It's always wonderful to see young people taking interest in keeping the tradition of traveling to distant lands and islands with their Pokémon alive. It's a small thing to everyone to have a new trainer coming to a small town or a huge metropolis to start their newfound lives as trainers, but you have a goal at hand that you want to fulfill. If that's you, then welcome to the vastly known island of Tohea, or the main portion of Tohea anyways. The reason I say the main portion is because of the fact that Tohea is both the name of the island's capital and the island itself. If you've already read your history, then you should already know about the massive earthquake that made the two seperate divisions: Amaer and Tilinity. But since I haven't studied up as well as others have, I can only suggest that this is fact. Go to a museum or something if you want some truth in this. Anyways, you are here to embark on a great quest that may or may not make you famous, right? A city isn't always the best place to start, but it should be crawling with Pokémon as long as you keep your eyes peeled. The sewers are most likely where you're going to find most of them, but you don't need to think about that unless you're looking for some nasty bottom-dwelling Pokémon. It's near noon right about now and most of the city-folk would be out at lunch or on the streets running to some fast food places. But haven't you already had lunch back on the ferry? Don't waste time filling yourself up again when this is a utmost perfect opportunity to catch Pokémon without having a high chance of anyone or anything interfering. The roads and streets are still bustling but not as much as it usually would be. Now that sidewalks are clearing up, it's easier to find Pokémon without having to chase after it through gap after gap of people. Luckily you won't need to move much to find your first afternoon prey. Running up the street sidewalk was a frilly, pink dog with a t-bone clamped in it's jaws. No one was chasing after it but the mutt was definitely another stray thief in need of nourishment. It was nearing you and practically rushing with maxed effort. Care to take it under wing? Lv. 5

Kiyoshi could see the little dog in the pink dress run like the wind. He couldn’t figure why he was running so fast, but figured that he could use a rest. Kiyoshi quickly pulled some delicious Pokémon food from his backpack and kept it in his hand. Kiyoshi then closed up his back and knelt down to almost eye level of the running dog. His hand was held open exposing the Pokémon food. Kiyoshi smiled and waited to see if he could get the little dog in a dress to stop and take a break with him. While he waited for quickly approaching dog Kiyoshi tried to take a look at his Poketech for some ID on the Pokémon. However that became very difficult with only one hand available. He soon gave up and waited on the pooch to see if he could take a break and chow down on the pokefood or just ignore him and speed right by him. No big loss if he sped by him, he wouldn't blame him for doing something like that. He was a wild Pokémon and he was an unknown trainer, things like that were bound to happen. |

]The Snubbull was pumping his hind legs at a mild pace until he noticed your hands extend with a small pile of Grade-A Pokémon snacks laying on it. His first thoughts about going in and eating more food besides his t-bone was Why does that human have yummy snacks in his hands? Unless... I was meant to eat it! The dog argued with himself about whether or not he should confront you and take your grub or just get into an alleyway and eat his t-bone. He chose your food, of course, without another doubt, placed his t-bone steak done gently, and then gobbled down whatever you had in your palms. After a minute or two of devouring slightly off-pitch imitation Pokémon snacks, the Snubbull heaved a sigh of gratitude and bowed his head with both of his paws rested on his stomach. Inside the dog's head, he decided Maybe this human will be able to supply me with food instead of this dump dinner. I sure hope so. So the pink mutt softly tugged your pants and whimpered something. He really wanted more food, but he also wanted to join you on whatever you were doing. It wasn't a Pokémon battle, but a new partner is always a good start. Just have your pokeball capture the dog and you'll be set. Remember, the Pokémon center and the Pokemarts aren't far from here since this is where most trainers should be. If you chose to keep the dog, you might as well do some purchasing in the shopping district or finding some Pokémon to battle with. Who knows, but now that you have a new friend, it would always be nice to do everything with it so you two could get better acquainted. Now I'm just rambling on. Bye, now. |

Kiyoshi was pleased with the fact that the pink dressed dog chose to stop by and eat. This was a great start to his new adventure. After the food was cleaned off Kiyoshi’s palm both his hands were free and he was finally able to use his poketech. He pushed some buttons and was able to ID the dog in the dress. It so happened to be a Snubbull the Fairy Pokémon. Kiyoshi looked back to him to see him bowing as if to thank him for the food. “Your welcome little guy.” Kiyoshi chuckled and was about ready to leave. He was stopped when the Snubbull tugged his pant leg. It was possible that he wanted more food, but Kiyoshi thought he would go back to chewing on its T-Bone. He looked down at the Snubbull. Kiyoshi remembered that he found him running like the wind moments ago. Didn’t he have somewhere to be? “Hey, whats wrong? Don’t you have anywhere to go? It looked like you were in a rush a moment ago. If you don’t have a place to go why don’t you join me?” Kiyoshi took out of his empty pokeballs. By pressing on the circle in the middle it enlarged. He held it out towards the Snubbul in hopes of it joining his team. |

