With a nod and a wheezy grunt, the clerk nodded yes and allowed you to heave the box onto the shelf while he regained his breath. While you were doing this, he had picked up the Shuckle and taken it to the counter; uncorking the corks stuck in the thing's holes, he started pouring a sweet-smelling berry juice into some bottles before corking these and putting them on another nearby shelf. His work done, he smiled and recalled the Shuckle to his Pokeball. "Thanks, young man," the older guy said with a smile, calculating and receiving the correct money for the things you wanted. "I'm not as strong as I used to be. I have a proper name, but most people call me Doc. I earned that nickname when I started selling healthy Berry Juice to the locals." Interesting history indeed, but not anything of importance to you. "Wait a minute...," he said as you turned to leave. Curious, he took out a Pokeball from his pocket and handed it to you. "I don't know if you can make any use out of this, but I want you to have this Pokémon as a thank-you for your help." He then went on to explain that it had been injured and had allowed him to catch it and heal it at the Pokémon Center. Sadly, Doc didn't have room in his arsenal for such a Pokémon, nor a use for it. He said that he had given up battling for years, and only used Pokémon that he deemed useful enough to help run the Pokémart. But what was this Pokémon? In a flash of light, a young Ralts appeared, yawning and shaking his head. Upon seeing you, he smiled pleasantly and took a liking to you at once. "Ralts!" Well, how about that, two psychic Pokémon in one sitting. This doesn't happen often, does it? Then again, you could politely decline this offer if you didn't really want it. The choice was yours. Doc seemed like a nice guy, so I doubt that he's trying to bait you with anything. Lv. 10

Blaze picked up the heavy box for the elderly clerk, while heavy he managed to put it on the shelf. 'Thank goodness that I practically lived on my grandparent farm. All that training honed my strength and that.' He thought to himself, as the elderly clerk talked about stuff. After paying for the 6 pokeballs, 1 escape rope, and potion, he started to turn to leave. He turned to face the elderly clerk, because he had asked him to wait. The elderly person gave him a pokeball saying that he had no real use for the Pokémon that it held. The pokeball opened up and revealed a ralts, who yawned and shaking its head. Blaze took a liking to the ralts, considering it was his second psychic Pokémon. "Ello there, welcome to the team." He said as he returned the ralts to his pokeball. He placed the pokeball on his belt next to the other 3 pokeballs. "Thank you, Thank you very much. I'll treat the ralts very well." He said almost shaking with joy because of getting a second psychic Pokémon. He waved good bye as he left the Pokémart, he noticed that it was still rather light outside. 'Enough time to go wander around the city to look for Pokémon.' He thought as he wandered away from where thief had his lair. Not knowing what Pokémon he might find, or what type of adventure he might find himself on. All he knew was that tomorrow he had to get to Kadaraa Lake. He couldn't figure out exactly why yet, but he wanted to get 1 more Pokémon. He also wanted an early start tomorrow to head to the lake. (please add ralts to my profile.) Running about the city in the dusk of day, Blaze didn't seem to find anything particularly interesting. But really, what's interesting once you're getting a free ralts? Moving along in the twilight-like time, the trainer searched for possible Pokémon targets, but really didn't spot much. No, not much until he spotted something that was rather interesting. Right in front of Blaze was actually something quite interesting to witness. Three dusk-black birds were in the street, two of them throwing shots at each other, and the third just kind of relaxing up against a silver garbage can. The two who seemed to be fighting must have been doing it for play, because they weren't really taking too much damage, or doing too much to each other. But still, something like this was cool to witness. For the most part, the birds didn't notice Blaze, or maybe they just didn't care that he was here. (hahahah. that's like the shortest ref I've ever done...plz don't stone me D:) x3 L5

Blaze groaned as he walked through the town. He didn't find any other Pokémon around. He noticed something rather interesting. 2 bird Pokémon seemed to be play fighting with each other, and the third one seemed to be sitting around on a garbage can. 'Isn't this interesting. I might not have much use for all 3 of them, but having 2 extra might come in handy.' He thought as he got out his poketech to check them out. Murkrow the darkness Pokémon. It is believed that seeing this Pokémon at night will bring about ominous occurrences. It is said to carry misfortune. It appears near travelers to lure them into deep forests. 'How interesting. I'm not scared of a few bird Pokémon.' He thought as he got; Soulster, Dracos, Rocky, and Cuddles out of their pokeballs. He sat down and made himself comfortable, as he watched the 2 Pokémon play-fight. After a few moments he started clapping at them. "Bravo, you 2. You 3 want to try your strength against 3 of my Pokémon" Blaze said as he pointed to Starly, Bagon, and Solrock. "If you 3 win, you each get a can of pokefood. If you 3 lose, you 3 get captured. However you 3 will get a constant source of food." He said getting out 3 cans of pokefood. Blaze watched as Starly, Bagon, and Solrock got ready for a battle. Both Starly and Bagon seemed rather excited to be battling. He couldn't figure out what Solrock was thinking, but he assumed Solrock was excited. All he could do was wait for the Murkrows to decide on what to do. |

