"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

The fisherwoman sneered at you as you made your slurs towards her, and she crossed her arms. Before you started sending out your Pokémon, she thought you weren't going to accept the battle and was about to return her Pokémon. However, you sent out all four of your own Pokémon, and added in Starly for some effect too. Eyes wide, the woman screamed out that you were being very unfair now and that this was against the rules. Frankly, even if she's right, I don't see anybody around to help her, do you? Your Pokémon, and Starly, attacked, all screaming out at the Pokémon before them, whom were also in fear. Each of this woman's Pokémon didn't know what to do and just closed their eyes, hoping that it would be over soon. The woman cried out, and when your Pokémon finished their attacks, she screamed and returned her Pokémon. But she wasn't done with you yet and took the bucket she had and swung it, clocking you full in the face. Something wet started to trickle down your face, and you realized it was blood, as she left a pretty big gash on your forehead. All in all, your Pokémon gain absolutely NO experience for this battle because of your COMPLETE lack of fairness. Even if she was somewhat rude, that doesn't mean you can maul her Pokémon like that and expect to be rewarded. You got a gash in your forehead to prove that, and before you could react, she kicked you right where it counts, bringing you to your knees. She then spun around, and her foot came around to smack you in the face, making you fall right into the river. Hope that you can feel good about this. |

Cody was in severe pain. If the lady hadn't walked away, he would have beat the holy hell out of her. Even if she was a woman, hitting him in the nuts was asking for it. He didn't mind the bucket. She was weak, and was pissed off. Understood. But striking him in the jewels? He returned his Pokémon and got off the ground. He dusted himself off, and let the pain fade away. He felt a little sick, as normal, but that was all. He looked around, and saw not much to do but search for water Pokémon in the river or check out the shack. He decided on the latter and headed for the old shack. It seemed it was probably a shop of some sort, but Cody was out of money. But a cheap shack like that, he might be able to slip a few things in his many various pockets before he lefft. Hopefully it was fishing suppplies. Even a string and hook would do. |

Walking into the small shack, you saw that there was a very good reason business wasn't doing so well. He had stuffed Corsolas, mounted Magikarp, and other various oddities that were crafted from dead Pokémon. Then again, he hadn't gotten any customers like you, and no that wasn't a compliment Sir Grim. But the owner didn't think you were crude or anything of the like, so of course he just glared at you, assuming you'd criticize him like the rest. As for whether or not you actually do that I can't say, because I'm not you and that's an action I can't put in. There were some fishing supplies though, a pole, some string, hooks, and there were even some bait to use. Granted, they were dead pieces of Pokémon like Spinarak and Ledyba, some smaller fish like Goldeen and Remoraid. You heard the owner of the shack spit, still staring at you, wondering what the hell you were still doing in his shop. Blinking for a minute, he must have decided that you could be a valuable customer, because he started walking towards you. And that would be when something very strange, very downright bizarre happened, and it could explain some of the recent happenings. An Alakazam appeared and grabbed the guy and teleported out of there with him, and it was so fast and sudden... could that be how the wild Pokémon were disappearing? Before you could make a decision on that, though, he appeared again and started running towards you, very fast. Well what do you think you should do, maybe just let him take you and see where you wound up, or fight him? He's pretty strong and could probably easily wipe your whole team out without so much as blinking, and then get hold of you. It might be better for you if you just let him take you and see where it was you ended up. ![]() Level 79 183/183 100%

Cody saw the various oddities in the guy's store and understood this guy's distaste toward him. It wasn't to him specifically, but to people in general. There were fishing supplies about and such though. He was about to make conversation with the shop owner before the Alakazam showed up though. It was quite powerful looking, and couldn't have been wild. It had a plan. Then the Alakazam came back, obviously for Cody. He couldn't take this psychic Pokémon. None of his Pokémon, even all put together, could take him. He knew he had a bit of time before the creature grabbed him, so Cody reached for the supplies. He would let the Alakazam take him, but not before trying to snag a fishing rod and some bait. Who knows when it could come in handy? He may need the rod for help as well. It could make a weapon as well as supply a reel and rod. AFter trying to grab these things and whatever else looked useful near him, he braced the STarly and waited for the Alakazam to teleport him. He may not have been able to grab anything, but maybe he did. Hopefully, it could be something to help him out of this mess. |
