Perhaps I am the best one to break the news to you. But maybe I'm not considering that I don't exist. At least in your journey. But I'll just offer some food for thought. YOU'RE EXPENDABLE TO THE POLICE! MWAHAHAHA! They'll let you die if it gets them closer to landing a hit on Jason. Sorry to break it to you. Anyways, onto you getting murder...I mean brought peacefully to Jason. The seven eyes stepped into the light. The blue eyes belonged to a seven foot tall brute of a man. Even without Pokémon, this monster could snap you like a twig. The red eye belonged to a playful Duskull with an intensely burning eye. And the yellow eyes belonged to not a Growlithe, but a monstrous Arcanine. It appears my sources are a little out of date. Sorry about that. The brute looked at you and said, "Get out of Jason's territory now. Otherwise, I have clearance to kill you." I dunno, but this guy doesn't seem like he'll negotiate anything. Seems like its a dead end. Leave or die leaves you with few choices. Before you responded, the brute spoke again. "However, Jason is looking for people to help him. If you beat me in a 2-on-2 battle with Dusk and Dawn, you will have passed the first test in entering the service of Jason." What do you say? Seems like its your only way to reach your goal. Will you take the opportunity or run away? Dusk Level 5 Dawn Level 8

Eyes widening at this guy's height and Pokémon, Ryan knew that he wasn't someone to mess with. He could break Ryan in half like he was nothing more than a little twig for crying out loud! And why was he thinking now that the police would just tick it as a little casualty? Well they probably would, since they've been after Jason now for a very long time. Besides, he was told back home to never trust a cop, and yet here he was doing the whole operation for them. Oh well, he sure hoped that in the end, he'd end up feeling a whole lot better. But for now, things weren't that great. He was told to either leave Jason's territory, which made Ryan want to roll his eyes, except that the brute was there, or to battle him and see if he could be one of Jason's men. Well he definitely wanted to get in there and find Jason, and he supposed that right now this was the only start to do so. So Ryan gave a little sigh and unclipped two of the Pokeballs he had at his waist. It was then that he realized that the Pokeball must have been transferred to him over the Poketch. 'Cuz it clearly wasn't in any box or anything. He had three Pokeballs on his waist. "Alright, let's see how well this goes then. I'm sick of doing petty theft for myself when I could be doing higher and better things. Let's show him that we're ready for this! Slipp! Lapras! I choose you two to help me out here! Now don't be too scared when you see his Pokémon, because I think with a good strategy we can come out on top!" This may have sounded like wishful thinking, but Ryan already had a plan. What he would do is use Lapras like a launch and have her shoot Slipp up into the sky. Once he was up in the air, he could use Water Gun right onto Arcanine from in the air. Of course the landing part would be difficult, since he didn't want Slipp to get too hurt again. Luckily he was made mostly of fat, and he was round. So he'd have him get himself into a ball and just roll onto the ground. Then once he came up, he could shoot a Powder Snow at either Arcanine or Duskull. Whichever one was closest. Meanwhile, he'd have to have Lapras do some kind of diversion type thing. "Alright, Lapras I want you to launch Slipp into the air. As soon as you have him launched, shoot a Water Gun right at Duskull! Try to get it in his eye! Right after you're done with that, I want you to shoot a Mist all over, so that way when Slipp lands, he'll be hidden well. Slipp, while you're in the air, I want you to shoot a Water Gun of your own right down on Arcanine! Then, when you're coming down, roll yourself up into a ball and try rolling onto the ground. With your blubber and round shape you shouldn't do too much damage to yourself. Lapras, if anyone tries to get at you, just use your head to try slap them away or something. Once you're recovered Slipp I want you to use Powder Snow on either Arcanine or Duskull, whichever one is closest. You might be able to freeze them!" With that, Ryan knew that he could only count on his Pokémon to do well, which he did, because he felt that this was a strategy that would work. Well here went nothing anyhow. |

