The mad trainer watched as his Pokémon were taken' down, both of the paralyzed, and there was nothing he could do about it. But that was his problem, not yours. Scyther couldn't move due to paralysis, so this was just the chance Talael was looking for. He quickly began beating his claws down one at a time on Scyther, the Pokémon was in pain but still couldn't move. Talael continued beating the mantis Pokémon in the face, it cried in pain, but continued laying there on the ground.

Meanwhile Pinsir was getting away with Mizu-Chan!!!! You quickly acted and chased after the bug Pokémon, as you ran you released Phin, who with the force of a heard of Triceratops a speeding Magikarp, headbutted Pinsir hard! The big beetle Pokémon went rolling headfirst, Mizu-Chan went flying into the air, he was in his shell, so when he hit the hard ground, he didn't take much damage. Pinsir hadn't stopped from rolling though, he kept going and going until he finally ran over his trainer! This sight made you laugh, so hard you almost started crying, but back to being serious.

The trainer stood back up, he was furious, and seeing the sight of Scyther taking it to the face like a man being cracked in the face multiple times, only seemed to make him more pissed off. "You can keep your pathetic Pokémon!" The man shouted, he would then return Pinsir back to it's ball, and leave. Where he was going, no one knows, but maybe you two would see each other again. But wait! He was forgetting something! He left his Scyther, who was still being hammered in the face by Talael! Well the battle was over, and you had a new Scyther, well if you wanted him, that is.

If I were you I would make Talael stop, before he bashed out that poor Scyther's brains, but if you don't want too, well I guess I can't make you. I'm just saying it'd be a good idea

{I'll do EXP etc, in my next post, k.}

Soaring through the air, Phin actually seemed important. His role was key at this point, and if he didn't take down this behemoth enemy, there was little chance the battle would be over by now. It was quite graceful, even if the wish was now back to uselessly flopping around on the ground. Coupled with a short memory, (or perhaps sever brain damage...) Phin began to completely feel useful to its trainer, happy that the boy was going to let it take part in this round. Woot!

Of course, Neo smirked at the thought of him winning this battle. He noticed the thug trainer was being quite a little bitch about this, and wasn't going to let him get away with it. Oh no, not now. "Hey! You started it, now it's time to finish it!" Neo held a red and white sphere in his right hand, as he cupped the other one to a tight fist. The trainer had suck up Phin into the sphere, and was ready to launch it once again in an air-assault. "Well, what's it going to be?"

Talael hopped from atop the scyther, deciding to let it live. The little ruffian scurried over to his trainer, taking an offensive pose toward the man who was trying to get away. Mizu-Chan suddenly spun out of his shell, also running to the side of his new trainer. Neo practically had his water strike force on hand, and was ready to curb stomp this slime into the next century. "Right boys, let's show 'em!" At their trainer's command, both water types that stood next to Neo took offensive positions, showing their methods of battle. Neo wasn't letting this guy get away. Oh no, not now.

"Your Scyther, don't forget it. I don't want your Pokémon, I'm not like that. I won this battle fair and square, and even if one of my own was at stake, that doesn't mean I'm going to make off with yours. Fork over a few bucks, or maybe some items and I'll let you go off scotch free. But yeah, take your big unsexy-bug thing with you. Eh."
As Neo described the bug, picturing it in his head, a shiver ran down his spine. No way he was letting that happen. Not-uh. Money or gtfo, pretty much.

"Well?"

[OOC: I'll just let you do the EXP math since I just don't know what the rules are here. Is it a 4-on-2 deal? If it is, I can do it. If not, you can add it in. The rest of whatever is happening is a bit complex for me, so just give me a PM]

A five second marathon of cussing and grumbling had been glowering at you under the madman's breath after you gave him that little warning. He eyed his Scyther who had finally crawled away from Talael's rock-hard pincers and was now shivering under the man's shadow indignantly as if it lost all it's pride in that beating. It should have since it just got owned by a lobster who was twice as small as he was. That still didn't stop the Scyther from cowering under the madman's feet like a whiny bitch.

The decision had been seriously made up when the crooked man finally yanked his Pokémon to it's feet and recalled it back into it's Pokeball, still swearing excessively under his breath. Then he felt around his back pocket to find a small crumpled up pile of paper with a few other paraphernalia sitting inside his palm. Eventually, his glower was able to droop into a pathetic droop as the guy dropped a wad of cash into your hands as well as a peculiar spoon.

"That's enough to let me go, right? I don't have much else to offer, anyways. Look, I see that you beat me, but don't be a sore bastard and attack me for more. I'm just poor and I needed something else besides the crap I have now. Call me a pathetic old man if you want, I just want to get out of this f***ing place. Anyways, there you go, a little incentive so I can move on out of here. Hope you can do something with that Twistedspoon you mindf***ed kid."

After that last barely audible comment, the guy rocketed off into the maze of the forest, leaving behind only the footprints on his trail and the stuff he gave you. The bent spoon that the madman gave you had a strange aura emanating from it, but you weren't able to sense it well enough as your Pokémon did. But still, it had to do something of use. If not, you could always waste your precious time hunting the guy down to see if you can return it. No, but seriously, why are you somewhere near the Kilidad River?

