Roy waited as his poke'mon were being healed and thought about how Tauros could be helpful. He would have to test out his battleing skills in his next battle. Finally Nurse Joy came back with his poke'balls. On his way out Roy spotted the news on the TV in the corner.

"There was a boy in town today who was, unknowingly, put into a movie and is now sueing for unlawful use of one's personal image." Roy thought it sort of hilarious that they didn't just ask the boy. Any child would love the chance to be a movie star. "In unrelted news, there is a hostage situation in Hurst that seems to be out of controll" Roy thought about it. He decided to go back into the meadow and look for some poke'mon anyway. Plus the fact that criminals usually have strong poke'mon and he was just starting out. Also, Roy never got the fact that when a villain was defeated in a poke'mon battle, that mans that he has to give up. Like, why can't he have a gun? if your poke'mon lose then you could just pull out a gun and still hold someone hostage, but nooo! They lose and go "Aww man, you defeated my poke'mon, even though I am still unharmed, you win..." Which makes no sense at all! Either way, Roy decided to go to the meadow and search for a Vulpix and, hopefully, a Bulbasaur as well.

Well, your idea of finding a Bulbasaur in theese freezing conditions was certainly optimistic of you. Grass types rarely show their head in the cold weather, then again, you wouldn't think a Vulpix would either. Who knows? Fire types should have the heat themselves to survive. However, due to experience I know the best Meadow around! It was slightly out of Tohea city, on the road to Hurst; Route 2.

On your way through the city you noticed a few dots of white flakes falling around you, the flakes began to get heavier, fall faster and more rapidly. SNOW! Wow, where I'm from it doesn't snow often, so lucky you! The sky was fairly grey, and now your vision was obscured by a white flurry, that wasn't going to stop you though. You kept your way going and began heading onto the path heading down to Hurst.

You took a long look down Route 2, it was magnificent. You could see the white flurry of snowflakes stretching on for miles, right down the route. The green grass began to take a white looking, everything was white. It was truely spectacular. Hmm, however this may mean finding Pokémon easier in a way! everything was white, so as soon as a different colour emerged you should be able to see them easier!

You began to treck into the long grass, the sheer cold touch was enough to make you shiver. You walked on for quite some time into the meadow, crossing your arms for warmth and trying to tuck your face into the top of your clothes. Still, it looked nice? Thats all I'd care about anyway... Just then a tail poked up from the white grass, a yellow and black tail with some sort of orb glowing at the top. As you took a few more steps closer, the Pokémon heared the crunch of the snow and popped its face up. It stared at you, not doing anything... Just staring you out. I presume because of its fluffy coat it is trying to stay still to camouflage itself. It obviously doesn't know how clever you are.

As Roy walked through the freezing cold forest his hopes of finding the poke'mon he wanted faltered. Neither Bulbasaur nor Vulpix liked to live in the cold and would, most likely, be hiding from the weather. But then he saw some movement in the distance. A small creature was jostling around in the snow. It's tail raised up and Roy saw that it was a Mareep. Not what Roy was looking for, but a good(ish) find none the less.

Roy wasn't planning on capturing it but it would give him a chance to give Tauros a run. Roy grabbed the poke'ball from his belt, with a *beep* the ball was enlarged and Roy threw out his poke'ball containing his Tauros. As Tauros was released it reared up its forelegs. Roy ran up to his Tauros, quickly but carefully. He just hoped that his Tauros was one of the few, none temperamental Tauros. "Hi Tauros... I'm Roy" He said as he slowly walked up to it.

The tauros simply looked at you and snorted while shaking its mighty head. It seemed to think that you were a strange human for running up, then slowing down to walk up to him. He seemed to be checking out the snow that had fallen everywhere. He seemed relaxed not very temperamental, but appearances could be deceiving. After all Tauros were by nature temperamental.

While you were making introductions to your apperently relaxed Tauros, other Pokémon were coming out to investegate the snow. From your vantage point you could see; level 7 :growlithe :male coming out of a small den. A level 5 :pikachu :female coming out of a small patch of trees. Last but not least a group of 2 level 5 :shinx :male and 3 level 5 :shinx :female playing around in the snow. Not to mention the :mareep :male level 6 that was currently trying to hide from you. The other Pokémon seemed to either not notice you or not care that you were there.

