"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla
Tohea is in archive mode, but the legend lives on. |

Stepping off of the train that brought you to Tohea City, you couldn't help but wonder about the people on it. They were all so odd, saying things about Pokémon vanishing and not being able to find any wild Pokémon. Of course you figured that they must have been on something, or that possibly some stupid rumor was going around. I mean come on, this is a continent known for its abundance of Pokémon, and now people are saying that there are no Pokémon to be found. Now that's just a little too far fetched to actually believe, don't you think? Well as it is, if you look around, you do see a lot of Pokémon, though of course they're all trainers' Pokémon battling each other. Now you never heard anything about battling being a favorite thing on the island, although you supposed that that could make sense. However, you didn't see any wild Pokémon, but that's probably because there are too many people around, right? I suppose that you have arranged to meet your sister here, although did you two actually pick a spot? The Pokémon Center, or the Pokémart or something along those lines? You may want to hurry, as it appears that there are some dark clouds rolling up over head, although you don't know what they might carry. It was also bringing in some kind of chill. Brr! |

Judith looked around as she got off the train. Her sister was nowhere in sight. It was a shame that they hadn't been able to sit next to each other in the train; they'd been separated by the push and shove the crowd around the train. It was surprising how many people wanted to go to Tohea, especially with wild rumors flying around about Pokémon disappearing. On this line of logic, shouldn't Judith and Katherina be staying away from Tohea as well? No... it would be stupid to stay away from a town due to some stupid rumor. If the rumors were true, they could try and find out how to stop the disappearances... How could the rumor be true with so many Pokémon around? Judith could see various trainers battling just fine; people would be panicking if their Pokémon were vanishing. Battling here seemed to be as much a pastime as it had been in Johto. Judith quietly edged around these battles and headed toward the fountain in the middle of the city, where she and her sister had decided to meet. She was sure they'd meet up in a jiffy... unless Katherina forgot where they were supposed to meet. They had been separated just as they'd agreed where to meet, after all. The memory of their meeting place may have been pushed out of her head as the crowed pushed her. You never knew with Katherina... Judith stopped at the fountain and turned in the direction of the station, scanning the crowd for her sister. Katherina's hair was purple for crying out loud. She wouldn't be hard to spot. Judith hoped she'd come soon; it was cold and the clouds overhead didn't look like the harmless cirrus clouds that she liked best... To comfort herself, Judith let out her Mareep. The sheep burst out of its Pokeball with a flash of red light and stood blinking up at Judith. She kneeled down and took the sheep Pokémon into her arms and cuddled it. Mareep didn't seem to mind, though its fur crackled with electricity, making random strands of Judith's hair stand on end. As the little sheep settled in Judith's lap, Judith started to think. What wold she name her companion? After a moment of thought, she smiled. "I'll call you Deria," she said. "It was, if I recall correctly, our mother's middle name. How's that?" Mareep merely nodded. It seemed more focused on dozing than being named. Judith shrugged and looked back towards the station. Where on earth was her sister? {OOC: I don't think I godmodded by going to the fountain; it was mentioned in Philmaster's journey start...} |

((OOC: Actually, that still is godmodding, as how do you know which way is the center of the city? Also, it's fine to say that you're heading towards where you think the fountain is, but a mod could have something happen between where you are and where you want to go. But I'm going to let this pass this time. Just remember it please. =^.^= )) You actually heard some people talking together about the disappearing Pokémon, and you heard them say something about trainer's Pokémon. Perking up your little ears, you heard them say that it was a good thing that trainer's Pokémon appeared to not be affected. Well that is a very good thing, isn't it? That definitely suggests that your Pokémon will be perfectly safe with you, and that whoever is doing this only wants wild Pokémon. Maybe it really is an attempt by some villainous person to take over the world by building up a Pokémon army. Although, if that were the case, they would try to steal people's stronger Pokémon, wouldn't they? I guess that maybe I'm way off on this, although for all you know, I personally might know exactly what's going on. But do you think that if I did I'd be able to tell you? Anyways, you finally got to the fountain, although you didn't see your sister yet, which was okay. She was probably on her way, and as you said, it wouldn't be hard to spot her with her purple hair and all. However, after fifteen minutes went by, you couldn't help but wonder where she had gone to. I mean, she couldn't have arrived too long after you did, could she? Finally getting exasperated, you got up and decided to go look for her, taking large steps to try to go quickly. You eventually came out on a side street and saw Route One to your right, and looked to your left and found your sister. There was also a guy with her, who looked funny as he was dressed almost completely in orange. As a matter of fact, his denim jeans were the only things that weren't orange. Otherwise, his sweater, shoes, and hat were all orange, and he's also in his mid twenties. He looks like a pretty big guy, so it might be best to hurry over there to show him that your sister wasn't alone. ((OOC: You can now post in Philmaster's journey. That will be the journey for you guys to post in.)) |