Wow, you were just about to get the easiest catch in Tohea. The small pink dog smiled, barked and nodded at the same time, looking at you with happy eyes. It palmed the button on the pokeball you held out and let the red light consume it inside the pokeball. The pokeball began to juggle and nudge in your hand until it finally stopped. Congratulations, you now how a second Pokémon without trying! Before you could even think of doing anything else, the Snubbull quickly popped out of the pokeball again and faced you smiling. Its smile was then wiped off and it tugged at your pants once more and began pointing behind it, seeming as it wanted you to follow it. As it quickly trotted along infront of you, you began to notice it was dragging you into what seemed to be a darker part of town. The buildings were grey, the sky was covered in smoke from nearby factories. And many buildings were on the brink of falling down themselves. Your Snubbull stopped and then looked at you, pointing towards a small group of Pokémon around a burning bin. A grimer and a Koffing looked at you, then at Snubbull, and back at you, now glaring evily and chanting there names angrily. Snubbull took your leg and hid behind it as the two poison Pokémon began moving towards you, eyeing up Snubbull. Lv. 6 Lv. 5

It didn’t take Kiyoshi much time to figure out that these two were trouble. They were probably bullying Snubbull; in fact these two were probably the ones he was running from. It just made Kiyoshi sick to his stomach. He wasn’t going to let anything happen to Snubbull. “Hmph. You guys got a problem with him? I’m sorry to tell you that he’s my Pokémon now and if you want to fight I’m just going to have to even up the playing field. Lets go Daisuke!” Kiyoshi tossed the up his pokeball and out came the familiar white light. From the light formed Kiyoshi’s partner Pokémon that he started his journey with. The light had faded and there was a Taillow who soared over Kiyoshi’s head. Now the odds were even. “Alright Daisuke. Ready for our first battle? Your gonna get the floating ball of gas. Start off with a gust attack then bombard him with Peck! Go!” Kiyoshi looked down at his new found friend. He was clearly frightened. But Kiyoshi knew that Daisuke wasn’t aable to take on both of them by himself. He needed some help from Snubbull. “Snubbull. Please. I know your scared but I need your help. I need your help to take down the Pokémon that are bothering. They will never bother you again. We just need to stop them now. Come on, you can do it. You’re not alone anymore. We’re here to help you.” He looked back at Daisuke to see how he was doing, then. Kiyoshi didn’t know if he was up for it but if he was Kiyoshi looked thorough his poketech and found a list of possible attacks he could use. He took a shot and gave the Snubbull some battle commands. “Use tackle to get up close. Then when your close hit the grimer with Fire fang.” Kiyoshi hoped for the best. |

Taillow flew straight for the Koffing, before slowing down 10 feet in front of it. He started flapping his wings vigorously, aiming the draft at the Koffing. The wind created was quite powerful, knocking over cans and sending Koffing back a few feet. While the Koffing had its eyes closed so it wouldn’t get dirt or anything in its eyes Taillow flew straight at it again, this time his beak glowing a bright white as he powered up his peck attack. As Taillow reached Koffing it stopped in mid air and started pecking Koffing in the face, leaving tiny holes were its beak hit. As Koffing recovered from the barrage he used tackle to slam into your Taillow, quickly followed by poison gas. As the gas set in Taillow became poisoned. Koffing started laughing at your Taillow, mocking the fact that it was now poisoned. Grimer moved forward and started taking swipes at Taillow, trying to pound it down and knock it out. As Snubbull watched this anger started setting in. How dare these losers attack his new team member? He wasn’t going to allow this and decided to do something about it. He ran forward, his large fangs bared and ready to strike, and he used tackle. The attack hit the Grimer and the goo covered parts of Snubbull. Snubbull didn’t care, he was angry by now and his fangs started glowing a bright vibrant red as he reared back his head, prepared to strike. Grimer tried motoring its way out of range, but wasn’t nearly fast enough, and took the attack on the back of what would be considered its head. The red coloring poured into the Grimer as the attack started causing damage. Grimer and Koffing started backing up slowly, keeping a now wary eye on both of the Pokémon. Snubbull walked forward confidently, intent on making these losers pay somehow, even if he had to bite them and get their nasty taste in his mouth. They were going to pay. Well, that went well, what was your next order? Whatever it was you better make it fast, that Snubbull looks like its about to tear those Pokémon apart. The battle seemed like a toss up for Kiyoshi right now. On one had Snubbull was doing great and pummelling the snot out of Grimer. On the other hand Daisuke was now poisoned and Kiyoshi was sure he was going to give out any moment. Dam it! He didn’t know what to do. “Daisuke, are you alright?! We’ve got to finish this up quickly. Now use Focus Energy. Follow up with another Peck!” Kiyoshi hoped for the best with Daisuke. He didn’t want to leave Snubbull to fight these two on his own. Although considering how great Snubbull was doing right now that may not be such a bad idea. Attention was quickly turned to his Snubbull. He hated himself what he was about to do, but he felt that he had no choice. “Great job out there Snubbull! I knew you could do this. Now lets keep at it. Help out Daisuke and turn your attention to Koffing! Use Headbutt, then Bite! That’ll show ‘em!” Kiyoshi was indeed worried about Daisuke and he would have rather had two fair one on one battles, but it just couldn't happen. He hoped to beat down Koffing quickly and then doing the same to Grimer would be easy. Also this way if Daisuke gave out Snubbull wouldn’t have to go two verses one. This was the best possible choice for them now. |