As the trainer sat down to observe the battle, and release his Pokémon out, the murkrow got a very puzzled look about their faces. They seemed to be used to humans being around, but one just stopping and sitting down like this was a casual entertainment or something? Murkrow number three (the one not fighting) rose up, looking at the other two. "Krow, krow" It stated, the other two birds nodding in unison. Although Blaze's offer of a never ending food supply seemed nice, it seemed as if they weren't going to be caught that easily. The two birds that had been sparring took battle positions, extending one wing out ward, and folding the other as a shield over their chests. The other bird who seemed to be in charge fluttered into the air, flapping its wings around. This one seemed like it wasn't going to take anything from a human, or his followers. "Krow!" He shouted, probably some sort of battle cry. It seemed like this would be a fun battle after all. All three of Blaze's Pokémon were spread out on the field, much matching the formation the birds had made. Starly to the left, Bagon on the right, and Solrock hovering in the sky above the two in a the triangle formation. It seemed as if the Murkrow were going to make the first moves. Well, here it goes~ Flapping his large wings, the lead Murkrow slapped out a current of wind right toward Blaze's trio. The swift strike was completely un-dodge able, especially in this cramped space. Starly and Bagon seemed to be buffed by the gust, but Solrock had made no reaction to it, so it was hard to tell if he was phased by it or not. As soon as the gust stopped, both of the other Murkrow had swiftly positioned themselves right in front of the Pokémon that stood on the opposite side as them. A dual attack was in order, both Murkrow slapping into their opposing foes with a duo-pursuit. Both Starly and Bagon were once again caught off guard. Heh. This battle seems like it's going to take a bit more than launching a few attacks to win. L6 26/37 88% L4 21/33 88% L7 36/39 95%====== ====== L5 35/35 90% (^) L5 35/35 89% (<) L5 35/35 89% (>)

Blaze grinned as the 3 dark type birds got int formation similar to his Pokémon. He kinda of frowned when they took first attack, but he knew that if rough was what they wanted. Rough was what they were gonna get. "Okay here's the plan you 3. Soulster I want you to use powerful gust attacks on the 3 murkrows, also I want you to quick attack the murkrow on the left. Dracos I want you to headbutt the murkrow on the right, also use a powerful tackle attack. Try and dodge the pursuit attack. Rocky I want you to use harden, then tackle the murkrow in the center. Please try and becareful." Blaze said believing in his Pokémon. Blaze knelt down next to Ralts and placed on the Ralts head. "Don't worry I'll make sure you get to be in the next fight. I just don't want to have you hurt in this one. These Murkrow look like they mean business." He said giving the ralts a gentle hug. He looked up at his Pokémon as they got ready to attack the murkrow. "Becareful you 3, stick to the plan. If the murkrow change plans, then feel free to change the plans to match. Just don't do anything dangerous. I believe in all of you." He said with full confidence that they would be victorious. He only hoped that his plan would work as well as he thought it would. |