Your strategy was pretty cool. Sadly, it lacked some explanation. When you told Lapras to launch Slipp into the air, the ferry Pokémon looked around confusedly. What did you want her to? How was she supposed to launch Slipp? Slipp was more or less just as confused for the same reason. Dusk and Dawn were not so confused. Their trainer called out, "Dark Fire!" Dark Fire? What the hell is that? Your Pokémon panicked and altered the plan to skip what they didn't understand. Lapras gurgled water for a minute and shot it at Duskull at the same time that Slipp shot at Arcanine. The attack, Dark Fire, that was being prepared, was stalled during this assault. When your Pokémon ran out of water, Dusk and Dawn immediately restarted their assault. This time they succeeded. Dawn was covered in a fiery shroud. Dusk was glowing with a dark energy. Dusk struck first with Night Shade, covering your Pokémon in a pulsating darkness. Dawn released her energy at the dark field and your Pokémon, unable to see anything were about to be struck by a Heat Wave. Suddenly the darkness subsided and your Pokémon acted quickly, both shot out a stream of water that weakened the flames coming at them, but did not eliminate them. Both were struck by the fire and moved backwards. Your Pokémon were a little tired and somewhat underprepared for this fight. You might want to explain your plans a little better next time. Unfortunately for Ryan, he didn't realize that he may actually have had to explain how Lapras should have launched Slipp. He watched as his plan completely unraveled and the others were able to counter quite efficiently. At the end, it was clear that Ryan was losing, and that wasn't something that made him happy. It was bad enough that he had to battle this guy who had an Arcanine in order to get in, but now he had already made a very big mistake. Ryan supposed that that could only mean that he would have to come up with some way to fix it. Another plan flashed through his head and he immediately began giving orders, knowing that this time he'd have to explain fully well what he wanted done. If this went well, then Duskull could very well end up frozen, though that would only really work if Slipp was able to time things just right. But he was sure that he could do it, and he was sure that Lapras would understand what he wanted her to do this time once he had things fully explained. He was just afraid of what this guy here would end up doing once he heard Ryan give his commands. Well he could always hope that he wouldn't really be able to do much to stop this next attack. "Okay, Lapras, this time I want you to use your flipper to shoot Slipp right at Duskull. Just slap him with it, but try your best to not actually hurt him. I want you to hit him hard enough where he would go through Duskull though. Slipp, be prepared for it so you don't get shocked when she shoots you at Duskull. Right after you shoot him, I want you to use another Water Gun on Arcanine, and try getting her in the face. Maybe if she gets some in her mouth then it'll cause more damage. Now Slipp, when you're slapped to Duskull, I want you to wait until right before you're about to go through him. Then use a Powder Snow attack! Hopefully you'll shoot it as you're going through so it gets him from the inside. If all goes well, I'm hoping that he'll be frozen. Then shoot a Water Gun at Arcanine as well." This time Ryan was sure that his commands were detailed enough where both Pokémon would be able to understand him. He crossed his fingers and hoped that this would work. If Duskull was frozen solid, then Ryan could focus his attention on the Arcanine, who he felt was the biggest threat right now with her bulky size. Ryan watched in anticipation... |

You seem to be good at making plans. There's only one real flaw in them. What happens when your enemy reacts? That might change some things, but before I get all critical, maybe we should see what happens. Slipp and Lapras nodded in their own way to acknowledge that they understood and both of them began to carry out the new, more detailed commands. Your opponents, Dusk, Dawn, and the strange man, were watching carefully and unmoving. This guy was pretty confident in his Pokémon and his strategies. You'll have to come up with something really cool to beat him. Lapras used her powerful flippers to launch Slipp into the air. The ball of seal flew through the air, straight at Duskull. Still completely impassive, even as Arcanine was hit with Lapras's Water Gun (who remained impassive as well), the man called out "Blinding Light!" The area around Dusk and Slipp flashed for an instant and nothing adverse appeared to happen. Dawn glowed with a powerful light, and the field around you was surrounded by a ring of bright light. Though there was no sun out, Dawn's Sunny Day had adapted itself to igniting at night. Again, the tall man's commands were accurate, as there was a blinding light surrounding you now. The next thing that happened was not something you expected. Slipp crashed right into Duskull. The ghost was solid. However, Slipp was not to be stopped by that and he used Powder Snow a second after impact. Icy cold energy gathered around the two Pokémon, locking them in a swirl of snow, created from the freezing of ice particles in the air. When the swirl of snow subsided, lying in a pile of snow, Slipp and Duskull lay. Slipp moved over to you and waited next to you. You shifted position slightly and noticed the glint of light off of Duskull. Looks like