-mate" for Tyler to...well, "play" with. It didn't occur to him until just now that he hadn't let his buddy out since the Pokémon Center, as well, so he lazily reached for its Pokeball and summoned the fire-Pokémon. Just a few seconds afterward, Tyler was on the beach sand, shuffling around in an effort to get a feel for where he was.

Wiz promptly knelt down by his side. "Hey, buddy," He whispered. "You see that Krabby up ahead? Well, wouldn't you think it'd be a great learning experience to, say, treat it as target practice, aye?" Of course, the phrase "treat it as target practice" was quite literally synonymous for "brutally blindside it" or "beat the shit out of." You see, the plan was quite simple and Tyler had already synchronized with what Wiz was getting at.

The bold salamander locked onto the unsuspecting Krabby before taking off in a frenzied charge. His little frame looked quite awkward running so fast, especially on such a shifty foundation of sand, but he was moving quickly given the circumstances. Tyler didn't like wasting time and, as soon as he got within striking distance, let out a blast of fire in the direction of the already stressed crab. Still running and huffing and puffing, Tyler leaped into the air before his first attack had a chance to land, and bore his claws in preparation of a swift, follow-up strike that would scratch and claw into the crustacean's exoskeleton.

Meanwhile, Wiz lackadaisically wandered off further into the beach. Mind you, he didn't stray too far away from his beloved Charmander; he still kept a close eye on Tyler. Instead of watching what would be an inevitable victory for his companion, Wiz looked on - towards the horizon; towards the shore; in every which direction - in search of something. He already decided that the rest of the day would be spent bonding with Tyler through means of relentlessly plowing through less competent, wild Pokémon. So, in turn, he looked around for just that: a wild Pokémon that would either challenge Tyler considerably, or make a decent addition to Wiz's team.

I mean, he was all for laying on the beach and watching the sunset on such a beautiful evening, but he had it set in his mind that he was going to train Tyler, add some pieces to his team, and find someway to make money off of battling Pokémon. More than likely, that would mean taking part in the Pokémon League, but that would be much further down the road. For now, Wiz needed to build a strong foundation to lean on, both financially and in terms of an overall Pokémon team...or gang, which sounded a lot better. The "Taylor Gang," yeah. That had a nice ring to it.

As Tyler closed in, Krabby kept moving, and unaware to your Charmander, Krabby began to hear the lizard approaching, which made it start prepping for a battle. Tyler then let one rip…a small blast of fire came out of his mouth, and flew through the air. Unfortunately, it wasn’t real strong, as it hit Krabby and really didn’t do much of anything. In retaliation, the small crustacean clicked its pincers together and began foaming at the mouth. It wasn’t rabid, but only doing what it does when it senses DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER!, it “cloaks” its self in bubbles. This was some kind of mechanism that made it think it looked bigger, and not more useless than it already was.

OH NO ITS CLOAKED WHERE IS IT? Oh wait…its still where it was, but just had a layer of bubbles and foam around it. /sigh this thing really was retarded. The battle didn’t last long, as the two hits combo’d together knocked the poor crab out, and really didn’t have a chance. This caught the attention of the boys, that were previously picking on the Krabby. Your charmander was fighting in a water area, and wouldn’t last long if they decided to team up and carry it into the water. The one of the main “leaders” if you want to call him that, nodded to the others then pointed at the fire beast. They looked at you, but didn’t care and slowly approached Tyler. When I mean slowly, I mean they took every caution they could, and walked at a snail pace.

Meanwhile things were about to get a bit more interesting as things by you were heating up. As you wandered farther away from the normal fighting spot, more Pokémon began to take notice. Big and mean Pokémon.
