Arriving by what ever way you got here was boring. And this journey start is boring. Really, this town is boring. This whole RP is kinda getting boring. K, plot time.

A large crowd of people could be seen up the road a bit, cars stopped dead in the streets. All around yelling and screaming could be heard, emulating from the crowd of people.

But who cares? An incandescent flash of light just occurred on the other side of the road. Why? BECAUSE.

Aside from this crap of a post, there's a cool pokémon hovering over there. Check it out y/n?

Inspecting it anyways, you could see a cute little brown fuzz ball just kinda chillin'.

:eevee :male Lv.8

Dood, catch that shit!

[Srsly, he needed this. He waited like 4 days. Anyone copy me and do this again I'll kill them. I'll kill them so hard. Well, they'll die.]

Blast the damn ferry staff and their petty ignorance. Couldn't even get me a stinkin' pina colada. I kept my grudge at the waiters on the S.S Anne for not having even a decent level of service. If they were going to run a cruise ship business like that then they should work on getting more sophisticated waiters instead of those acne-infested dork teens. I kept cursing at those bottom-feeders when I got off the docks and entered Hurst.

Looks like one of those Traction Cities I've read in one of my books. I couldn't help but cough and pound at my chest from inhaling the black dust shrouding the streets. The sky almost seemed red and blood-like even though it isn't suppose to be evening right now.

Crap, what the hell was that? Just up the road from where I was standing was a line stretched with cars and angry looking people yelling and shouting from inside their vehicles and on the streets as well. Out from all that, a sudden flash beamed and immediately vanished from the other side of the road.

What the hell is going on around here?! Why is... oh, what do we have here? I wanted to investigate the problem at hand and try to calm the civilians from the wave of ruckus, but then I found myself a peculiar Pokémon just sitting where the flash had emanated from. I was curious to find out what it was so I ignored the people and there pleas and neared the little fuzzball.

On closer inspection (hiding behind a parked car) I noticed the species this creature was. An Eevee! What an opportunity! But from what I remember from my studies these little critters can escape from any situation pretty easily. I have to secure it before it runs away. But how...

I thought for what seemed like an hour but really was only a ten seconds then I devise a simple strategy to battle and catch the Eevee. I silently released Ariana from her pokeball and she appeared right beside me with a quizzical look on her face. I took a quick glance at the Eevee to make sure it hasn't left it's post and then began giving instructions to Ariana.

"Alright, Ariana, see that Pokémon over there? We are going to try and catch that little feller and make him one of ours. This is what I want you to do: quietly move over to the other side of where I'm going to move to and wait there until you hear me shout. If you see the Eevee heading either towards you or just someone that you can see it than fly over above him and block it's path.

"Immediately use Growl to make it flinch. If it keeps on running then use Agility to chase after it. Wait to get close enough and then dive after it and when you are right behind it, collide into it with a hard Skull Bash. I'll come after you and see what happens. You ready?"

Ariana shook her head up and down to show that she knows and scanned her potential opponent. I did the same to see whether or not this Eevee will be serious about battling. I matted down Ariana's feathers and then she flew away quietly to wait for the signal. When I knew she was far enough, I stood up and heading forward towards the Eevee shouting after it, hoping that this goes well.

As the sound of your shouting reached his ears, the Eevee raised his head up, staring at you like you were a maniac. Technically, you were acting like one, but meh, details. Perking his ears up, the little Eevee started moving away from you at a brisk trot. He was just about to turn into an alley when...

"HOOTHOOT!"

Ariana appeared, Growling at the surprised Eevee. With a yelp, the little fox-like fuzzball took off down the alley in fear. Keeping true to your orders, your Hoothoot then sped up using an Agility to catch up to the running brown...thing. Spurred on by fear and your bird's unrelenting pursuit, the Eevee used his own Agility to speed away from your owl.

Clicking her beak in indignance, Ariana put on an extra burst of speed and lowered her skull. Flying as fast as her stubby wings would allow her, she sped towards the Eevee as the crown of her head was shielded in white light. With a quick screech, her Skull Bash met its mark and knocked the Eevee aside, sending it skidding down the alley and into a garbage bin. Ow.

Slightly dazed, the Eevee was picking himself up when you witnessed Ariana's own downfall. The bird didn't stop charging, and now crashed into a grimy brick wall and dropped in a heap of feathers. She quickly staggered back to her feet, ruffling her feathers impatiently. Nothing was going to get her down that easily.

