Diglett struck first, burrowing underground while the Male Ralts wasn't looking. The thing was bewildered that the mole had disappeared, and wasn't expecting to be struck by Dig. It flew backwards and landed on its back, but Diglett was now open for an attack. Just as the Female Ralts tried to Tackle her, it was bitten by Yanma's sharp but small mouth. He latched onto the things horn, causing her to thrash about wildly. Glameow, unfortunately, struck Cherry before she could strike it. It quickly dodged her attack and Scratched at the living cherry. Cherry got flustered and rushed back at the cat, striking it square int he head with a Tackle. Overall this battle was in your favor so far. But, that doesn't mean things couldn't turn around quickly. The male Ralts had gotten up and was furious, a small ball of blue flames forming in front of him. You'd best watch out for him, or else someone is going to get burned. Whatever you do next had better be good, or else you're going to be in for a rough time. "The male ralts seems to be almost weak enough for me to catch it!" Cuburt seemed to be in the lead but in a Pokémon battle things can change fast. He had to seize the oppurtunity now or else it will be gone soon. Diglett still had full health which was good, but Cherry was in trouble. What to do, what to do... Yanma was also doing pretty good with the ralts. "Diglett use dig again! This time use it on the glameow. Yanma bite harder then slam the female ralts down on the floor! Cherry use tackle on the male ralts." If Cuburt could just catch the Ralts the battle would really lean in his favor. He still had the pokeball in his hands just in case. "Go team, attack now!" Cuburt watched and got really excited. He was still a newbie after all considering he started this morning becoming a trainer and all. He got jitters from thinking about all the battles he'll have in the future. He snapped quickly back in the battle. Edited by Cuburt007, Jul 29 2008, 12:53 PM.

Both ralts looked at each other, pretty much scared for their lives. The two were in a tough position, which seemed to really be bad for them. There was something about them right now that seemed to be rather odd. The two Pokémon placed their hands together, glowing with something strange. Of course, Cubert's Pokémon were going to take advantage to them not attacking back, and get ready to strike the duo. Glameow seemed to be still willing to fight back, however, which would probably be bad on Cubert's part. Honestly, the cat seemed powerful and quick, and willing to defend the duo of psychic Pokémon. Taking to their trainer's orders, Cubert's Pokémon got ready to move out. Diglett was first up, and was going to get to using her attack, but when the trainer had ordered "Dig," she was completely unsure of what to do. It seems as if she didn't know the move her trainer was ordering, but decided to use tackle instead. She quickly trailed across the ground, getting ready to tackle into Glameow. Right as it popped up next to the cat, the agile little feline pounced right out of the way, landing exactly behind the little mole. Oh no. Extending a paw, Glameow quickly delivered a pair of painful scratches to the feline, dealing a bit of damage to it. Shaking in pain, Diglett tried to get away, but Glameow had stocked it in every direction, no way it was letting this catch go. Yanma continued to bite into the poor Ralt's head, giving her a horrible headache as she tried to concentrate with her male counterpart. The two still had linked hands, and were slightly glowing with a purplish energy right about now. Not wanting for this to continue on, Yanma smacked the Ralts with its tail, but still wasn't able to knock it out of focus. The psychic energy around was getting a bit stronger at this point, and honestly, almost enough to make something of it. Being the last to attack, Cherry wanted to be a bit more successful than her partners who had attacked before her. Lunging in the air toward the male Ralts, Cherry was ready to take him out. The little bud was close, but wasn't moving fast enough. Both of the ralts seemed to have completed their focus, and completely disappeared. Cherry ended landing on the ground, but nothing like a dramatic impact which would add recoil to her. It seems that the two ralts had pulled off a teleport, and were now a few meters away from the battle, and from Cubert. They didn't seem to interested in being captured, and were fleeing at any cost. The focus of energy seemed to ware them out, but they were both still standing. Even if they did pull off Teleport, it's not like they'd made it too far away, just a bit off the location of the battle. All Cubert would need to do is pursue them and he'd be fine with catching them. Well, maybe. "Oh no the ralts are getting away! Cherry and Yanma stop them fast!" Cuburt pointed quickly in the direction of the ralts. He almost had the down enough to catch, they couldn't get away now, that would really suck. It seemed that the ralts were some how atttatched to each other. Cuburt only had two pokeballs left after catching Diglett. He was going to catch one Ralts and one Glameow, but after seeing the connection between the two, he decided not to split them up. It just seemed mean. "Diglett use Dig on Glameow!" Glameow was a big problem. It seemed it was the strongest of the three Pokémon in the group. Cuburt had to take it down fast! Both Cherry and Yanma both nodded in acknowledgement, before going to stop the 2 escaping Ralts. Both Cherry and Yanma used agility to help catch up to the running Ralts. Cherry used a Tackle on the Ralts and knocked her down. Yanma used a tackle on the Ralts, which also knocked him down. Well one looks weak enough to capture, the other may need another hit to become weak enough for capture. Both Ralts turned and used growl on Cherry and Yanma, in an attempt to weaken their attack. For the most part it seemed to work for a bit, both Cherry and Yanma both looked worried about the Ralt's.Meanwhile your Diglett was having its own fight with that Glameow. The Diglett dug into the ground and started moving at the sassy cat. The Glameow made an attempt to claw at the ground where Diglett was, only to fail at it. The Diglett came up a few seconds later and hit the Glameow, who was trying to dodge that attack. The Glameow snarled at being hit and swiped a claw at the Diglett with a scratch attack. The scratch connected and caused the little mole Pokémon some pain. But it wasn't enough to cause the Diglett to go out of commision yet. The Diglett dug back to where you were and awaited further instructions. Both Cherry and Yanma waited for orders while watching to 2 Ralts. At this rate both the Ralts could be yours without to much trouble, that Glameow seems to be much more of a problem. And problems need to be dealt with quickly, or else they make bigger problems. But enough of that, what will our young hero do now? Heck not even I know that part, well onward with the battle and beyond. level 6 13/37 47% level 6 15/37 66%(attack -1) (agility +1) level 4 26/33 67%(attack -1) (agility +1) (speed +2 from speed boost) vs level 5 5/35 32% level 5 11/35 43% level 7 23/39 58% |

