Due to the size of Cthoolhoo, I'm going to assume that you went outside before you released it. Otherwise you would have ended up completely destroying the Pokémon Center, and I can't imagine that would have been a light price to fix. So instead of giving you harsh penalties for not being specific as to what you're doing, I think I'm going to cut you a break. Besides, I think you're heading to go trade with somebody, and it wouldn't be fair to that person to hold you up. With that said, let's start heading to Tohea City, shall we? This journey is pretty much eventless, seeing as how there were no Pokémon up in the sky and you weren't on the ground traveling. You made it to Tohea City pretty quickly, and I don't mean to rush, but I have other things I have to do. Plus, I feel like being nice, so I'm not going to put anything in your way, and instead, poof you're in the middle of Tohea City. Granted, there are tons of people screaming and running about due to the sight of your monster, but that aside, nothing. Okay, and some cops are on their way with guns drawn, ready to blow that alien scum right out of the world. As the owner you have a job to do, which would be to protect your servant, who would be more than happy to leave should you tell it to do so. |

After Rex had made sure he was holding on tight to the Pokémon, it took off into the sky. He never flown on a Pokémon before, so it was a completly new exprience for the trainer. Good thing he knew where the city was, because he would hate to be flying around not having a clue where he was going. While on Blue's back he didn't see no Pokémon, as well as other trainers flying on their Pokémon. Guess catching Cthooloo was a good idea after all. He didn't know if there was anymore of Blue's species around the region, so he guess the Pokémon was rare. Bringing this Pokémon to Kanto would probably make him famous or the most hated trainer. The trainer could feel the wind going through his hair. It felt feeling the breeze hit his face softly. Soon enough he started seeing the city ahead of him. The thoughts of his journey beginning in this city started to come to mind. "It's been a while since I've been here... Guess I'll be doing my training here instead of Wayford." He said finding a spot to land in the city. After landing, he hopped down from the eight foot alien's back. He could see people screaming and running for their lives. Rex then looked up at Blue and started laughing, "I almost forgot, people aren't use too you yet." He said taking a Pokeball out, returning the blue monster to the ball. Rex then started walking toward a Pokémon Center to find some trainers that probably wanted a Natu. While walking he thought about some of the battles and the weird events he had here. Rex had some scores he needed to settle with a few trainers and Pokémon in this city. Before any of that, he wanted to goto the Pokémon Center first. {I think someone can have me post in Roy's journey so I can trade with him now} Edited by Tyrant Rex, Jan 10 2009, 08:24 AM.

Though you returned your menacing Pokémon, the police were still running towards you with their guns pointed. Screaming, one of them, obviously the one in charge, demanded that you get down on your knees with your hands above your head. However, somebody else arrived on the scene and screamed at that cop, telling him to desist from the operation. Glancing between you and the one obviously higher up on the ladder of power, the officer finally called off his fellow officers. Rolling his eyes, the one of more power walked up to you and apologized, saying that you may continue without any more trouble. He also promised to put out there that the alien Pokémon were perfectly suitable as long as they belonged to a trainer. When you walked into the Pokémon Center, you saw that people were crowded around a television set, where now they were talking about you! But it's not bad, as they are talking about how you clearly showed that trainers could have control over the alien Pokémon as easily as they do with the ones from Tohea. Somebody else in the room who was watching the tv turned to look at you and he seemed to have a question. Maybe you should go over there and introduce yourself? ((OOC: You may now post in Roy's journey. The trainer I mention in the end is Roy.)) |

