"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

Universal Move List Aka moves that can be used by any Pokémon, regardless of level or type if they have the required body parts. These moves are useful on Pokémon who start out with no attacks, such as Ralts or Abra. Since they are very low in power the moves are can be used in place of a supplement move. Universal Physical Attack Rather than a move with a specific name, 'universal physical attack' is simply ordering your Pokémon to attack the foe physically with any appendage. Whether it be punching, kicking, scratching, biting etc., your basic commands will be translated by the Pokémon as appropriate. When using a basic physical 'attack' make sure you state which limb your Pokémon should be attacking with. All 'universal physical attack's are typeless, meaning they won't hit anything for extra damage or give the user a same type attack bonus. Nothing is immune to this attack, either - normal Pokémon may use this against ghosts, for instance. Type Energy Attack That's right, every Pokémon now has the ability to harness their primary 'type' in a small concentrated ball of Special Attack energy. Each move does minimal damage, but gains the effect of same type attack bonus. RPers are free to perceive Type Energy Attacks in their own way, as long as they remain very weak. An example would be Bulbasaur shooting an oval of Grass energy from his mouth at the target. For dual-typed Pokémon, this attack will always be the Pokémon's primary type. Stat-Altering Moves These moves are very temporary, their effects lasting two turns at max. Due to the simplicity of these moves they cannot be stacked, meaning you cannot use more than one of these moves on the same target until the effect has worn off. These moves all count as supplementary. Spit Spits in enemy's face, lowering their Defense. Yap User creates a distracting noise, lowering the target's Special Defense. Stretch By relaxing its muscles the user temporarily gains an Attack or Speed buff. Brace By tensing its muscles the user temporarily gains a Defense buff. Focus Turns potential energy into kinetic energy, temporarily boosting Special Attack. Prayer Through a mystical force the user gains a Special Defense buff. |