Excited at the ralts being weak enough to capture Cuburt hquickly got out a pokeball and gave it a good toss at the male ralts. The female ralts was next. Only like one more hit! "Cherry tackle on the female ralts!" Cuburt had to stop the glameow and fast! It was a powerful Pokémon indeed. Time to double team it. Diglett definetly needed back up. "Yanma use tail whip on the glameow, Diglett use dig again!" Dig was doing a good job and Cuburt was happy Diglett learned it, and so quickly too. "Yanma use tail whip before Diglett uses dig." Cuburt was amazed at how fast Yanma was going. It just got faster and faster with time! The female ralts was almost out too! just one more hit! Cuburt bounced up and down as he awaited the action that was sure to come in the next round. Now that Cuburt basicly had the ralts on his team the battle was going to turn for his favor...he hoped. |

As your pokeball flew off towards the male Ralts, Cherubi took off towards the female. As Cherry neared her target, Yanma turned and began whipping his tail back and forth, catching the attention of the Glameow as Diglett began digging her way underground, tunneling beneath the distracted Pokémon. Everything now seemed to be happening all at once. Your pokeball was now falling towards the male Ralts, thumping it on the head and cracking open, its red energy sucking the Ralts inside. As it landed and began the capturing sequence, Cherry launched herself towards the femal Ralts, giving a loud, excited "Cheru!" as she Tackled it, causing the Ralts to fall backwards, skidding across the ground and stopping on its back, looking dazed and exhausted. Just as Cherry had completed her Tackle attack, bits of concrete and dirt flew through the air as Diglett burst from her underground tunnel, striking the Glameow with her domed head, causing it to fly upwards a bit before landing hard on its back as well. Afterwards, neither of your two remaining opponents moved, both of them lying motionless on the concrete. As the pokeball finally stopped wobbling around, you heard the reassuring Bing! of a successful capture. So, that was one Ralts down. As the Glameow slowly began to get back up, not yet out of this battle, it began to run towards Yanma, jumping up and Scratching it with razor-like claws, landing harder than expected and nearly collapsing from exhaustion. So, it appeared that Glameow refused to go out without a fight. Still, it looked pretty out of it. And three against one wasn't exactly good odds for it to be trying to fight back. So, yeah, this batle was pretty much over. Time for you to make your final move. .:ALLY:. Lv.6 13/37 43% Lv.6 15/37 63% Lv.4 14/33 55%.:ENEMY:. Cuburt quickly got out his last pokeball. He threw it at the female ralts as it layed on the ground passed out. He didn't want the femlae ralts to be without its brother or its mate, which ever it was. Glameow was left, but with such little health this battle was over. "Yanma use quick attack. Cherry use headbutt. Diglett tackle." Cuburt was kind of surprised at how this battle went by so fast. His Pokémon were strong indeed! On the first day too! He already had four pokrmon, and about to be five. He needed more Pokémon though. Being a trainer was going to be more fun then he thought. "Glameow is done for team." Cuburt was proud of his Pokémon skills in battle. They took out a level seven so easily. He puffed up with pride at his new Pokémon friends. They are only going to get stronger too. Time to end this battle. "Now attack!" |