Not even a half-dazed Eevee with a forming goose egg on his head could best her that easily.

*Huff puff* God those two got far. I wouldn't have thought that Ariana's Agility would make her that fast with that pair of stubby wings. I just hope that those two haven't gotten ugly without me there to see it. That'd be a real letdown seeing as this isn't just a common Rattata fight.

I ran with a heavy pants synchronized with my every step. The things I have to wear in the summer is surprisingly tight and really warm, too. I just had to have all this ghost hunting gear on now when the sun is still high. Good thinking, Tony. Now you're going to melt before you even have a chance to see who wins this battle.

I turned left into the alleyway where I heard Ariana's Growl as planned and rushed in to find her and the Eevee. Thank god, it's still here. Right inside a waste bucket was the stray brown chinchilla or whatever it was with a growing goose egg on it's head. Looks almost in fatigue and also quite vulnerable.

I have to make a move soon before this thing regains full consciousness and will be able to fight back more effectively. I switched my attention over to Ariana who was impatiently smoothing out her feathers in wait for my next commands. I wonder if that crash into the wall hurt as much as I think it did. Ack, no time for that! I have to catch this Pokémon! I slipped myself over to Ariana's side and began to give my instructions.

"Ariana, this enemy you are confronting is a very rare, indeed. I want you to do everything you can to take it down but not as far as to completely knocking it out so I can catch it and you can get a new friend."

Ariana nodded but without much interest in receiving a new friend.

"Well, then, here are your instructions: Take a couple of feet into the air and then dive at the dazed Eevee over there and crash into it with a full-powered Tackle. When you get it to pause or flinch for a few seconds, head over to wherever it lands and use Peck on it's head or legs. Short and simple. You ready to go out?"

Again, Ariana nodded but with more enthusiasm this time knowing that she'll be able to do more roughhousing with her newfound opponent. I'm glad that my old girlfriend had chosen such a spirited bird as her partner. *Sigh* I wish she was still alive to enjoy this...

By this time, the Eevee had risen to his feet unsteadily. Turning to face both of you, he gave a threatening "Vee..." as his ears flattened against his head. In short, you had officially pissed him off. Good job. He tensed his body, waiting for you to make a move.

Ariana took off into the air, circled, and then nose-dived into a full-body Tackle towards the Eevee. The little furry Pokémon took into account that he was still in a filthy garbage can and could use this to his advantage. Right before your Hoothoot hit him, he quickly started using Sand-Attack to shovel some of the gunk in her face.

Screeching in surprise, Ariana fluttered off-course and skidded to a halt a few feet away from the garbage can. She was partially covered in muck; even though sand hadn't actually been used, the effect of lowered accuracy still resided; yet, it was also negated by her Keen Eye ability. Personally, I'd give the bird a bath ASAP. But first, this lovely battle was in order.

Taking advantage of this, the Eevee lowered his head and charged at Ariana with a Headbutt. Your owl had been able to clean the grime off of her eyes, so she saw the attack coming and tried to shift her position. Yet, the Eevee still glanced her with his attack. Turning around in rage, Ariana went suicidal and used a Peck on the Eevee; she didn't care if she missed or not. Revenge was a key word here. Needless to say, some of her shots did come into contact with the Eevee.

The score was almost even. Will you be able to come out on top?

Ah, god, that thing got back it's feet pretty fast and steadily, too. It was only seconds after the Eevee was dazed had Ariana sprung into action. How swiftly it reacted to her ambushing him at such a time was more than beginner's work. Ariana was still completely at an advantage, I believe, but she won't be for much longer if I keep underestimating this Pokémon's intellect.

Ariana was still spraying the Eevee with a multitude of pecks so the brown fox will be kept busy for awhile while I think up of something. I lifted the hand with my Poketch attached to it and clicked on the slot labeled "Hoothoot". Weight- 46.7 lb.. Sounds heavy enough to me. Then I typed in for "Eevee". Weight-14.3 lb.. Perfect. This will work fine.

I figured out a quickly thought-out strategy that may or may not work depending on the energy this Pokémon has left to expel. If I plan this right, Eevee should become vulnerable enough for a second attack and I should be able to take it out. I just need to keep the attack moderate enough so it doesn't completely wreck the Eevee.

"Ariana, get back over here now so I can give you your next instructions. Good, let me wipe off that muck. Alright, so this is what I'm planning: You will fly up again and circle around while speeding up with Agility. Every time the Eevee tries to attack you, simply evade and continue flying wait for it to wear out so when it becomes absolutely tired I want you to dive in yet again after you lock in your aim and fire yourself at it with a Body Slam in mind.