This is before and after the trade with Roy, so the ref wont get confused. Rex continued to walk toward the Pokémon Center to find someone to trade with. As he walked, he could hear some policemen running after him with their guns drawn. The policemen in charge told him to drop to his knees with his hands behind his back. Rex wasn't a bad trainer and he hasn't did anything wrong. He was however thinking about sending his Cthooloo out to do some damage to them. It was only a thought though. Suddenly a man arrived on the scene and screamed at that cop, telling him to let Rex go. This guy must of owned half of the city or something. "Thanks." He said before the man walked away. The trainer would soon get to know that guy but later on though. When he finally got to the Pokémon Center he saw people around the tv set. Before thinking about it he knew it was about the Pokémon disappearing in the region. That's one of the reasons he returned to Tohea City. Instead of talking about the wild Pokémon they started talking about him. They were talking about how Rex clearly showed that trainers could have control over the alien Pokémon as easily as they do with the ones from Tohea. It was funny though how news spread across the city that fast, or maybe this wasn't their first time seeing a Cthooloo. It was probably their first time seeing a Cthooloo that was captured. One trainer then caught his eye. Who knows, maybe he was looking for a Natu. There was only one way to find out though. Rex walked over to the trainer and smiled as he said, "Hi, I'm Rex Yuuta from Pallet Town.. Would you be intrested in a Natu?" Rex asked the trainer. He didn't know he was a trainer, but he was sure he was. Especially since he was in a Pokémon Center, so there wasn't really much doubt about it anyway. After that whole thing, he traded the other trainer his Natu for a Tauros. Once they were done trading Rex left the Pokémon Center to do some trainning. "I need an open area where I can train my Pokémon... Better yet, so I can relax." He said to himself as he continued to walk, not know what he would encounter. This godly ref is very happy with the post you just did, which is so much better than ones he has been seeing lately. Granted, you always do more than the minimum, but some people can't even seem to do that properly. Anyhow, you got a Tauros for the Natu that you really didn't want, and I gotta admit, that's a pretty darn good trade. Somehow I can't help but wonder if you're just a really smooth talker for doing that, or maybe that other kid just didn't want the Tauros. But I can't figure out who wouldn't want a Tauros when they're amazing Pokémon capable of just about anything physically. Walking out of the Pokémon Center, you could see that it was getting a little darker up over head. It looks like it's about to rain, so a big open space probably actually isn't too good of an idea right now. Looking around, you do see a large open space that you can use if you really want to, but I'm telling you it's going to start raining any second. There could even be lightning with this, although you don't hear any thunder rolling in the distance at all, so you're probably safe there. Or, if you continue on, you can get onto Route 1 which isn't too far and there's bound to be a place in the woods or something for you to train. If you're really lucky perhaps you'll even find a cave of some kind that will do. You know you don't have to worry about any wild Pokémon popping up on you, what with their rarity now these days. Okay, I should really learn to shut my mouth, because up where it turns into Route 1, you do see a wild Pokémon. At least I think it's wild, I don't see any human near it at all. You're really lucky, because this is the first wild Pokémon I've ![]() Level 8 41/41 100%

Rex smiled as he thought about where he was standing right now. This was the city he started his journey in. He could of started out in other regions like Kanto (where he was born), Jhoto, Hoenn, or Shinnoh. Once he found out about his unknown sister in the Tohea region, he made up his mind to come here, to this very city he's in now. "Wow, I'm back where I started." He joked. As he stood there, the thoughts of all the battles he had came to mind. Even if he lost of them, the battles and the adventures taught him a lot about battling and Pokémon. "I really have to train my Pokémon." He said leaning up against the Pokémon Center. The young trainer then looked to the sky as it darken. He could tell just by lookin' it was getting ready to rain. He really didn't see this as a bad thing at all. The thought of finding a Pokémon and battling in the rain made him more excited than ever. Rex's eyes then caught the sight of an open area where he could train his Pokémon. With the rain coming though, he probably wouldn't be a good idea. Taking a deep breath he looked off in the distance to see a Pokémon. "I highly doubt that Pokémon is wild." He said. Rex waited a bit to see if the Pokémon was with a trainer. With the Pokémon disappearing, it was hard to find even the most common of Pokémon. When no one appeared to be the Pokémon's trainer, Rex tossed a Pokeball to the hard floor. Within a secound, a brown bull Pokémon appeared from the Pokeball. It was Tauros, the Pokémon he just got minutes ago from trainer Roy. "Looks like that Pokémon is wild, and with Pokémon disappearing, that Pokémon is consider to be rare." He said hopping onto of the Tauros back. With Tauros being strong as it was, he knew it was able to surrport his weight, so him riding it wouldn't be to hard. "Tauros charge towards the Pokémon and use Tackle." He commanded the Pokémon as it started running toward the Pokémon. Edited by Tyrant Rex, Jan 16 2009, 12:38 PM.

You mounted Tauros whom seemed a bit unsure about you being as he had never met you before this but he set off anyway with surprising speed. It wasn't long before you had caught up with the deer Pokémon whom hadn't travelled far, there was quite a considerable level difference between the two but Tauros were known for their brute strength so there was the possibility of this battle being quite balanced. Tauros kept on running towards Stantler, not giving you time to get off safely and slammed into the Pokémon with amazing force that she was knocked off her feet momentarily. You were tossed off of your Pokémon's back with the force of the impact, thankfully you landed on a patch of grass. Nothing was broken, bruised or cut, you were just slightly muddy. Stantler looked around at who had attacked her and set eyes on the bull Pokémon glaring at her unblinking. She seemed slightly afraid and Tauros' Intimidate ability was kicking into effect without you asking him to use it. Stantler now stood up gingerly and prepared herself to attack. She began to paw at the ground and then began to run forward. She charged at Tauros and tackled him. He was knocked only slightly back and the two Pokémon locked horns. It was quite tense, neither Pokémon was backing off, one would occasionaly push the other back slightly but then push back with strength, resulting in nothing really. It seemed like a stalemate. Now how would you break it? Lvl.5 ![]() 31/35 91% Lvl.8 ![]() 35/41 93%(ATK-2) |