your plan succeeded. Slipp attempted to carry out the next part of the plan, but found that he couldn't. Maybe that flash of light wasn't so simple. Maybe it was the work of Disable, which had nullified Water Gun's use. Another thing to point out is that Arcainine might have an easy time thawing Duskull, so preventing that is top priority. Level 4 25/33 89% Slipp Level 5 25/35 85%(Water Gun Disabled) VS. ((OOC: This is going to be fun. Walking back into an unfinished battle. Haha. Here goes)) Ryan watched carefully, and didn't like how confident this guy was. It was obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing, which was only confirmed by his calm commands from his Pokémon. When all was said and done, Ryan had to admit that things actually went pretty well for him, although it seemed that Slipp's Water Gun was currently not able to work. That was pretty bad, seeing as how that was the strongest attack against Dawn right now. He'd just have to come up with another strategy that could not only take Dawn out of the picture in the long run, but also at least leave them capable of keeping the huge fire dog from thawing the ghost. Ryan thought he had a decent plan for the last part at least. He figured that right now what would probably be best would be to have Lapras shoot off a Water Gun at Dawn, although she'd probably end up dodging it. So that made him think of trying an attack that could hit her when she landed from dodging the water shot. The best bet could be to have Slipp use a Defense Curl combined with a Tackle attack, although he'd have to hit Dawn in the face in order to actually do a decent amount of damage. And even that wouldn't be a lot. It would just be a bit... unless. Then it clicked. He would have to use speed with this too, and Lapras would be perfect again, launching Slipp, although a little differently. "Slipp, I want you to get right next to Lapras. Lapras, shoot off a Water Gun at Arcanine and watch where she dodges. Slipp, use Defense Curl while this is going on, and stay tucked into a ball. Lapras, wherever Arcanine is going to be, I want you to smack Slipp with your flipper aimed at where Arcanines head is going to be. If you can, aim so that Slipp will smack Arcanine in the face. And make sure you do it so that Slipp will hit her as hard as possible. Hopefully Arcanine will be a little dazed by this. Use another Water Gun as hard as you can, and do your best at soaking Arcanine fully!" That took care of actually doing something to Dawn to help take her out, and Ryan thought that this plan wouldn't be too bad. The bad thing was that this guy was waiting for Ryan to call out commands before calling commands out on his own. So he had a much better chance at turning things on Ryan. But right now, he had to do what he could, and that was the best plan that he could come up with right now. This didn't necessarily keep Dawn from thawing out Dusk, and that's where the last stage came in at. "Lapras, when this is all done, I want you to go where Duskull is and turn yourself so that your shell is facing Arcanine. That should block any fire attacks she could use to thaw him out. Slipp, once you hit Arcanine, try using a Headbutt from under her, and smack her in the gut a good one. That might do something too!" Biting his lip, Ryan hoped and prayed that this one would actually work the way he envisioned it... |

Now it seemed like your brain was working as it was before, so how about we get this show in the road?! The man opposite you was staring you down cooly as he looked at his two Pokémon. It didn't seem to bother him that his Duskull was frozen, seeing as already the Sunny Day was thawing him out ever-so-slowly. He seemed to be thinking up his commands as you spoke to your Pokémon, watching your lips as they moved ever so slightly so that he could get a good idea of what you were going to do. So as soon as you commanded your own Pokémon, his lips quivered with silent commands. And immediately, his Arcanine started to run around, just as you'd predicted. But, he knew you wanted his Arcanine to run, so why'd he decide to send her off? Immediately though Slipp started to focus energy around himself, creating a thin layer of solid energy that we all know as Defense Curl. Lapras though kept her eyes on Arcanine, despite the Pokémon's speed, she was already predicting where he'd be moving to within the next ten seconds. So immediately, she prepared herself and lifted one of her flippers. Seven... Six... Five... Four... Three... Two... THWACK! ONE! She slammed her flipper against Slipp as he spun on the ground like a bowling ball, collecting in dirt and such before bouncing up off of a stone on the ground and angling his strike to the underside of Dawn's chin, causing the Pokémon's head to tilt upwards for a moment. Immediately Lapras took advantage of her opportunity to strike and release a powerful watergun and Dawn's body, causing the arcanine to topple over onto its side while Slipp uncoiled