"You'll be tired after flying, I know, but try to keep hanging in the air until you really feel like you're at the end of your rope. Then aim and use the attack. You ready, girl?"

Ariana thought about it for a few seconds with unsure thoughts but came out with a readied nod and flew into the air. This maybe the longest turn of the battle unless that Eevee is already worn out or will be soon. I hope Ariana will be able to keep herself up long enough.

Ariana immediately took to your word and used Agility to raise her speed even further. Fluttering around, soon she was nothing more than a brown blur as she sped around the alley. She glared at the Eevee angrily, ready to finish this when she had to.

The whole time, the Eevee had been leaping around, futilely trying to Bite the owl as she annoyingly zoomed around his head. Snapping at the bird, all the Eevee ever got in his mouth was air, and a couple of tail feathers now and again.

Slightly exhausted and unable to follow Ariana's movements, the Eevee finally sat down and gave up for the time being on trying to catch her; he'd just wait for her to make a move. Indeed, your Hoothoot moved forward full force with Body Slam, so fast that the Eevee couldn't track it.

Squeaking in discontent, the Eevee was flattened under Ariana's superior bulk. He struggled to get out from under her, but her weight prevailed. The attack was so severe as to evoke the Eevee with paralysis, leaving him numb and motionless for the time being.

A bit more damage done to the Eevee wouldn't hurt before trying to catch it. That was in sight now, since he was pretty well paralyzed and somewhat immobile.

Whoa, that was so AWESOME! Ariana's display of attacks was exactly that. The moves came out just as I planned and now all Ariana needs to do is weaken it one last time to make her mark and give me the chance to catch the dwindled down fox.

"That was great, Ariana! Just spectacular! Umm, you can get off the Eevee now."

Ariana tilted her head quizzically not knowing what an Eevee was since I mostly referred to it as just Pokémon.

"Uh, never mind. Maybe it's better not to get off it. Just keep sitting there until I tell you to get off."

Before I gave Ariana the last orders to end the battle, I did a close-up observation of the Eevee and checked on it's conditions. Hmm, still alive but practically motionless. Didn't know Hoothoots could be so darn fat. I rubbed and matted it's fur for a bit and then stood up again with Ariana perched on my right arm and pulled out an empty pokeball with my left.

"Alright, one last thing before I throw the net. Go down next to the small Pokémon and Bite on it without going to far. Don't clench it. Don't crunch it. Just sink in your teeth regularly to make the Pokémon feel pain for a few seconds and then let go. I'll throw the pokeball at it when you're done."

It was set. I had my first Pokémon battle with a rare creature and have conquered it. Unless it was only playing dead, this doggy is mine. Stay still, you. Being a stray is no way to live.

The little Eevee thrashed helplessly under Ariana, although he barely seemed to lift a finger...er, paw. He moaned a little "Vee..." of pain; he was quite frightened, as he didn't know what would happen to him next. Apparently, he'd never been owned by anyone before. The little guy was now too weak to attack, and that worked to your advantage just fine.

Ariana gave the squirming fox-thing a cold glare, ticked off that she'd be receiving less attention from now on. Raising her sharp beak, she bit down on the Eevee's tail. The creature squirmed in helplessness, and with an almighty heave, finally managed to dislodge your Hoothoot. Yet, the Eevee sat there panting, too weak to do much else.

Reluctantly, Ariana fluttered back to you, jealousy still pounding through her body. She glared at her nemesis, and was finally resigned to the fact that you were going to catch it. No matter; she'd learn to put up with it, right?

You now took the opportunity to fling the Pokeball into the air. In a flash of red light, the Eevee was sucked into the Pokeball. The spherical orb hit the ground and violently shook for a few moments. The whole time, everything seemed to stand still as you waited for the Eevee to be confined.

*Ding!*

You had caught the Eevee! After such a battle, I'd try to find a Pokémon Center and heal your Pokémon. Ariana wasn't in too bad of shape, but the Eevee could definitely use some treatment. A nickname may be in order, too, but that could wait until later.

Ariana gained 104 :exp and grew to Level 6!

Well, this deserves a journal entry. Maybe I'll write about this later. The illuminating light on the empty pokeball's tab faded back and left a sudden ding! after it was gone. I just couldn't believe I caught a Pokémon of a higher rank then my Ariana and defeated a very rare Pokémon one in the same.