You could battle the mareep and try and catch one of the other Pokémon. Or you could leave the hiding mareep alone and go after one of the other Pokémon. Either way you seem to have time for 1 maybe 2 Pokémon battles before the rest scatter because of the fight(s). So what are you gonna do? There's so many choices here, and only one can be choosen. Oh well such is the life of a Pokémon trainer. You'll get a Pokémon, you'll lose a Pokémon. So what'cha gonna do... heck not even I know. All I can say is good luck.

While Roy was trying to make friends with his Tauros many other wild Pokémon came out to look at them. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a Growlithe, a Pikachu, and five Shinx come out to join the Mareep. Shinx were a good poke'mon to start out with and were said to be good for starting trainers to catch. Pikachu are the kind of poke'mon who's personalities differ ALOT between individuals and if he did go for it, Roy would have to hope he was lucky enough to catch it. Growlithe were very rare and hard to find and Roy was suprised that one would appear, especially in the snow like this. Pulling out his poke'dex he determined the levels of all of the poke'mon, Growlithe being the most powerful and the Pikachu and Shinx being the least.

Seeing that a it would be hard to find otherwise, and being a lover of all poke'mon fire and grass type(not to mention the fact that Growlithe and Arcanine were among his all time favorite poke'mon!), Roy decided to go for the Growlithe. Making a motion for his Tauros to look, Roy pointed out the Growlithe to it, he knew that a fire type Growlithe would be weak against his Squirtle, but he wanted to test out Tauros's battling skills, plus the fact that if hee used Squirtle right after bringing Tauros out of it's ball, it wouldn't put them on very good tearms. "Ok Tauros, time to get ready for your first battle" Roy said. His Tauros turned towards it's new opponent and seemed to get what he was saying, as it started to scratch it's hoof of the ground. "Alright Tauros, let's go! Use Tail Whip to start off and follow it up with a Tackle!" Tauros wasn't very experienced but Tauros by nature were very physicaly strong poke'mon, either way if Tauros wasn't able to do it, Squirtle would be able to finish the job and lower it's health low enough to capture.

So, you decide to pass up all of these electric types and go for the only fire type among them. I don't know if I would have made the same choice, but I am also partial to Shinx and Mareep for that matter. But, you like fire Pokémon so your choice is the logical one. Oh, and Growlithe spotted you making threats in his direction and stood on guard. There will be no sneak attacks on this pooch.

Your Tauros listens to your commands and follows through. You must be good enough in his eyes, or wants to see how you do as a trainer. He swung his three tails around in a rhythmic fashion, lowering his opponent's defense. Growlithe wasn't having any of this and ran forward, unleashing an Ember as he went. Most, ended up fizzling out with the snow, but a couple got through and singed his hair. Tauros was not happy and as such, charged in with a devistating Tackle attack. It caused some intense damage and Tauros was glad for it. Not so calm any more, is he?

That went well, but then, as you looked around, you saw the Pikachu and four Shinx disappear in an instant. Mareep only tried hiding that much more. Growlithe was too intent on your battle to notice. However, the last Shinx, one of the females, sat down and started crying. It wasn't soft crying either, but loud, mournful wailing. Heart-wrenching to say the least. Maybe you should try consoling her, or you can go on with your battle. The choice is up to you, but you couldn't help but think about what could have caused these Pokémon to simply vanish.

Roy was confused as to why the poke'mon would vanish like that maybe they hid...or maybe not. He was afraid of what could happen mid-battle to the Growlithe...or that poor baby Shinx...or even his Tauros! Roy didn't want that to happen to any of them...but growlithe was one of his all-time top favorite poke'mon...finally he decided he couldn't let that happen to any of them! He called back his Tauros, scooped up the baby Shinx and held it comfortingly in his arms(To worried to care wheather or not it shocked him) and ran towards the Growlithe, only to stop about five feet away.

Wait...He just attacked this Growlithe, why would it want to come wih him? It was staring at him and it seemed like it didn't want to be just scooped up like that Shinx. He wished it could speak human, Growlithe were smart and loyal creatures so he hoped it would get what he was saying. "Growlithe, I'm not here to hurt you..." He set down his empty poke'balls to renforce the point "I just want to help...Look what happened to your friends, you don't want that to happen to you do you?"