The red and white ball soared high through the air and bounced off of the fainted Ralts' body. A red light shone on the Pokémon as it was absorbed inside of the ball. With out much of a fight the ball landed on the cement and made that trade mark "Ding" that is usually followed by screams of joy from a trainer. Well, congratulations. You just caught another Pokémon! Your on a roll! Well, back to the battle. It was obvious that Glameow didn't want to see the end of this fight, seeing that it was slowly inching away from the battle field.... Ah well, it will be in a better place. You sent the commands to you're Pokémon and all three of them jetted off to this poor unlucky cat. First came your over-sized dragon fly, rushing in with a lightning fast Quick attack! When it connected the poor Glameow was sent flying through the air. It crashed onto the ground with a loud "THUDD" It lay there Motionless for a few moments before being rocketed back into the air once again from your Diglets Tackle attack.. Still not done yet? Well good, Because your Cherubi just slammed that poor cat into the ground with Head butt. You have to take some pity on it actually... Nothing deserved that kind of punishment... Oh well, Alls fair in love and war, eh? You caught two new Pokémon, Beat a random cat senseless.... What could make this day better? How about taking your Pokémon to the Pokémon center? They may not be in as bad of a shape as Glameow but it wouldn't hurt to get them checked out... You better hurry though, Storm clouds are looming over head. You wouldn't want to get caught in the rain would you? Lv.6 13/37 39% Lv.6 15/37 59% Lv.4 14/33 53%VS Lv.7 0/39 42%Fainted Edited by Acubenz, Aug 15 2008, 07:07 AM.

(OOC: did i get any exp? nice ref btw) Cuburt fed his Pokémon some food from his backpack as a reward for a battle well done. After this he hurriedly stood up and congratulated his pals for as much such strength as they had so bravely showed. He then called his Pokémon back to ther respective pokeball and began to walk to the Pokémon center. He looked for they trademark red roof and sped toward it in an atempt to heal his tired Pokémon. When he got to the center he walked up to the counter and rung the bell for assitence. He wanted to heal his Pokémon. Cuburt waited patiently for a nurse to come out of the back room. Cuburt was one lucky trainer to catch all these Pokémon in one day! The two new ralts will really come in handy for his team. He will soon be a great trainer indeed! If only the rain clouds would go away so that he could train in the sun after his Pokémon were healed. Edited by Cuburt007, Aug 15 2008, 12:57 PM.