It just felt so good to have such luck on my very first time battling, but I knew I had to ditch this wasted gap and get to Pokémon center to heal both this Eevee and Ariana. I signaled Ariana to perch back on my shoulder and she loyally obeyed with the still great discomfort for the Eevee. I'll have to make sure these two get along before I get into one of those double battles I've been studying.

I dropped the pokeball encased Eevee into my pokeball compartment inside my GETAgrip backpack and trotted out of the alleyway with a simple question in mind: What should I name the little guy? The names of the Roman and Greek gods were a bit overused as well as japanese names, so I had to think for awhile before getting a decent name that was so common.

Walking around with a map plastered in front of my face, I made my way around person after person and turn after turn and ended up in front of the sliding doors of the Pokémon center. I entered satisfied that I had found the center so quickly within such a huge city and looked for a bench or an empty spot where I could interact with Ariana and Eevee in peace.

I took a seat next to a pillar and released both Ariana and Eevee just to find the two of them growling at each other. I flashed a cheerful smile and patted both of their heads and said, "I know you two are really, well, incompatible, but try to get passed that and try to make friends with each other. How about that?"

They ignored my suggestion and continued to glare and bare their teeth at each other. I wasn't one to let my temper go array but I lost it and beamed, "If you two don't make up for the battle..." I exchanged my gleeful face to a more scornful and grimacing expression, "bad things will happen that I won't become responsible for. So if you two value your damn, insignificant lives, then you'd better listen to me or so help me god I'll chop off your heads and feed them to the Pidgeys."

Eevee stood still, and then laughed at my threats because he didn't know what I was capable of and where my insights would reach. Ariana did, however, and immediately tried to shake arms/wings/paws with Eevee but he declined be swiping her wing away. I sighed and pulled the Eevee to my side and said to it, "Look, now that you're going to be coming along with me for adventures and such, I'd better see you make progress with Ariana, ok? That's all I ask and it shouldn't be that hard for you."

If the Eevee understood, he didn't show it. He simply sat their with a puzzled expression that did not show either rejection or acceptance. Again I sighed and said, "You remind me of a friend that I used to have back in Saffron. His name was Cole and he would always be as stubborn as a mule and really tough, too. But in the end, he always was a great friend to be with. I hope you are that kind of Pokémon. So I'll name you Cole and see if that name will stick perfectly with you."

The Eevee lowered his head and thought about the idea and replied with a gentle shrug and a clear Vee that must've meant yes if that grin meant anything. I grinned back and responded to his grin.

"Alright, that's good. I just hope you two get along or it'll be hard to do anything. But for now I want you two to get healed up so we can get going. So back into your pokeballs."

I pressed the button on both pokeballs and both of my partners were sealed back into the capsules. I stood up and headed towards the free-use healing machine and placed both pokeballs into the recovery slots and pressed the button to start the healing process. Oh, boy. Cole was quite a jackass back when I was around can't believe he's already on his seventh badge back in the Kanto region. I wonder how that misguided fellow is doing.

Entering the Pokémon Center, you sat down on a bench and worked out a truce between your Pokémon and their hostility towards each other. After working that out and determining a name for your new Eevee, you went to look for a self-use healing machine...but there wasn't one here! Apparently, you had to wait your turn like the other trainers.

After a few minutes, a Chansey came by and collected your Pokeballs. Taking them to a back room, she used one of the private healing machines there. Placing your Pokeballs into the rounded slots, the Chansey pushed a few buttons. The two Pokeballs flashed a few times before an audible *ding!* was heard. Your Pokémon had been healed and had been checked out for injuries; there wasn't anything serious.

So...What to do now? You had just healed your Pokémon, so the city was once again opened to your exploration. There were plenty of places to see and go, but it was up to you where you wanted to go.

"AAAAAAAAHH! My wallet!" a man exclaimed from near you as you exited onto the street. An Absol made off with his wallet, carrying who-knows-what-sort of stolen valuables in its mouth. Since Absol weren't often found in urban areas, this had to belong to someone.

:absol :male Lv. 10

So...Going to tail it, or just forget about the whole deal?

Wait, what happened to the free-use healing machine?! Oh, it's another illusion gone to my head... Before the blood that would usually rush to my head blinded me into thinking that the machine I was using was the free-use healing machine which was actually just a box with some childish drawings on it flushed out of my head, I emptied my pokeballs into the box without knowing it and quickly swiped them back out before anyone started snickering.