Taking in their trainer's battles plans, the trio of Pokémon get right to work in doing exactly as his trainer wished. Each of them had determination, and it seemed that's what was going to be needed in this match. Slightly different from the other bird's attack, the allied bird, Soulster, began to flap up a pretty meager gust. His wings happened to be slightly smaller, and it seemed that being in this cramped space, it was hard for him to use his full wingspan. Despite the difficulties, the bird was able to dish out a nice gust right toward the enemies. As the wind energy sailed across the ground, both Murkrow who were once on the ground also took flight, right next to the one who seemed to be in the lead. Gust was easily evaded, but that didn't stand true for Quick Attack. Unable to even think fast enough of what to do, the murkrow that was directly across from Soulster on the left quickly fell to the ground, shuddering in a bit of pain. Soulster flew over head, trying to make an escape, but the other two birds didn't so interested in that. They both flew in and trapped Soulster in between them, taking turns pecking out the poor little bird. Watching the birds up in the sky attack, Dracos felt he needed to help, and was going to. The little Bagon had about a six foot runway before having to jump into the headbutt attack he was going to use. In a speedy flash, the little dragon raced down the runway, giving it all he got when it came time to jump into the air. For a split second, he felt like he was actually flying. Time seemed to freeze, or at least for Dracos. The little guy felt so accomplished an- And then the Murkrow who was on the left, also on the ground, took a speedy dash right toward Dracos, flanking him with Astonish. When the bird had slammed his beak into the little Bagon, it completely lost focus, and fell right to the ground in a flinch. Lucky for Soulster, this was more entertaining to the birds than pecking away at the little starly. Both the birds began to literally laugh at Dracos, landing on the ground so they could use their feathers to laugh and point. Meanies. >:( Rocky began to glow a metallic-gold color, bracing its stone body for impact. At this point, all the enemy birds were on the ground, laughing, but the center one quickly straightened them out, getting the birds back into position. Rocky took this chance, and was able to nail the enemy good. Moving as fast as a rock can, the Lunatone amazingly closed right in on the Murkrow, but didn't stop there. It collided its body right into the enemy, sending it down out of the sky. The cronie Murkrows that were once at their leaders side swooped down to the bird, trying to help him back up. Of course, the bird was resilient to help, and actually shouted out at them. "Idiots! Attack him while he's close!" Taking the orders of their leader, both birds flew up, both using pursuit on Rocky, who was retreating back to his side of the field. Teaming up, they both smacked into the opponent, dealing minimal damage, but denting him none-the-less. This battle was getting heated, and it seems like a little more than just orders were going to be needed to win this one. (Shouldn't Rocky have a +1 to defense? Just a question because I had him use Harden. That and Rocky is a Solrock not a Lunatone. Just thought i'd point that out.) Blaze growled slightly, his plan worked well. But the 3 birds adapted to it to quickly, he needed a quick change in plans. He watched them make fun of his Pokémon, if that whats their strategy then 2 could play that game. "Okay guys... a quick change in plan. Soulster use peck on the Murkrow in the center, then use quick attack on the Murkrow on the right. Dracos use headbutt on the Murkrow in the center, then follow through with a skull bash on the Murkrow on the right. Rocky I want you to use powerful tackle attack on either the Murkrow in the center or the Murkrow on the right. I then want you to follow through with a powerful body slam on the Murkrow on the right. I want you 3 to becareful, I know its hard because we're in an alleyway. But I believe in you, you 3 can win. If the Murkrow attempt to dodge or attack, feel free to change direction or attack to suit the change. Just remember to try and dodge their attacks." He said confidently, although he was worried about his Pokémon. He knew that he could change out any of them for Ralts, but that would be breaking the rules that he told the Murkrow. "Don't worry Ralts, we'll win somehow. I'm confident in that." He told Ralts, as he watched his Pokémon get ready for the next round of battle. |

Orders locked in, your Pokémon started moving around the alley. Starly started off by flapping higher into the air. Bagon moved along the ground towards the Murkrow in the center, ready to use head butt when he reached close enough, Solrock floated along behind, ready to attack as well. Starly stopped its upward motion and started flying down towards the center Murkrow, its beak glowing bright white. Murkrow looked up at the last second, having unfortunately been focusing on your Bagon, and noticed your Starly an instant before the two birds collided. Starly hit Murkrow in the center of its back, and then started flapping to try and regain its balance. The center Murkrow flapped wildly as it caught itself a foot above the ground and glared up at your Starly, only to receive a head butt in the center of its chest by your Bagon, and an instant later a tackle from Solrock as it gets hit in the head. The Murkrow flaps for a second, before collapsing as it faints. The other two Murkrow gasp then glare at you and your Pokémon. The one on the left starts cawing, creating an almost melodic sound that resonates throughout the entire area. Your Pokémon start to look a bit panicked, and start attacking the Murkrow on the right, only to receive a blast from a powerful whirlwind, which blew both the Bagon and the Solrock into the unfortunate Murkrow on the left, sending them crashing in a heap on the ground. Starly, on the other hand, manages to swoop around the whirlwind and slams hard into the right Murkrow using quick attack. Well that round had gone better, one of those annoying birds were knocked out, might as well catch it while it’s there, but what was that weird attack the Murkrow on the left had used? It obviously made your Pokémon uneasy, might as well consult the Poketech for information. Blaze grinned as one of the murkrow went down, but he also knew what that song was. A quick check of the poketech confirmed his Suspicion. It was Perish song, a move that could faint all Pokémon who heard it within 3 rounds. He hadn't suspected that one of the murkrow had it. This called for him to up the ante, and change the plan yet again. "Okay now that we have one murkrow down, lets try the plan this way. Soulster I want you to use a powerful tackle on the Murkrow on the left, and then use another powerful tackle on the Murkrow on the right. Dracos I want you to skull bash the Murkrow on the left, and then use another skull bash on the Murkrow on the right. Rocky I want you to use confusion and try and move several objects towards the 2 remaining Murkrows. If that doesn't work then just Body slam the Murkrow on the left, then body slam the Murkrow on the right. And remember to becareful, and Cuddles return." He said as he returned the Ralts back to his pokeball. He was nervous now, these Murkrow were smart. Really smart, he hoped that he would be able to faint them before the 3 rounds where up. 'Oh well at least I tried. That and my Pokémon did their best' He thought as he watched his Pokémon get ready to go into this round. As nervous as they were, he was confident that they could win. Perish song or not, he hoped those Murkrow would become part of his team. He also got 3 pokeballs ready just in case. One couldn't be to careful, but one could always take the chance. All he hoped was that his Pokémon did their best, and his plan worked. |

