"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

Welcome, newcomer, to the grand city of Wayford! The arrival may have been rough, what with the rocking boat and seasick travelers you were with, but the view was impressive indeed! All around you, there were marvels that you could only dream of back in your hometown in Kanto. After all, Wayford wasn’t considered a place of technological breakthroughs for nothing! The grand buildings were pure white, almost as if sculpted out of marble! Now, how did they manage that, eh? Stepping away from the bustling port, you perhaps felt a little at home in this section, what with Vermillion having a large harbor of their own. But, the farther you strayed, the more the place seemed alien to you. It was to be expected, of course, but perhaps those few moments brought on a little homesickness? Even if you were considered a legend in your hometown, you were just an average Joe here, a nameless face among citizens who had lived here their entire lives, and trainers who were older than you were. No matter, there were more pressing things at hand. Such as finding new Pokémon partners to help you find your missing family, and there were gyms here just like everywhere else! The possibilities were staggering, but your stomach announced that it had its own needs as well. You felt a little flustered as a few passersby gave you and your loud stomach a curious glance. Deciding to move away from that spot, you traveled along the docks for just a bit longer, noticing people selling many varieties of fish and sea vegetation. Maybe this place made good sushi. It was about then that you glanced to the seashore and noticed a little kid, about the same age as you when you started Pokémon schooling, trying to teach his Krabby how to use Bubblebeam. Well, that was a pretty advanced attempt for the little guy, and all the Krabby seemed interested in doing was foaming little harmless bubbles out of its mouth. It didn’t seem too thrilled with this kid. So, what are you going to do first? Find a place to eat, help this kid with his Krabby, look for your own Pokémon, or something else? |

Arra was just walking around the port, not knowing what to do. He took out Onix's pokeball and clicked the button. A blood-red beam shot out, revealing a white figure at Onix's height. Onix broke through the albino white figure. Onix roared then coiled next to Arra. "What do you want to do Onix?" Arra asked. "On. (I don't know.)" Arra looked at the visible spots of the city from his spot. He then saw a small boy with a Krabby. Arra walked over to the boy and krabby. "Looks like your having some trouble with your Krabby." Arra started. "Maybe I could help." |