I walked humiliated with my lack of concentration and stood in line to get my Pokémon healed for awhile until my turn came up. I handed my Pokémon to the nurse left to take care of receiving the customer's Pokémon and sending them back to the private recovery laboratories to heal. Shortly after I placed my Pokémon in the hands of the nurses, one of them returned with an amiable smile and left returning my Pokémon.

Ah, the joy of owning these wonderful animals. Fulfilling my dream to exterminate every single evil spirit in the world will become easier when I catch and train my dream team. Hey, what was that? A scream sounded through the main foyer of the Pokécenter and my body just spontaneously leaped outside so curious to see what the commotion was about.

A seemingly startled man was standing outside of the Pokécenter with an expression that said that he lost something of valuable importance. And from his hollow and yet dense shouting he must have lost his wallet. But who or what could have taken it so swiftly from wherever the guy put the wallet?

I was about to ask him but it was pointless to ask someone that stunned. But the answer came along riding the back of the mysterious Absol that was running up the street hoping to get away from anything that was chasing it. Wait, I've never even heard of such a majestic Pokémon living in such an urban region of land. I wonder where this beast is from.

There was a very unlikely chance that any Pokémon that is so wild it has a tremendous beard or whatever that is growing off it's chest would be even be sighted here. And even if that small amount actually did result in one being inside the heart of the city, it wouldn't go off stealing other people's crap unless it had a master to train it to.

I grunted with displeasure and began chasing down the theft and hopefully the theft's controller. If I somehow contain this criminal Pokémon, I'd better get a rational reward for the use of my assistance. You shouldn't go off losing wallets like that and not paying the person who retrieved it for you for the favor.

I summoned my Pokémon from their capsules and they stood still for a moment until they saw me running up the streets and hastily tried to catch up. The two were nearly exhausted from trying to keep up with me while I had a head start so I scooped them into my arms and began running towards the perpetrator again.

The only way I'll be able to catch up with that goon is if either Ariana or Cole can speed up ahead of me and slow it down so I could trap it completely. Too bad non of their attacks include dash tackles. Or do they?

"Ariana, I'm going to need you to fly up and try not to fall behind. If you do, just use Agility to stay with us."

I tossed Ariana into the air and she flew right above my head with ease. Cole snuggled closer into my vest to keep from falling off. I activated my Poketch's Pokémon finder and looked up "Eevee attack list". From what I found, Quick Attack was the best way to go if I wanted to make sure this dog doesn't go any further.

"Cole. Right now we are trying to stop that big, white Pokémon up the street, ok?"

Cole nodded excitedly to know that he was going to be hunting down a criminal.

"Alright, you understand, good. Now I'm going to drop you so you can do the following and restrain the Pokémon first so I can make it stop running. When I drop you, I want you to use Agility twice to speed up exponentially and then when you are a few feet behind the Pokémon, pounce at it and use Tackle. This move is called Quick Attack and I want you to try learning it while using these attacks. I'll catch up to you so we can use all we can to take down the Absol. If you can do all that, you'll be able to learn a cool new attack, ok?"

Cole was definitely jumpy now that he heard the word "cool, new attack". He was waiting for some action and now he finally going to get some. Readying himself, I launched him into the ground and he drove away towards the Absol with super fast legs.

"God, that's fast!"

If I play my cards right, I'll be able to get some heavy experience for my teammates, a lovely reward for my assistance, and maybe a new move that I can use for Cole. I just hope it all falls into place. I just feel so glee that I might be able to punch and kick a Pokémon into knocking out.

While Ariana struggled to keep up with her bulk and stubby wings, you were trying to teach Cole Quick Attack. You wouldn't lose sight of the Absol with Ariana on air patrol, so you could relax for the time being and train the Eevee. Quick Attack was going to be a useful move...if the little brown fox-thing could learn it.

Squinting his eyes, the Eevee started speeding towards the Absol. Boosting his limbs with not one, but two Agilities, Cole ran at the fleeing Absol. The Eevee was quite confident that he could track down his quarry until he tried to move into the Tackling phase. Immediately, he instinctively slowed down to use Tackle accurately, yet he also tried to avoid this and keep Agility in use.

The attempt sorta worked, but he lost some control and slowed down enough before using Tackle. As a result, he missed hitting the Absol completely. Huffing angrily, he kept running after the Absol, counting on you and Ariana to help him.