Having received their orders, Soulster was the first to move, soaring off towards the left-hand Murkrow. Dracos followed suit, closely proceeding Soulster with his own attack, his head tucked, ready for impact. Still off in the back near you, Rocky began searching for a good-sized object or two to launch at the two Murkrow. As Soulster neared his first target, he tucked his wings and began to corkscrew the rest of the distance, smashing into the first Murkrow, catching it squarely in the head, then looped back around, diving down at the other Murkrow, slamming into its back. However, the second Murkrow had seen Soulster a split second before impact, giving it just enough time to shift to the side slightly, causing Soulster to glance off its flank and land hard on the ground, skidding to a stop. As this went on, Dracos was already nearing the first, slightly dazed Murkrow, lunging forward and slamming into it with his head. As he drove through the first Murkrow - which feel to the ground, knocked out cold - he slid around, heading straight for the second Murkrow, who was completely unaware of his presence. Tucking his head once more, Dracos plowed into his second target, driving through it as well and coming to a stop next to Soulster, who was now getting slowly back on his feet. Lastly, still searching for some kind of projectile weapon, Rocky decided to resort to the backup plan. Racing towards the remaining Murkrow, Rocky scooped up the Murkrow and began its ascent. However, the second Murkrow had been expecting this, turning its body in a way so that it could drive back down at Rocky, reversing its own move against it. As the Murkrow drove them back down, Rocky slammed into the cement, a much bigger impression now present. The second Murkrow, slightly dazed from the two attacks it had endured before and the force of slamming Rocky down into the ground, now attempted to remain aloft, unable to do so as it came slowly and unstably back down towards the ground, landing and wobbling dizzily on the spot a little before falling over, knocked out as well. Well, this was quite the finish to a battle. It would appear that you just bagged yourself a few Murkrow. (Just a note to add in the exp and the Pokémon to my profile... I'd do it myself but um it would be extremely frowned upon me to do so.) Blaze looked on as his Pokémon duked it out with the murkrow. He was hoping that he could catch the 3 Pokémon, but he knew they were smart and possibly helpful. He grinned as the last murkrow fainted onto the ground. He cheered and gave all of his Pokémon a huge hug, and patted them on the back. "Congratulations you 3, you all did a great job out there. I'm very proud of you." He said with pride. He looked over at the fallen Murkrow, he kinda of felt sad about catching them. They battled extremely well, but the conditions were conditions. He picked up the 3 pokeballs he had placed somewhere and throw them at the 3 fallen murkrow. 'A promise is a promise. I promise to take good care of you. If i can't then i promise to find good trainers who will.' He thought, as he watched the pokeballs go at the murkrow. He knew what he had to do now, first he had to go to the Pokécenter for the night. Then he was going to head off to route one for Pokémon training, and to head to Hurst. Yes tomorrow was going to be a great day for an adventure, that is as long as he didn't get into any more trouble. |