Shinx seemed to be soothed by you picking her up. She looked slightly uncomfortable at being held by a stranger but you had managed to console her none the less. She felt...safe with you around her. She began to cuddle your arms and snuggle herself in to keep herself warm. It looked like a certain electric puppy wanted to join your team now.

As you approached Growlithe began to growl at you. It was an angry growl. What vile trickery was this? Recalling your Pokémon to that ball contraption and now approaching him? Where you planning to attack him as well? He bared his teeth at you, not wanting you to approach him further. He acted tough but deep down, he was just scared, he was afraid.

You knelt down next to the fire dog and he growled at you again. You began explaining to him that you didn't want to hurt him. But how could he believe you when you had just attacked him? But being an animal that was usually around humans, he knew that your words were sincere and that you were one whom usually kept your word.

With that he trotted forwards and put his head onto your knees. He wanted to join your team too. Wow, you had certainly killed two birds with one stone here hadn't you? You didn't have to take these two Pokémon onto your team but they were willing to join you. All you needed to do was to get Pokeballs out and capture them.

When the Growlithe walked up to him, Roy was sure he was going to get burned, but he just layed his head on Roy's lap and wagged his tail. Roy was suprised when it came up to him and started petting it and his other new friend, Shinx. He picked up his three remaining poke'balls off of the ground and clipped one back to his belt. He took one of the other two and tapped it on the Shinx's head who was captured immediately. The other he tapped on Growlithe's head, that ball wiggled a little bit but then Growlithe realized what was going on and gave in.
Wow! The first poke'mon catch Roy has, and he gets two new poke'mon! How lucky was he!?

Anyway, Roy was heading towards Tohea city, since he was right outside of town, to heal his poke'mon. Roy clipped the two new poke'balls, now shrunken by the simple press of the button on the ball, two his belt next to the two other filled balls and the one empty one...Wait, one!? It suddenly struck him that he never bought extras and only had the three he had brought. Maybe he should head to the poke'mart two. But first of all, to the poke'mon center!

Note(s) to my next Ref:
-I am planning a trade with another trainer(Tyrant Rex) in Tohea City
-Just to clarify, I'm headed to the poke'mon center right now.

(Just to point out that it should be too instead of two in your last paragraph but don't worry too much, I’ll add your Pokémon to your profile aswell now.)

So now you had the two newest additions to your team and one of them was a Pokémon that you hugely sought after. It seemed that things were definitely working towards your favour in the world of Tohea. You began walking back to the center of the town to find the red roofed building that was the haven for every trainer, experienced or not.

After a few minutes you managed to find your way to find a small square with trainers walking through to get to the next town or their general destinations. Straight across from you was the center and conveniently enough next door to that was the Pokémart. It wouldn't take you long at all so this would speed things up for your trade in the VERY near future.

You went into the Pokécenter and handed over your 4 Pokeballs to the clerk behind the desk whom gave them back after swiftly depositing them in a small machine that glowed when the Pokeballs were inside. You clipped the spheres back to your belt and continued outside. You then went into the shop next door to the building you were just in.

The doors opened for you and you stepped inside, as with the center, the cold from outside was drowned out as the heat from inside impaired it. There were shelves and stacks of merchandise all around the shop. You could pick up what you wanted in the shop, there was a counter at the front of the shop waiting for you to pay. Go mad.

Roy looked around the store at what he could buy, there were many things. He saw poke'balls, greatballs, and ultraballs. There were also many kinds of repel. Some escape rope would be useful as a starting trainer. Potions could come in handy too. Roy took out his wallet and hung his head in dismay, only $300. He couldn't buy much with that.

He went up to the counter "Two poke'balls please" he said. "For here or to go?" said the man at the counter. "Wait, what?" replied Roy "Never mind" he said. The man handed him the poke'balls and Roy handed him the money. He looked around the shop for what else he could buy before heleft to go back to the poke'mon center. His future battles could use some potions but he wanted to keep some money with him. He decided just to leave for the door.

Roy Decided to go back to the poke'mon center to get some rest. Maybe he could find some other trainers there too.

Notes:
-I'm going to wait for someone, we are planning a trade.
-Please edit the purchase to my profile.