and went towards the Pokémon's underbelly, striking it in the gut rapidly causing the arcanine to coil into an almost spherical shape. "Apocolyptic Fang" The man's words came out suddenly as his Arcanine smiled and its fangs began to glow brightly with Gold and Bronze light as it bit down into Slipp and delivered a powerful jolt of electrical fire through the small Pokémon's body before tossing it aside and getting back up to its feet weakly, breathing heavily now as it watched Slipp twitch with paralysis. Soon enough though, Lapras was directly ahead of Duskull, shell turned to Arcanine to prevent it from using any attacks to thaw out its partner. Little did Lapras know though that the Sunny Day that had come into effect had already thawed out the small ghost. Dusk immediately leapt up and locked eyes with Lapras as he tried to use a Close-Ranged Night Shade in order to damage her more than one would think possible. But, in her shock, Lapras opened her mouth and released a powerful Water Gun which sent the small ghost back towards the ground, sliding until it hit a nearby stone. And for the first time in a while, you saw the man twitch with anger. Lv. 4 25/33 78% Slipp Lv. 5 9/35 78%[Defense +2] [Paralyzed] VS Dusk Lv. 5 14/35 79% Dawn Lv. 8 11/41 76%

As each stage of the round occurred, Ryan found himself with mixed emotions, although he had to admit that his plan had worked out exactly the way he wanted it to. He just wasn't prepared for this guy to actually have Dawn use a move to paralyze Slipp. Ryan had also forgotten that Dusk would have ended up being thawed out by Sunny Day, a mistake that he would have liked to have kicked himself for, but he didn't have the time to do so right now. If he lost the battle, then he could kick himself. But right now he had to focus on the current situation, and he was trying to think of a way from Slipp being fainted right away. This wasn't too good. His first idea was to have Lapras use a Water Gun to shoot Slipp right at Dawn, an attack that would have been surprising due to the fact that Slipp was so close to being out of commission. At least, if the roles were reversed, Ryan seriously doubted that he would think that the other trainer would end up doing something that seemed suicidal. But wouldn't that make it a really good idea? Under most conditions, Ryan would say so. However, since he really wanted to get into this place to find Jason, he couldn't make a mistake and end up losing one of his Pokémon. So that plan was out of the running, and Ryan thought harder, racking his brains. Then it hit him, and it was so simple he wanted to beat himself up for not thinking of it before. Sing would be perfect right now! Slipp was already paralyzed, so it wasn't like putting Slipp to sleep would do anything bad. Besides, if need be, Lapras could always wake Slipp up when needed. Once all of the other Pokémon were put to sleep, Ryan could easily have Lapras move Slipp somewhere where he'd be out of the way of any attacks. In order to be able to stay awake himself, though, Ryan would have to cover his ears, and that led him to realize that Dawn at least could do the same. Well Ryan would just have to make sure that Dawn couldn't do that, and in order to do that, Ryan would have to make sure that she was running, or doing something to fend off an attack. "Alright Lapras, you've done amazing so far, so no matter what you should be very proud of yourself, because I know I am! But Slipp really needs our help right now, and I think I know just how to do it! We need to make sure that we can put Dawn and Dusk to sleep, but in order to do that we need to make sure that they can't cover their ears. I'm not sure how Dusk could cover his, so we won't focus on him right now. Let's worry about Dawn first! Shoot a Water Gun at her to get her to either move out of the way, so she won't be able to cover her ears, or get hit by it, which could potentially eliminate her anyways! As soon as your Water Gun is shot, I want you to start your Sing, and don't stop until you see that Dawn and Dusk are both asleep! Once they are, I want you to go over and move Slipp lightly with a flipper and put him somewhere where he'll be out of the way! If this doesn't work, and Dawn isn't put to sleep for whatever reason, I want you to use a Mist to cover the area and keep them from seeing anything. That mixed with the Sunny Day should create a huge amount of fog." Well at least there was another method there. So no matter what, Ryan felt that he had a way to protect Slipp for now. Of course that was assuming that things actually worked out for him. But if one of the protective methods didn't work, then the other one would, right? Time could only tell, so Ryan put his fingers into his ears, blocking out any singing that Lapras would do. If he was extremely lucky, the other guy would be put to sleep too. Of course more likely than not, he would know exactly what was going on. Edited by DarkSlayer1331, Dec 8 2008, 11:29 AM.

