"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

Determined Trainer

As you walked along the streets of Tohea you and your Pinsir decided to take a break on the beach. The beach was filled with a few trainers. A few krabbys moved around the sand clapping their claws and pinching people. Your Pinsir enjoyed the beach but didn't want to get to hot so he decided to sit in shade under an umbrella. You could feel the ocean breeze blow through your hair. As you walked along the beach you didn't realize a krabby was sneaking up on you. The Krabby pinched your toe before scattering and jumping into the water. "Kookie kookie kookie!" You could no longer see the krabby in sight. It disappeared into the salty water. After taking care of your toe you sat down on the beach in front of your Pinsir. Your Pinsir found a water bottle in the sand. It began digging in the sand and pulled the bottle out. He handed you the bottle and clipped his pincers. "Pince pince pince!" Just then a Magikarp jumped out of the water and landed in your lap. "Karp karp karp Magikarp!" You thought about it. Take care of it, let it in the ocean or kick it. Just as you were about to make a choice a trainer stopped in front of you. "Holding a dumb and obnoxious Magikarp? Some trainer you are. Who wants a Magikarp. Real trainers have strong Pokémon. My Pokémon could take on your weak Pinsir right there!" His Heracross was standing next to him. "Bring it dude!" ![]() Level 6 37/37 100% ![]() Level 5 35/35 100%

T.R. smiled and got up, ignoring the obnoxious trainer completely and walked slowly over to the ocean. He bent down and could see all the way down to the sea floor the water was so clear. T.R. placed the Magikarp into the water, and watched as it swam away, until it was out of T.R.'s field of vision. T.R. turned to the trainer and his Heracross, they actually looked like a pretty good matchup for him and his Pinsir. "So Bug vs. Bug huh? Alright but not here" T.R. led the other trainer across the beach. He had the perfect place in mind, away from all the other people. After walking for what seemed like hours T.R. stopped. He realized that the other trainer was getting restless. "This is it" T.R. looked around this was where he had seen that Pokémon all them years ago and he could think of no better place to have his first Pokémon battle. He closed his fists and gripped them tightly, "I'll see you again someday... but for now let's get it on Pinsir!" The powerful bug Pokémon stepped up in front of his new trainer with a pensive expression on it's beetle like face. T.R. turned his attention to the back of Pinsir's head as he thought up his battle strategy, *Let's see what you can do, I remember something on T.V. when a Pinsir used a super powerful move, what was it? Giyotin? No that wasn't it, Oh yeah, Guillotine!!* "Pinsir use your Guillotine attack!" T.R. yelled at Pinsir. The Pinsir took one step then realized he knew no such move and a sweat drop appeared down the back of it's head. "Okay, so maybe you don't know that move yet." T.R. took out his Pokedex and looked at Pinsir's Movelist Vicegrip was high on the list in fact it was the first move on the list, Pinsir had to know this move. "Alright Pinsir, let's try your Vicegrip!" Pinsir nodded and pounced directly at Heracross head first... |

I didn't actually know where the hell you led the trainer and his Pokémon to, but from the way you said "catch them Pokémon all them years ago", I gave a wild guess and thought of a regular battlefield somewhere near the edge of a forest and made it the terrain you and the trainer battled on. If you were thinking of someplace else, you should have spoken up. "Tch, you call this an arena? Suckling onto these kinds of places won't get your Pinsir anywhere, dude." The guy stated this in a curtsy fashion and ordered his Heracross out towards Pinsir with a sleight of hand. Heracross and Pinsir both collided at the center of the grassy plain and began wrestling it out teeth clenched and claws gripping tight onto each other. Heracross scrunched up his face into a Leer that could have pierced through the soul of any Pokémon, but your Pinsir had a stronger will than most Pokémon and saw through Heracross' trick and clamped onto his horn with a large amount of pressure. The Heracross tried to force Pinsir off by struggling a few whips but Pinsir's horns were sturdy and hung on. The Heracross got very annoyed and flashed his eyes and started glowing in an eerie black aura. Pinsir was gaping with utter surprise but his pincers still clamped onto his adversary's horns. That is until Heracross swiped a Night Slash at him at an alarming rate which made Pinsir flinch and step backwards, releasing his hold onto his enemy. "See that? That was the epic powers that my Heracross possesses. You know that Heracross has been officially labeled as Pinsir's supreme? I guess that you can already see the effects of that quote sinking into your Pinsir now." That attack was crucially amazing, but you hadn't the time for observing impressive attacks for too long. You had to win so you and your Pinsir could get on with life without having that guy tagging along. Level 5 ![]() 24/35 89% Level 6 ![]() 28/37 90%
