Well, I don't know about you, but it seemed that Koda needed a little bit of restraint. Letting him paint on walls was amusing until one remembered that why you were here. After that, things went a little south. Regardless, Koda finished his abstract art on the wall before anyone came back in. Now, I know you think its amusing, but I doubt the gallery owner will agree with you.

So he returned from wherever he went and with him came a young man in a white coat, splattered with paint blotches everywhere. He wore a felt beret that disguised his eyes and much of his face. "This is Alexandre, resident painter of Wayford Art Gallery. Much of the work you saw out there is his, and all of it in here is his. Alexandre has been wanting help around here for a while and since you need to pay me back, you'll do." Okay. This whole thing gets weirder by the minute, don't you think? Unpaid labor is like slavery which is illegal. Would you accept it?

Suddenly, before you could make a response, the young man noticed your 'artwork.' Since you still held that paintbrush in your hand, he immediately accused you. How unfair. He screamed, "NO! THE WALLS ARE NOT CANVASES! YOU CAN'T HAVE PAINTED ON THE WALL!" He began to advance towards you slowly and angrily.

As the man got angry, somehow, he became more familiar. You had known him for what? A little over an hour and now he was becoming familiar? How odd. Something strange is afoot here, and like it or not, you're in over your head. If you could piece together what was going on before he got close enough, it might save you some pain. If not, the young man was very very angry and going to give out a lot of hurt.

This girl will pay, you seemed to hear in your mind, reminiscent of olden days.

Sybil spun to face the two men entering the studio, her mind already formulating an excuse for the graffiti art, but she never had time to speak. The gallery owner introduced the artist before either of them noticed the painting. Sybil opened her mouth again to explain, but the painter was instantly pissed off. Oops. Sybil shot a look at Koda, who only grinned and shrugged in return. This is the second time she was screamed at today. Sybil desperately needed an Advil.

As the painter advanced, Sybil backed up. She was actually so intimidated that she was momentarily speechless. It was at this point that Koda jumped in and stood between Sybil and the artist, growling. However, within seconds he started to look familiar to both Sybil and Koda, and both froze and squinted in sync. Who was he? Sybil couldn’t see with that obnoxious beret on; Koda had nothing against berets, but he was annoyed as well. Koda looked back at Sybil, his gaze prompting her to speak up. It was the one thing the Pokémon couldn’t do for her.

With a deep breath, Sybil consented. “Wait! Hold on a sec. Do I know you?” Sybil chewed her lip nervously. Her mind was blanking. All she could think was that the look she was getting reminded her of her childhood. “Did you ever live in Wayford, by any chance?” By the end of the sentence, her voice was quavering. She couldn’t figure out who she knew that shared her interest in art, but she hoped the guy could calm down enough to notice the familiarity too…

(( That was a terrible post. >< I’m so sorry. I haven’t had my muse lately ._. ))

(The painter has said nothing yet. The guy who brought you here is advancing on you.)

The man continued to advance on you until you spoke. Then, he stopped dead in his tracks. The young man looked at you, and said, "Wait. Wait just a minute. Your voice sounds incredibly familiar. Could it be? You found me by accident? And I messed it all up?"

That was odd. He seemed really confused by all of this. While he was confused, he gave you time to think. The man was very familiar. His confusion seemed to make him all the more familiar to you. I won't spoil the secret, but I'll give you a minor hint. This man was closer to you than blood. Good luck on figuring it out.

(( Woops. ^^; Sorry about that, I misread. ))

When the young man stopped, Sybil had time to recover. She gained some confidence when he noticed the familiarity as well. Close eyes, just breathe, stand up straighter- Holding on to her dignity, Sybil met the young man’s eyes. What did he mean, ‘you found me by accident’? So she did know him from somewhere—

Sybil’s eyes widened. Wait a second- everything suddenly made sense. The guy’s sudden outbursts, her being able to read his mind when he advanced on her, the familiarity in his features- could she have found him this early? Sybil nearly hit a level of hysteria. Her stomach clenched and she just wanted to laugh, but she held still until the moment passed. Her eyes stayed trained on the young man, looking for more signs that she was correct.

“…Jordan?” Sybil breathed, finally relaxing her muscles. She felt sure about this, nonetheless her stomach remained queasy. The disappointment would be painful if she was wrong. “Is that really you?” If that’s him, he’s really grown up. Sybil thought, though the shock was keeping her from seeing too clearly.