Once the transaction was made, which I already did in your Profile, you left the Pokémart and headed for the Pokémon Center. While there weren't any wild Pokémon about, there were a lot of people battling each other. It must be that that was the only thing that they could think of to do with themselves, which is kind of sad. Personally, I've always loved trainer battles, not just when there weren't any Pokémon to find. But now that there aren't any wild Pokémon to find anywhere, I'm kind of upset about that, 'cuz now I can't find any that I want.

Anyhow, you made it to the Pokémon Center without anything stopping you or the like. Entering the building, you saw people around the television set, and you could hear the news segment. They were talking about the current situation of wild Pokémon vanishing, which was bad enough. But besides that, you were lucky to find a Rattata in any sewers in Tohea or Hurst City, which was really bad. Looking around, it doesn't appear that anyone really has anything for you to do right now, but perhaps if you wait, someone may walk through the door.

((OOC: Yes, someone will have Ty Rex post in here to trade with you.))

{Continued from Rex's Journey}

Rex continued to walk toward the Pokémon Center to find someone to trade with. As he walked, he could hear some policemen running after him with their guns drawn. The policemen in charge told him to drop to his knees with his hands behind his back. Rex wasn't a bad trainer and he hasn't did anything wrong. He was however thinking about sending his Cthooloo out to do some damage to them. It was only a thought though. Suddenly a man arrived on the scene and screamed at that cop, telling him to let Rex go. This guy must of owned half of the city or something. "Thanks." He said before the man walked away. The trainer would soon get to know that guy but later on though.

When he finally got to the Pokémon Center he saw people around the tv set. Before thinking about it he knew it was about the Pokémon disappearing in the region. That's one of the reasons he returned to Tohea City. Instead of talking about the wild Pokémon they started talking about him. They were talking about how Rex clearly showed that trainers could have control over the alien Pokémon as easily as they do with the ones from Tohea. It was funny though how news spread across the city that fast, or maybe this wasn't their first time seeing a Cthooloo. It was probably their first time seeing a Cthooloo that was captured.

One trainer then caught his eye. Who knows, maybe he was looking for a Natu. There was only one way to find out though. Rex walked over to the trainer and smiled as he said, "Hi, I'm Rex Yuuta from Pallet Town.. Would you be intrested in a Natu?" Rex asked the trainer. He didn't know he was a trainer, but he was sure he was. Especially since he was in a Pokémon Center, so there wasn't really much doubt about it anyway.

Roy was watching the television to find out about why the poke'mon in the forest were dissapearing. There were many different people with many different opinions on the subject. There were a few that he heard some people say would make sense. One was that an alien poke'mon had arrived on earth(Roy had heard about this happening but he arrived in Tohea after it had ended) and since there were some trainers that were able to capture it, it's relatives on another planet were angry and were making poke'mion dissapear. Another was that this alien poke'mon(Named Cthooloo) was from another dimension and since some trainers caught them, the portal to the other dimension never closed and now some of our world's poke'mon were going to be teleported there to take Cthooloo's place in the other world.

Roy didn't think much of either of these and was waiting for another, more reasonable explination. There were many other theories, most of which were very dry and boring. After giving up Roy went and sat down. A Trainer then walked up to him and started to talk to him. "Hi, I'm Rex Yuuta from Pallet Town.. Would you be intrested in a Natu?" he said. This was very forward and very to the point. Roy thought about it for a minute and said "I'm Roy, what about a Tauros for it?"

Rex heard some things about the wild Pokémon disappearing. He didn't however hear about the stories people were telling about them disappearing. Most of the stories were probably not true and the trainers that told them probably didn't see it happen in person. Rex hasn't seen it either and personaly he didn't want to. The thoughts about the Pokémon disappearing started to fade as his attention went back to the trainer.

The other trainer looked about around the same age as Rex. He had brown hair, probably blue eyes, and white head ban own. Roy looked like a strong trainer, but never judge a book by it's cover. When he told him about a Tauros he just smiled. Tauros was one of the Pokémon he always wanted as a child. Without thinking he noded his head and smiled, "That would be great, and I really hope you're not with some type of Pokémon gang like Team Rocket. I want Natu to have a good trainer not a criminal... Maybe afterwards we could have a Pokémon battle." He said.