Koffing was still laughing at your Tailow's misfortune at getting Poisoned and Daisuke was becoming increasingly more angry with the floating ball of poisonous gas. It growled sharply at the Koffing whom immediately stopped his laughing and now looked quite worried about what he would do next. Daisuke remained quite still now and closed his eyes. He was beginning to tense up his muscles, the occasional twitch in one of the Taillow's wings would occur but Daisuke merely shrugged it off. Then he shot up and spread his wings indicating that the attack was finished and was now ready to attack Koffing. Daisuke swooped down with amazing speed straight towards Koffing whom seemed a little surprised that he was going for him! Koffing had no time to react and was struck full force by the peck attack which left a greater hole in him than the previous peck attacks. This was definitely a bad blow to the gas Pokémon. Grimer looked on at the battle slightly confused. Was he not involved in the battle anymore? Was he being ignored? Because no-one ignores a Grimer! Grimer began to get a little bit angry now and launched a poison gas attack into the air. The poisonous attack hit Koffing, Tailow and Snubbull. Tailow was already poisoned and Koffing was a poison type and Snubbull just didn't get poisoned, but Koffing had taken damage from the attack and so had your two Pokémon. Snubbull began racing towards Koffing whom was a little dazed as to why his team mate had attacked him? What had he done to him? He had not noticed Snubbull running towards him and was caught off guard by the headbutt and was knocked into the ground where a bite attack from Snubbull took place. Koffing was out of the battle! Kiyoshi’s plan had worked and went off without a hitch. With the Koffing out of commission the two of them would be able to take out Grimer in no time. He didn’t like having his two Pokémon to gang up on but he had no choice. Daisuke alone would get annihilated. Kiyoshi told Snubbull that he wouldn’t be alone anymore, so he couldn’t go back on his words and have Daisuke return. Daisuke didn’t look too bad; Kiyoshi thought that he would hold out. He was sure that this battle would be over soon enough, or he hoped. “Good job you two! Divide and concur. Now we are going to wrap this up. Daisuke, use Gust to gain some distance. Then follow up with a headbutt! Snubbull set up with Agility. The finish with a Skull bash! “ Kiyoshi knew that the combination of all these attacks would take its toll on Grimer. Serves him right for picking on Snubbull. Give him a taste of his own medican, even if Kiyoshi didn’t want to have a two on one. This time was an exception. |

Your Taillow started using gust, aiming the wind directly at the Grimer. The wind did a fair amount of damage as it picked up small debris and lacerated the poison Pokémon. As he gained a bit of altitude you Snubbull started increasing his speed with agility, getting ready for the second part of the attack. Snubbull started it off by dashing directly at the gunk Pokémon. He slammed into it mid torso with a powerful skull bash attack. The Grimer gasped and its eyes opened wide as the attack hit. A second later its head went backwards as Taillow rammed into it head first with an even more powerful head butt attack. Grimer slid into a pile of ooze on the ground as it fainted, thus letting you win the battle. Your Pokémon jumped for joy, your Taillow more like flapping in joy, as they grinned at each other before coming to you for reassurance that they had done something good. Well, look at that, they won, are you going to congratulate them? Were you going to catch at least one of the poison Pokémon, who knows maybe you could fetch a fair price for either of them, and if not both had powerful evolutions. Well, make your move. Congratulations, your Pokémon won, they both gained 66 ![]() Taillow and Snubbull grew to level 6 total left is 6/60 exp for both |