((I can't tell, so PM me if you havn't gotten your exp and I'll look at your topic, see whats been given, and give what you need. Honestly, the Trainee Mod should not have asked you to request EXP. You are not rewarded EXP until the end of a match, for good reason because the formula for party battles is different. )) The Tohean gods have blessed you, you've been given two powerful psychics and a cat. This Tohean god, for one, wouldn't mind offering you something for the Ralts ;). Now, I know you had to work for these and all, but its still unusual to even face all of these at the same time. Many would give an arm and a leg for the Ralts you've caught. Cuburt went into the Pokécenter, gave Nurse joy his Pokémon and got them back, all healed. Now what? Its raining outside, Cuburt does not want to train his Pokémon in this rain, so you've gotten yourself in a bind. What is there to do in the Pokécenter? Well, that is what we are about to find out.Cuburt walked around the Pokécenter bored, there being little to do. As Cuburt waited, he overheard some conversations. There are many trainers hanging out in the Pokécenter when the rains come, some because their Pokémon don't fair well in it, others because rumors are to be had. While most of them were of miscellaneous things you don't really care about, there were a couple that perked your interest. One was about a strange monster that haunted an abandoned house just outside of town. Whenever anyone tried to sleep in the house, and some trainers weary from their travels did do so, they are attacked by the monster and their Pokémon were taken. A scary, suspicious thing indeed, but it could just be an urban legend sort of thing. The other interesting story was that on the route from here to Tohea City, there is a pair of Tyrouge that challenge every trainer who passes, and take their food and refuse them passage should they fail. This is interesting, but by the time you get to them, they might already be gone from the area. So, after a few hours, the rain passed and the day was late but still ready for adventure. You can wait till morning for a fresh day, but what better time to visit a haunted house? ((Note, You'll need a GMod to actually spawn the Tyrouge, and you might not find them either way.)) Cuburt was tired after a long day and his Pokémon probably were too. After hearing all the rumors though he suddenly became less tired and wanted to try some of em out. It was a perfect time to go to the haunted house, but it worried Cuburt that he might lose his Pokémon. He was confident in their skills but at the same time he was still scared. In the end he decided to rest until dawn and see what came about tomorrow. When he wakes up he was going to check the house out in the day, and maybe see the tyrouges. After a good nights sleep Cuburt got up and stretched. "YAWN! What a good sleep I feel great! Time for a new day." He gathered his stuff and walked out of the Pokémon center. He headed too the Pokémart soon after. He walked into the Pokémart. The bell on the door rang as he stepped in. He took out enough money to buy three pokeballs, which is what he needed. Cuburt grabbed three pokeballs and walked up to the front counter to ring it up. "Hi clerk, I would like to buy these he said. |

Upon entering the quite little shop, Cubert quickly found himself in a mess of items, shelves, and people shopping around. The PokéMart in this city was rather small, and seemed to be quite friendly in terms of service. However, it seemed the shopkeep didn't quite know how exactly to organize the shelves quite well, seeing as it was basically a mess of displays all about the small shop. It wasn't bad, though, seeing as the low variety of items basically meant it was easy to find what one was looking for, even if the entire shop was a complete mess. After a few moments of browsing around, it seemed as if Cubert had selected the items he wished to purchase, and was ready to make his way toward the check-out counter to pay for the stuff, and get on with his journey. A few minutes passed as the trainer waited in a short line, but it was eventually his turn to pay for the goods he was going to buy. A happy-faced clerk, perhaps in her late sixties as the bundle of gray hair indicated quickly ringed up the items, placing them in an eco-friendly bag , and then eventually handed them to the boy trainer. Now that he had his spoils, he was off to wherever today was going to take him. At this point, there was a slue of things he could take part in, and seeing as this morning was a fresh, sunny adventure, could start to train his well-balanced team of pokémon, along with those Ralts twins. (62 for Diglett, Cherubi, and Yanma, if it wasn't awarded from the last battle. I just counted it as defeating both Ralts, and the Glameow.)

Skipping marrily along, Cuburt decided to go to find the tyronge he heard about. After skipping around for about an hour he realized that he had no idea where the heck the Pokémon where anyway. So he sat, tired from skipping so much. Soon he got back up and walked around town in search for any city-slicking Pokémon that might want to battle, maybe a trainer would come too, who knows. It suddenly came to him that he was almost out of money! Cuburt checked all his pockets and his backpack, but found only a few pokebucks. He heard form his mom that he could get a job from towns people. He couln't decided on whether to catch/battle some Pokémon or to get a job. Finnaly he decided to leave it up to the Fates. Some refer to them a Tohean gods. He began to walk around waiting for something, anything to happen that would relive him from his boredom. |

Fate loves messing with the heads of Tohea's Pokémon Trainers. They will bewitch your mind, ensnare your senses, bottle fame, brew glory, and even "stopper" death. No...wait, this isn't Professor Severus Snape's Potions Class. This is the real deal for the one and only Cuburt, and this document chronicles his remarkable As you were walking along with a particularly "I'm bored and ready for anything" look on your face, some round...thing came rolling up the street and slammed into you rather violently. Within seconds, you and the offending thing were sprawled on the ground. Personally, I'd want to hide by now, as you had caught the attention of some of your local street pedestrians. Then again, this was the city so you could expect all sorts of things. The thing sitting in front of you looked rather young, deadly, scared, deadly, explosive, deadly....did I mention deadly? Yes, those huge blue eyes and that flabby pink bulk could be the last thing that you ever saw...before the thing sung you to sleep with its Sing attack.