Meanwhile, Ariana had been using her own Agility to keep up with the Absol, who was now turning into a grimy alley. A small, ancient wooden door was at the end and, oddly enough, it was open. As she waited for you to get there, she flew in front of the advancing Absol and sideswiped him with one of her claws.

The pain was enough to make the white dog stop long enough to see what had assaulted him. Growling angrily, he advanced towards the Hoothoot; he would not let her jeopardize his mission. Ariana twittered nervously, hoping that you'd get there soon...

(You'll get there by the time Cole learns Quick Attack)

I knew the Tackle attack wasn't the best choice if we are trying to hunt down the perpetrator as such a time. I have to be more careful about my orders when I'm trying to teach my teammates a new move. I'll just teach Cole Quick Attack later on when we get the Absol in a corner.

It was a pretty bad idea trying to have Cole do a stunt like that and another one in the same instant. The two Agilities were successful in catching up to the criminal's pet but the Tackle wasn't reassuring as it slowed down Cole's momentum too heavily on his part. But now that he's gotten an idea of how Quick Attack is done, it will be easier to teach him on.

Right now I'm much more worried about Ariana after she and that Absol curved into an alleyway right up the street. If the Absol were to do anything horrifying to her while in that alley, then I might have to make some assaults to it. It'd just better pray that it didn't rough up Ariana to a high extent.

I increased my sprinting speed into a concentrated dash with my leg muscles pumping like engines so I could get to the alleyway before anything bad happens. Cole and I met up at the entrance of where Ariana and the Absol came into and followed their trail. The ground as well as the walls were filthy and effected Cole a lot more than me because of his sensitive nose.

Cole and I found the two engaging in a race towards a small, century furnished door at the end of the grimy path and opening into a tall brick wall. Ariana kept using close-combat strikes in hopes of slowing down the Absol but only annoyed it into a silent outrage. This is when Ariana became utterly frightened because she knew what a monster of this magnitude could do to her.

The extended claws on that Absol made me faint inside but I hastily said the four syllables that will save Ariana from having three deep gashes in her wings.

"Get back here, NOW!!!"

Ariana snapped out of her trance and quickly used another Agility to get away from the clutches of the Absol. But before she made it all the way back, the Absol took a swipe at her round body and grazed her just a bit but did not make her fall. She made it back onto my shoulder and perched with exhaustion from the summer heat and the combat exercises.

I had no time to make up a thorough decision about how I would stabilize the Absol's strength and speed so my mind stirred through an imaginative library and looked for the best decisive strategy to beat this Absol it could find in the first five seconds.

"Ariana: taunt the Absol by Pecking it a few time. Cole: You go in as Ariana Pecks Absol and use Agility to pass by Absol and just touch him with a side of your body as you run by. The two of your circle him and try to make him dizzy with another Agility by the two of you.

"Ariana should go in for a Headbutt after the Absol starts to stagger. Cole should leap forward after Ariana Headbutts and use another Tackle to flatten the beast. This will be a hard battle if you two don't cooperate, so do your best to work together on this one. My hurts enough as it is."

I knew my plan wasn't going to work since this Pokémon practically a messenger of disasters and would be able to avoid so much contact. But I have enough faith in my Pokémon that they will be able to inflict a numbered amount of damage on this Pokémon's flesh. After that, I can see where that door leads to and catch the culprit of this fiasco.

Instantly, Ariana took off and circled; at first, she had trouble getting close to the Absol, but she managed to irritate the beast with a few well-placed Pecks at his head. Batting at her with his paws, the Absol succeeded in knocking his tormentor back towards you. This dazed Ariana a bit, but it wasn't enough to cause any real harm. At this time, Cole simply used Agility and side-swiped the Absol on one of his legs, but the dark type didn't notice.

Glaring in Ariana's direction, the threatened Absol used a Leer attack. Yet, this was ignored as both used another Agility and circled around the Absol. Confused, the dog tried to follow their patterns, but was quite dizzy and stopped circling after a few moments. He merely watched in slight confusion and boredom as two brown blurs were rapidly circling him.

Quite suddenly, both decided to attack at once. Ariana zoomed in from one direction, her head bowed in the form of a Headbutt. Cole shot from the opposite direction with a Tackle. Luckily, the Absol didn't think to duck, otherwise your Pokémon would've collided head-on with each other. Instead, the poor dark type was smashed between both like a sandwich. Ow...

Still dazed, thank your lucky stars that the Absol was currently too dazed to attack you. Not only that, but Cole had gotten more of a gist on how to use Quick Attack. Not bad so far, I'd say.