“You did you guys! The two of you make a great team! Daisuke you were awesome, but now we got to get you to a Pokémon center as quickly as possible. Good job buddy.” Kiyoshi pulled out his partner’s pokeball. He pressed on the little center circle to have it enlarge. With it aimed at Daisuke the familiar red beam shot out and engulfed his partner and brought him in to rest. Now Kiyoshi turned to his brave Snubbull. “Hey you. You were great out there. I knew that you had it in you. You were so brave. Now that you’ve joined us you deserve a nickname. Taillow has his nickname as Daisuke which means big help. And he is. You will be Isamu. This means Courage or Bravery, which you showed plenty of today. Sounds good?” Kiyoshi pulled out Isamu’s pokeball and had him return to it also. He deserved a nice quiet rest after what had just happened. With both of his Pokémon in their respective pokeballs Kiyoshi set out on a search for the Pokémon center. He needed to get Daisuke there as fast as possible. So he moved as quickly as he could in hopes of getting to it faster. |

The streets were now aligned with hurrying people on their way to the Pokémon center just like you. It was quite central in the day now, which means the Pokécenter was going to be full. But as you scurried, you quickly followed a few people to where the Pokécenter was, while keeping ahead of many others so you wouldn't have to wait much longer. As you got to the Pokécenter, the doors slid open for you and everyone else. it wasn't a long wait until the nurse had fully healed your Pokémon. You decided to sit at a table to sort your pokeballs and items out. Taking your backpack off and landing it on the table. Once you had put the pokeballs upon your belt you decided to see how many you had left in your backpack... Strange, there was 1 extra... And it seemed to be nudging and ratteling in attempts to get out. You poked the button and a red light emerged to show a new Pokémon by your side. What? Strange... you looked around in your bag to see where it had come from when you seen a note that had fallen off. The note read that it was a gift from your dad, well isn't that nice. It was a Riolu, you lucky thing! I, upon many others would of loved one of them as a gift. What were you going to do now? Get aquainted with it? |

Kiyoshi looked down at the little blue dog that stood before him. He once again went through his pokethech and into the pokedex function. He found out about the Pokémon and it being a rare Riolu. Then he returned his attention to the note that he had found. The Riolu had come from his father. There was no surprise to Kiyoshi there. His father worked in the laboratory with all sorts of Pokémon. He was eternally grateful for his fathers gift. Kiyoshi could not believe his luck today. First Isamu joins him with virtually no resistance and now he find this little guy in his bag from his father. Today was Kiyoshi’s day. “Hey there buddy. You’ve been stuck in that pokeball the whole time and I didn’t even know that you were with me. Sorry about that, hope that you’ll forgive me. So my dad gave you to me for my journey eh? You know my father then right? I’m his son Kiyoshi. Nice to meet you!” Kiyoshi waited patiently for his Pokémon to be cured and rested. After he got his Pokémon Kiyoshi politely thanked the nurse and was out the door. He would search the city for a few Pokémon. His Pokémon could use some good old fashion training, and if he found some cool wild Pokémon then he would have some nice additions to his team. Either way he had a plan. |

The healing process was quick, and won't be detailed for the sake of time. After your Pokémon were returned, it seemed that the outdoors perked your interest. Steadily walking for the sliding glass doors, you would eventually make your back into the city of Tohea. The sunlight hit your eyes, it was so much different than that artificial light buildings use. The energy from the sun was providing you with an initiative to do great. All around, people lazily scampered about- no ambition. Clearly you were not caught up in this little rink of horrible moods. No, you, you were ready to take on the world. All that from a little sunlight? Peculiar as it sounds, it could possibly the sole reason for this strange felling . . . Or maybe there's something else- something else that hidden right now, but could pop up at anytime. Or maybe it already popped up, in a sense of a new matter. Who knows what this projection of emotion could be from... Silently observing you, little Riolu was actually concerned about your feelings. No doubt he could feel them, no doubt he was reading them. But why did you feel that way? Tending to ignore your mood, the little Emanation Pokémon also drifted off into a strange feeling of different fluxes of readings and such. He suddenly caught sight of something to behold. Something lye on the ground a good two yards in front of the little creature. He curiously blinked at it, notifying you it was there. The figure that was lying on the ground was just a spec of a pale blue, with two wing-like fins coming from its back. Your Pokémon, and possibly you, could only make out six spear-like appendages coming from what seemed to be either the head or body of the creature. It suddenly flopped up, but immediately fell back to the ground. A faint echo was coming from it, and clearly no one oh a human's hearing could easily pick up on it. Good thing for Riolu. The little Pokémon heard a sort of distress coming from the area where the figure was located in. It turned to you, and pulled on your pant leg softly. The second it got your attention, the little Pokémon pointed out toward the figure lying on the ground. Clearly he didn't want to approach it by himself, and was seeking your approval to do so, or perhaps your aid in doing so. |