Strategies, strategies, and more strategies. Did you ever think that a simple combination would do just as well? But, that's not for me to decide. It's your battle, so it is up to you what happens to your Pokémon. Regardless what I say, Slipp was still quite injured and in need of a break. Although, did you take into account the possibility that Slipp might not fall asleep? Your Lapras followed through with your orders, launching a Water Gun at Dawn. The man across from you still seemed calm as he said, "Block that, Dusk." The ghost floated over just in time to take the brunt of the Water Gun. That could have been game over, but the sheer force behind the water, nearly blasted the Duskull into Arcanine. Both Pokémon wound up getting sprayed, with Dawn panting, trying to get some heat built up to dry her fur. The majority of the attack might have been blocked, but she still took damage. Dusk was also looking a little worn down. The man then said, "Dusk, Night Shade on the Spheal. Dawn, Bite the Lapras." As they were preparing their attacks, your Lapras started singing. What a beautiful melody, or what little you could hear from having your ears covered. From your vantage point, you could see Dawn faultering in her steps, Slipp looked like he could roll over and sleep, and the man across from you started yawning. In a matter of moments, all three were fast asleep. Oh, wait, what about Dusk? He was still floating, but the red light was missing from inside. Duskull was floating and asleep, or it appeared that way. It might just be faking sleep. Have you ever seen a ghost sleep? Well, that seemed to work well, quite well actually. You currently have no opponent and one Pokémon still awake. Your Lapras then lightly pushed Slipp out of the way, via rolling. He seemed to be content sleeping off some of the paralysis, but it will probably take a trip to the Pokémon center to take care of that competely. So, now what will you do? Things couldn't have been better for Ryan if a bomb came down and killed just those three. Lapras's Water Gun was amazing, as it nailed Dusk and still hit Dawn somewhat too. Ryan was really happy about that, although he was afraid that now Sing wouldn't work as he had hoped. But when Dusk and Dawn were ordered to carry out attacks, he knew that Sing would work perfectly. And it did, or it seemed to, except Ryan wasn't positive that Dusk was asleep. It was hard to tell, since the only thing that might show the fact of it being awake was the red light for its eye. For all Ryan knew, Dusk could change that himself. When he looked over the battle ground, he knew that now was his chance to strike and finish this battle off once and for all. "Alright Lapras, this should be our last round! Hit Duskull with a Water Gun, and then finish Arcanine off with one too!" If they ended up being hit and knocked out, then Ryan would go and wake up the Pokémon's owner. He didn't want to just run right into the building. People might think that he wasn't allowed in then, and Ryan couldn't afford a chaos like that. After all, the last thing he wanted was for Jason to find out that he was there. Ryan just hoped that he'd get hold of Jason sooner rather than later so that he could finish this mission. |

Lapras let out a powerful Water Gun, the sleeping Pokémon did not move and Duskull was asleep but not quite, more like in a trance that was like sleep. Need I say more? Of course the Water Gun hit at full force waking the Pokémon, the water guns hit their marks, and both Pokémon faltered and then collapsed in exhastion. Congrats you had won. gained 65 and grew to Level 6! gained 85 and grew to level 5!Wow, some new levels, that's the way to teach them. Jason was stiring now, he was a light sleeper by the looks of it, he opened his eyes slowly and, realising where he was, picked himself up from the ground and dusted himself off. He returned his Pokémon and without a single word turned and walked away, he was gone before you even had a chance to talk to him. You moved to follow him, you had won had you not, a voice stopped you. "Stay where you are, you are not welcome yet, Jason does care little for the likes of street urchins." It was a womans voice, very posh sounding, it was above you in the shadows. You heard the whisper of cloth and a figure jumped down from and unknown ledge, window or whatever. She bore a strange symbol on her white trench coat, a black swisted sword and a silver wolf. "I have watched you for some time, I am Dakota, member of the Swiftfoot's. I have been following you, you must be mad to enter Jason's territory." Dakota had dark tanned skin etched with blue markings, it was like a tribeswoman in the middle of a city. "That man you just