Kenneth scanned the battlefield, looking for which Pokémon was best prepared for capture. He was certain that he wanted the Vulpix, though its increasing clarity of mind was a potential problem. A Scyther was also on the list, and though having both might have been a great thing, he could see that he was only likely to walk away with one if he wanted to claim victory in the battle. The Pokémon trio was beginning to turn things around, actually managing to do some real harm and pull of some actual tactics on Kenneth's team. It was time to start bringing this thing to a close.

The best way to do that, it seemed, was to remove a Pokémon from the equation, thus giving Kenny's team the advantage of numbers. His scan of the fray revealed to him that one of the Scyther's was struggling to maintain itself, rendered incapable of moving its arms and having had its thoughts confused. "Gotcha." Kenny whispered, a smirk coming across his face as he removed an empty Pokeball from his belt. He could see that the targetted Scyther was ripe for the catching, and he was gonna go for it. "Pokeball, take it!" He exclaimed (oh, how many times he had practiced that exclamation). He released the sphere from his hand, targetting the weakened (Lv. 6) Scyther.

He did not place 100% focus on the ball's path, however, as there was still a battle going on. The paralyzed Scyther was basically out of the equation whether the Pokeball succeeded in containing it or not, leaving Kenny and his team capable of focusing their energies on the remaining two Pokémon. The strategy was simple: distract the Scyther with one Pokémon so that the other two could team up on the Vulpix. He quickly thought up a chain of commands to cause maximum damage to the creature, for he was hoping to get it weak enough for capture with his next move. "We're goin' all out!" He called to his Pokémon, preparing them for his next move.

"Pidgey, dive-bomb now!" He called, intending for his flying Pokémon to use the force of gravity to its advantage, adding to the power of its Tackle. He pointed at the stronger Scyther to let Pidgey know what target it was to strike. If nothing else, the creature would at least be distracted while Pichu and Mantyke made their next moves. "Mantyke!" He called. "Go in strong with a quick Tackle to Vulpix! Follow it right up with Bubble!" If he could knock Vulpix back and then hit it with Bubble, it would be hurt and wet, putting it just where he wanted it for the next move. It was time for Pichu to get back into the fight. "Pichu, charge up!" He called. "Tail Whip, then Thudershock!" The order was simple enough: hit the distracted Vulpix with a Tail Whip to further lower its defenses after Mantyke's attack. Then, hit it with a Thundershock to take full advantage of its lowered defenses and wetness. These factors combined with Pichu's close proximity to the Vulpix would increase not only the damage dealt, but also the chances of Pichu's Thundershock causing paralysis.

Kenneth had faith in the abilities of his Pokémon, and had already removed a second Pokeball from his belt. He enlarged it, making it ready for capture. He was going for it--a two-for-one move. "And another! Pokeball, take it!" He exclaimed a second time after his Pokémon had made their moves. If the capture failed, he'd still be fine; he could always recover the thrown Pokeball or produce another one from his belt. One way or another, that Vulpix was going to belong to him.

You gave an excillent plan to your Pokémon. Pidgey was to distract the Scyther while the other one was in the pokeball and Pichu and Mantyke were fighting Vulpix. It should go over well and things shouldn't get too hard for you. And speaking of the Scyther in the Pokeball, it has already locked and you succesfully cought it. Congrats.

Back to the battle. Pidgey dove towards the remaining Scyther and tackled him head on. The attack did a fair amount of damage and it should be distracted for now. While they were fighting, Mantyke was charging at the Vulpix and tackled it and sent it a ways and the sent out a bubble towards it. Pichu then went in and Tail Whiped her to lower defence and then use Thundershock to hurt the already wet Vulpix. She was almost fainted but the Pokeball hit her before she could let out an attack. The ball was shaking back and forth and Scyther was using Skull Bash on Pidgey.

The ball stopped and clicked letting you know that you now had two more Pokémon in your collection. Congrats! The round was almost over and all you had to do was knock out one more Pokémon. Good Luck!