Rex wasn't surprise that the Tauros had no clue who he was or where it was. It didn't bother him to much though. Besides, he just got the Tauros in a trade. The Pokémon he traded for Tauros was a Natu, a bird Pokémon that couldn't fly. The only thing it was good for was teleport, but it wasn't at that level yet and Rex had no idea how to teach a Pokémon teleport. So he gave it to a trainer that he felt would take care of Natu. Once he was on top of the bull, he made sure he was holding onto it's horns. Within a secound the bull took off dashing toward the deer Pokémon. Even at a low level Tauros was strong and faster than he thought, maybe a little too fast. Soon enough they caught up to the deer Pokémon, but Rex wasn't ready to have Tauros attack. When the bull made contact with the other Pokémon, the trainer was sent flying off the Pokémon's back. Luckly for him, he landed on a patch of grass, not having any injures. One thing that was messed up for sure was his clothes which were muddy. Dusting himself off, he stood to his feet to watch the battle. The Stantler looked around to see who attacked her and once she saw Tauros she tackled him back. Rex watch as the two locked horn, reminding him of a battle he saw on tv as a child. Rubbing his head he continued to watch what was happening, but now was the time to command his Pokémon. "Tauros use Rage and then use your horns to slam Stantler into the ground." He shouted. |

You noticed that your new Tauros cocked it's head slightly as you issued your commands. The bull Pokémon may have been at a low level, but that slight movement right there was a sign of a decent upbringing and fair training; you knew that he had at least heard you, even if for some reason he was unable to fulfill your orders. Fortunately for you though, this wasn't one of those times. You saw Tauros's brow furrow, his pupils widen, and his nostrils flare. He released a low snarl, and then began to push forward. The Stantler was taken by surprise at Tauros's sudden increase in determination, and in its surprise she surrendered a couple of feet to Tauros. This momentum was all that your Pokémon needed to carry out your plan. With a sharp twist of his neck, Tauros actually lifted Stantler off the ground and threw the poor deer (haha, see what i did there?) over his shoulder. Stantler landed with a distinct thud. At first you were afraid that the Pokémon had broken its leg as it fell; it certainly looked like it after how it seemed to land on top of it. You felt a wave of relief when the Stantler fought it's way back to its feet. It was a little dazed from the fall, but all in all it was still able to fight. Suddenly, you felt a wave of a different kind. It felt like a sudden rush of wind, but unexpectedly warm for a winter's night. You, and both of the brawling Pokémon, spin around to face the direction where the sudden rush of air came from. high above the horizon you could see a faint orange-gold glow. You couldn't make out what it was, but whatever it was, it was huge! The Stantler took a few steps backwards, clearly afraid of whatever the glow was, and even Tauros seemed to back away slightly, but not quite so much. Stantler was terrified though; I highly doubt whether it was still focusing on the battle at hand. If you're not too intrigued by the flaming image in the distance, maybe now's the time to get the upper hand. Lvl.5 ![]() 31/35 82% Lvl.8 ![]() 29/41 89%(ATK-2) |

Rex was a little surprise at Tauros strengh for a low level Pokémon. Then again he wasn't, because Tauros were known to be power even at a low level. The trainer watched the battle as it went on. Next thing he knew, the Stantler was sent into the air, landing on the hard earth. At first he thought it was over for the Stantler; especially after an attack like that one. This was definitely a good battle, even if it wasn't far from over. He was about to command the brown bull to do another attack but something was wrong. Something didn't seem right. For some reason the two Pokémon stopped and that made Rex look around. "What's going on?" He said looking to the sky. It seemed like a faint orange-gold glow was in clouds. He couldn't tell what it was but it was huge. The trainer also noticed something else as well. Earlier, gray clouds started to come in and it looked like it was going to rain. The funny thing about it was didn't rain yet. "Is it more of Cthooloo's kind?" He said to himself out loud. Rex then notice that Stantler wasn't paying attention anymore, which was a good time to strike. "Tauros use your horns to ram into Stantler's side, and fallow it up by using your feet to Stomp on it." He commanded the bull. |

A huge bolt of lightning lit across the sky, followed by a great bang of thunder, which caused the Stantler to jump. She then took off, sprinting away from you and Tauros, who stopped, knowing that it'd be useless to go after her. He looked at you, wondering what you were supposed to do now, although you don't really have to decide anything. Just then an Alakazam appeared and waved one of his spoons, creating a portal right behind you. With a nod, he seemed to be trying to assure you that it was okay and you were going to be alright. Before you could move away or anything, the portal sucked you into it, and you felt yourself being pulled. What was probably only a few seconds, but seemed to be an eternity passed, and you found yourself somewhere else. Green, lots of noises, and plenty of confused looking people looking about like they didn't know where they were. Perhaps you should take a look about? |