Lvl. 5 was Caught! Lvl. 5 was Caught! Lvl. 5 was Caught!Starly gained 50 !Bagon gained 60 !Bagon leveled up to level 5! Bagon has 20 leftover.Solrock gained 45 !Now that your experience has been recieved and Bagon has a new move, you are ready for tomarrow! But first, off to the Pokécenter, to heal your wounds. Blaze moved quickly to the Pokécenter, the sooner the better for Blaze's newly caught Murkrow need to recover before your trip tomorrow. Blaze walked swiftly but calmly through the doors of the Pokécenter, the familar jingle rings to announce your entrance. Trainers walked and talked about, the coming night brings many trainers into the Pokécenter to rest for the night, like a free Inn. Of course, they only provide a cot and food, but its better than nothing when you've been spending days outside. Blaze walked up to the counter, handed his pokeman to the Nurse, and got them back refreshed and ready to go. Blaze fed his Pokémon and took a cot, sleeping as soon as he layed down. Blaze woke up, refreshed and ready to go. Before heading out though, Blaze had some breakfast and listened to the latest gossip and news thats going around. As blaze listened, two things came to light. First, a few trainers were complaining about a berries sold from a shady dealer. These berries look just like Lum Berries, but apparently they just poison your Pokémon instead! The Shady Dealer is supposed to have been in Bastion City, but he recently moved his operation to Hurst. The other interesting thing was that there was another con artist, but this one dealing in fake Master Balls. Selling them for large prices, but considerably lower than a real Master Ball is worth, they don't work like they are supposed to, and don't guarantee your catch. This guy is supposed to be in Wayford city, the way Blaze wasn't planning on going. Now, Blaze is standing outside of the Pokécenter. The fresh smell of the riverside air and the bustle of Tohea City was around him, a center of trade in Tohea. Will Blaze continue his plan, and go to the dirty and shady city of Hurst, or will he change direction and head towards Wayford City, the peaceful and relaxing city? Blaze sighed as he finished up his breakfast, and listened to the local gossip. Mostly rubbish type stuff, he really didn't care to much. All he knew was that he needed to get to Hurst, if the guy was still there when he got there. Then he'll deal with the person then, til then he was off and going. 'Today feels like a great day.' He thought as he made sure that everything was in order in his backpack. He looked up and grinned as he left the Pokécenter to begin the long journey to Hurst. He let out all 6 of his Pokémon for fresh air and some walking exercise. He carried Cuddles because he wasn't sure if the Ralts could keep up with him. He put Dracos in his backpack so that he wouldn't feel left out in the carrying process. He felt Soulster and the 2 murkrow land on his shoulders and his cap that he wore. Rocky just floated along on his right as he walked through the streets. "Ready everyone? We're on our way to Hurst! What awaits us there is adventure." He said as his Pokémon nodded with grins or what passed for them. Blaze walked through the streets heading for Route 1 and Hurst. What adventures awaited him? He didn't know, but what he did know was that he was gonna be ready for them. |

As you strode through the streets of Tohea, it was apparent that something odd was going on, you turned around. Behind you were two women, one had short white hair and the other had long black hair, other than that they looked exactly the same in their grey jumpsuit-like clothing with buttons stretching from the collar bone all the way down to the crotch. These strange women were smiling wickedly "Looks like we have been found out Kyra" said the white haired one, the black hair one which was obviously Kyra turned to face her. "Seems that way darling Kiara" she said, her hand slipped to her waist, they had a pokeball each fastened there "Do you think that we should show him who we are sister?" Kyra said to Kiara. With that they both whipped their pokeballs into the air but did not open them "We are the Tohea sisters!" they called in perfect unison "We were sent by our master to invite you over for lunch, she is expecting you". With that they held their hand out to the left, looking over you saw that you were in front of a rather quaint building coated in black paint. From a window high on a balcony there wafted a scent of various herbs and berries, they seemed to call to you. The two woman were behind you pushing you in the direction of the house, they had moved so swift and silently that you did not notice them. "Mistress Grace really does insist that you attend, no one wishes to upset her this day" Kyra said to your right, "Oh no dear sister, accidents happen to those who disobey her ladyship" came Kiara's reply on your right. You becane to think who this Grace really was. Is she a crime lord? Is she a wealthy outcast? So many things could be awaiting you within this three story residence. The sisters stopped pushing you a metre from the door and then moved to stand on either side of it "Please enter, you and your companions are welcomed in the household so long as you do not anger her ladyship" said Kirra. The door opened, and inside you saw nothing but a hall and a staircase, "Come in" a sensual voice echoed. Pass. Edited by Cupix [Shad], Aug 16 2008, 11:57 PM.