Koda’s brows snapped together as he looked skeptically from Sybil to the man. He wasn’t jumping to conclusions; if this was Jordan, it would have to be proven to the Smeargle. At the moment, the tall Pokémon stood firmly in between the two humans, poised and ready for whatever happened next. Somehow, he almost wished it wasn’t Jordan—Smeargle found he liked battling, and he didn’t want this to bring his battling career to an end.

(( Sorry this isn't the greatest post either; I had to hurry since I'm leaving now. See you next week! And thanks for the reffing ^_^ ))

The man looked at you with deathly fear in his eyes. You could tell that he thought he had messed up big time. To be honest, I agree. He managed to not recognize his own sister and now, his secret was out. He really screwed himself over one on this.

Well, Jordan looked at you and said, "Sybil." Looks like he was going to come clean. He turned away, sighing deeply. Seems like it was time to listen to a long story about how Jordan hated everything or something like that. Suddenly, without saying anything, Jordan turned around. A glint in his eye told you that he wasn't going to back down early.

"I could explain this all to you. Or I could try to beat you in a Pokémon battle to show you that no one can help me except myself. I like the second option." With that said, Jordan picked out a Pokeball from somewhere and tossed it onto the ground. Out came a small dog with an iron hard shell, Aron. Good luck.

(( Ugh, I was so tired when I got home yesterday that I just slept. Anyway, I was at my friend’s house in Texas so I was able to check back sometimes but I wouldn’t have had time to post. Hopefully this will make up for it. ))

“Sybil.”

No doubts now. The shock and fear started to wear away—this was just her little brother. But her little brother was grown up. He was grown up for sure. Jordan was part some sort of black market society; Sybil could only imagine how that had happened. The disconcerting part about this is that she had found who she was looking for, and it had happened so quickly. He had never been too far from home. But now what would she do? She hadn’t expected Jordan to be involved in something like this, and in any case she would never ask him to come home.

The shocked look on Sybil face disappeared instantly and was replaced by a stern, unreadable one. She just couldn’t be afraid of her own brother. “Oh really? Because I kind of like the first option.” Said Sybil, her voice cold. But she knew that Jordan’s will was just as unshakable as hers. Even as she spoke he had one of his Pokémon out and ready to fight. Sybil sighed, but backed up and let Koda stand between her and the aron. Jordan would be strong, but she could be stronger.

“Look, Jordan, I have no idea what’s going on but I’ll do what I have to.”

Koda couldn’t deny the young man’s identity any more. He squinted, raised a brow, and scowled. There was a definite disappointment in his partner’s sibling; so art was a good choice, but whatever they were doing did not seem legal. Koda shook out his arms and prepared for orders—he was determined to beat Jordan and put him in his place.

“Ok, Koda, listen: I want you to use Tail Whip twice, because aron has a lot of defense. Use Thunderpunch for your offensive attack; normal attacks won’t affect him so much. You can accomplish that how you want, just be careful for the aron’s attacks. Jordan is pretty straightforward with his moves so they’re easy to predict, but they’re powerful…”

You know, I wonder why you're looking for Jordan. He seems to be a jerk. And I'll tell you why. Jordan looked at you and said, "You want me to explain myself? As if YOU would understand. You would never know what its like." He watched as you spoke prepared to fight and said, "Tell you what. If you can beat me, I'll tell you. But that will never happen. I've only been gone a short time, but I've never lost and Aron and I will crush you." This kid needs an attitude adjustment if you ask me.

Anyways, Koda quickly carried out your orders. He stalked over to Aron and used his tail to paint a smiley face on Aron's head. Now, I think its funny and I bet that you and Koda do too, but Jordan and Aron were not laughing. Koda grinned at Aron impishly, taunting the dog to do something about the paint. Jordan did just that. Calling out he said, "Rambo, use Dragon Rush now." The dog glowed in a strange light for a second before charging headlong at Koda. Koda thought quickly and used Thunderpunch as the dog came flying at him.

The clash of attacks resulted in a blinding flash that filled the room for a few seconds. When the light became bearable again, you could see Koda sprawled out near your feet, dazed, but still more than willing to fight. He leapt up and awaited your orders. Rambo on the other hand, was wobbling back and forth with shudders passing through him every now and then. If you ask me, that was not the best of rounds, but lets just try again, shall we?