faced, he is called Goliath. He is a giant of Jason's band of savages. He has gone to report to one higher up than he, one very close to Jason. They will return soon, but if you move into the territory furthur you will be hunted, and if caught you will be chained, killed or worse." Dakota shivered, and you felt that she knew something. That was when you noticed her hands, she was missing a finger on her left hand and her right was badly scarred, the markings were similar to something you had seen on a newspaper cover. A picture near an article of torture. Dakota spoke again, this time with sadness in her voice "My daughter was taken by Jason and his gang. My husband, a group of Swiftfoots and myself tried to rescue her, I was to only one to survive. Now I rest on the edge of his territory warning those not to enter unless beckoned." This woman had been tortured and her friends and family killed by Jason. Was it the truth or the ramblings of a mad woman? Here is your chance to find out, for at that moment you saw the man you had just defeated and a tall thing man behind him, and floating around his head was a malisious Mismagius, will you run? Will you hide? Will you stay and see what happens? You decide, clocks ticking. |

Ryan would have followed the man he had just defeated, except that a woman told him that he wasn't yet welcomed. He'd like to know how the hell she would know that when he had specifically told him that he'd only be welcomed if he was able to prove his worth. And of course to prove his worth he had to defeat the guard guy in battle, which he did. But now he was being told by someone else that he wasn't welcome, and that was nothing more than a bunch of bull as far as Ryan was concerned. When she told him her little sob story, he figured that she wasn't doing anything but ruining his mission. Clearly she wouldn't know how everything here worked, she wasn't part of this gang. Maybe he should make sure though, just in case. "Goliath, huh?" Ryan said to her with a smirk. "Sorry, but I think you have the wrong guy. My name's not David." He gave a small chuckle, though he knew that would probably make her think he didn't have any respect for her. "Just trying to make light of the situation. After all, I'm not one for the dark and dreary kind of things. But I do have a question for you. Why have you been watching me? I'm really nothing that special." Indeed, even though this woman seemed to see only the negative side of things, Ryan was curious as to why she was watching him. Surely there was a better explanation than he had just stumbled by on Jason's property. Although again, she could very well be a part of Jason's band, in which case she might be trying to see what it is that Ryan wants from this gang. However, she won't ever find out if Ryan could help it. All he had to do was keep with his story and everything should turn out all right. Ryan figured that a fake name would also probably be good to have in case these guys wanted to tell Jason about him. Justin Markwell would suit just fine, as that was the name of a friend of his back in the day. When Goliath came back with someone who was supposedly his higher up, Ryan kept his eyes peeled for any tattoos that they might have. If they had the same tattoo that this woman had, then Ryan would know that she was just a part of them as well. And then he'd know not to trust her words, as her warning could then be just another test of theirs to see if someone was really worthy of joining Jason's gang. Either way, he knew that he wasn't going to run. Let's just see what's going to happen before we make a decision. |

The man you now know as Goliath soon emerged from the building with a tall thin man as well. Oh, this could turn out badly. However, instead of sending you on your way, the new man turned to the woman and said, "We did no such thing, now get out of here, woman." As far as you could tell, there was no tattoo, but he's not too friendly anyway. He then turned to you and said, "You have proven yourself worthy to enter, so come." Not much of a talker, that one. The Mismagius floated around, watching everyone, but did nothing. It must be the new man's Pokémon. As you were led inside, you could see boxes and crates galore. Some were open and you could see their contents. Some had money, others had weapons, and most of the rest had drugs. Just what kind of opperation was Jason running here? The duo took you to a small room with nothing but a chair and an overhead light. The new man again spoke, "Jason will be here to see you soon." With that, they shut the door. Moments later, and you were up and trying the door. It was locked, but the door looked weak. Although there was a good sized air vent in the corner of the room. Soon you could hear a door slam from the air vent. Speaking followed and it sounded like the man, Goliath, and Jason! You couldn't quite make out what they were saying, but your name popped up a couple of times. Maybe it could be possible to crawl through the air vent to get to Jason. He wouldn't expect that. A bit after that, the two men left, leaving Jason in the room by himself. Now is the time to take your revenge. You just have to get through the air vent, which could take a little enginuity. So, will you take him on again? |

Ryan couldn't help but smirk at the fact that the men here didn't want to admit to murder and such. They would steal, but God forbid they take a man's life, no matter how many times Ryan has been told that they have and would in a heartbeat. But all that aside, he was glad that they were just waving the woman away and taking Ryan into the headquarters. Finally, he was in the building that Jason was supposedly in, and it wouldn't be too long before he could be all done with this. At least Ryan hoped so. It seemed like this had been going on for days, even though it's really only been a few hours. Upon entry to a room, Ryan looked around and noticed that there was an air vent, which he decided he'd use when he found that the door wouldn't open for him. When he heard Jason in the other room, his heart leaped and he felt adrenaline pumping in his veins. The other two guys were talking to him for a little bit, and then they left Jason in the room. It was weird that Jason was in the room by himself though, and he wondered why he wasn't coming in to see him. Ryan then realized that Jason didn't know his name anyways, so even if the guards had his real name it wouldn't matter. Quickly, Ryan went over to the air vent and bit his lip, hoping that he wouldn't get stuck in it. Closing his eyes and breathing in deep, Ryan set about on his way to the room Jason was in. Getting into the air vent was a piece of work, as Ryan wasn't used to having to do something like this. But he got in eventually, and hoping he wouldn't get stuck started to crawl forward slowly and carefully. He didn't want to make any sounds to tip Jason off that someone was in there, and if he felt himself getting stuck, he wanted to be able to pull back out slowly. However, he was seriously hoping he could bust in on the room and surprise Jason. If he did manage to get into the room, Ryan would immediately say the code "Dead On" to let the police know that he was with Jason. They would then start their way to where he was, and where Jason would obviously be. Ryan would also send out either Phanpy or Growlithe into battle, since he was sure Jason would immediately send one out. He would choose whichever one would be the best to use against whoever Jason sent out. If Jason used two Pokémon, then Ryan would send both of them out. Either way, Ryan was really hoping he could use Growlithe, because he remembered the inspector saying that it was trained for battle. ((OOC: Racer, Falcon never gave me the stats for the Growlithe. All I know is he said it's supposed to be trained for battle, so it could possibly have some egg move(s) that I'm not yet aware of. Other than that, I don't know gender or level. It's not in my profile because I'm just borrowing it unless they decide I can keep it after they get Jason)) |

You worked your way through the short cross section of air vent. There was a short moment of panic when you did get stuck, but you sucked in you gut and kept moving. Seriously, breathing in when crawling into tight spaces, bad choice. You should be glad the vent is so big. You finally reached the other vent and bashed it out with a fist. Or, at least it sounded like that with the sound echoing off the walls of the metal vent. Regardless, the path is now open to Jason's office. You quickly crawl out and stand up, saying your code word. Surprised, Jason jumps up and says, "Woah, where did you come from? Wait, I remember you. My Seel creamed your Spheal. So, what are you here for, another battle? I'll mop the floor with you." Jason then walked over to the opposite wall of his office, and grabbed a pokeball from his waist. He continued speaking, "I suppose you should know. I won't go easy on you this time. Go, Treecko." From his pokeball, came a Treecko. He definetly had an air of conficence about him. Lv 10 ![]() Maybe it would be a good idea to use Growlithe here. You quickly scanned his pokeball with the poketch to find that he's Lv. 8 with a move set of "Bite, Roar, Ember, and Heat Wave." Ah, hah. Growlithe does have an egg move. That will definetly come in handy. Police Pokémon sure are trained to be the best. So, what will you do now? |