Approving of the man's choices, Neo was off to make on his own way. He'd been walking for a bit, Mizu-Chan in his arms, and really was kinda of bored with this whole place. He was headed back to Tohea, but who knows why. The nice sum of $25 that he'd received wasn't exactly what he was looking for, but still, the guy admitted he was poor, so whatever. Neo recapped the battle in his mind, watching his pokémon work together with perfect synergy moves, and observing how fast Mizu-Chan was able to come out successful in the feud. Quite proud Neo was of his new companion, and really he couldn't wait to start to train this pokémon for whatever lay ahead.

The weather wasn't exactly too nice, probably going to rain judging by the low, gray clouds, but Neo continued to make his way toward Tohea. He wasn't quite off the location, seeing as he really didn't even travel that far off in the first place. The city had to be close by, fo sho, and surly the Pokémon center would be even closer. That's why Neo's headed back to town, really. He heard about some sort of Tohea Cute Contest that's coming up soon and wanted to get a chance to sign up before registration was closed. That and he needed to get Mizu-Chan and the others healed.

The little squirtle in the trainer's arms was enjoying the ride he was getting quite a lot. For wild Pokémon, they're usually stuck walking themselves everywhere, or swimming in MIzu-Chan's case, but it was quite a luxury for his trainer to be carrying him. Mizu-Chan liked this, and he liked it a lot. This was going to be a very nice life along side Neo the human.

(crap filler stuff. Feel free to auto into the Pokémon center, register for the contest, and hm...auto onto the beach? : D<#)

Neo and little Mizu-chan walked together through the streets of Tohea City and into the Pokémon Center. As was usual in the Pokémon Center, Trainers were coming in and out and Chansey were bustling around everywhere. Neo walked up to the counter, which was actually being manned by a Blissey at the moment. Apparently the Nurse had to go do something and left Blissey in charge. Nonetheless, Blissey understood Neo's request and healed his Pokémon promptly, Mizu-chan once again being carried by Neo.

Neo inquired about the contest, and Blissey handed him a form. Neo filled out the form and gave it back, now offically registered in the contest. But which Pokémon will Neo use when he arrives? Only Neo can know that.. but he needs to start practicing right away if he plans to win. There will probably be some tough competition and its much different from normal battling. But, he knows what he is doing. Besides, who can beat that cute face of Mizu-chan's?

Having already decided where to go next, Neo left town again and went to a different part of the river. As Neo and Mizu-chan moved along, they suddenly notice something up ahead. They got closer, and they noticed two Pokémon were on the beach, one of which was very annoyed. A Feebas was flailing around in vain while a Bidoof kept chasing her around. As the Feebas flopped around, Bidoof would charge under her, forcing her to bounce off of him and off course, unable to get back into the water. It was a funny sight, but the Feebas wasn't too happy about it.

Neo giggled a bit inside. The scene before his eyes was Phin's life, with a Bidoof taking own role. Wait. A Bidoof? That's not good! It's not that Neo hated the Simple Pokémon like most people would have. No, he actually found it quite cute, and somewhat cuddly. You see, it was just the matter of the creature's intelligence that got to the trainer. He didn't like dumb things, and wasn't going to make this acceptation here. Oh yeah Feebass too. He does not like ugly things. And Neo doesn't have time to train more fish, right now. No, right now he needs to get to training.

And training he will get too.

In a flash of light that signal a pokémon had been summoned from their spherical home, Magnex appeared along side its trainer. Neo looked at the Pokémon, awkward smile on his face. Magnex looked at the scene of the Bidoof, and observed as Neo did. Immediately, Magnex knew what it had been summoned for, and was now ready to get to executing that plan.

The little eye's of Mizu-Chan gazed up at Neo, who was thinking about how to do this battle. He turned his head toward Magnex, who was floating a bit closer to the Bidoof and Feebas, sparking with electricity at the ends of his units. Now, if Mizu-Chan were an ally of the water types, there is a possibility he would have attacked Magnex to stop him, but there was no way he was doing that now. Magnex floated forward, releasing dual thunder waves, only seconds apart. The first one was shot right toward Bidoof, and hopefully connected right into him. If the first one happens to miss, Magnex will simply shoot the second one into him, but if it does hit, Feebas will be struck with the second one.

If on the off chance that box enemies are hit, and paralyzed, it'll be Mizu-Chan's turn to run forward, and use his head for some quick thinking. Or hard hitting. Mizu-Chan's going to charge into the enemy with his head down, readying a Headbutt. If he gets close enough to the paralyzed Bidoof, Mizu would strike without Neo's consent, and hopefully do some damage to the beaver-thing.

((I'd have expected you to get reffed by now, you were the next non-specific request since my last ref, last night))

Your Pokémon decided to attack on their own! Magnex doesn't seem to like water types too much, and Feebas is a :water type. Bidoof might not be one, but he does evolve into a :water / :normal type. Magnex crept closer, the Feebas to angry to notice and the Bidoof to absorbed in the game to notice. Magnex studied them carefully, judging his enemy's movements carefully. Mizu-chan noticed this, but instead of stopping him, he decided to assist his fellow party member. With the only warning ignored by the two targets, Magnex's magnets sparking wildly, Magnex suddenly shot out two blue, electric waves as Bidoof charged Feebas. The timing was perfect, the electric energy from both Thunderwaves surged through both of the targets, rendering them both paralyzed, and stunned. They didn't expect a surprise attack.

As the two started twitching recovering from the surprise of the move, Mizu-chan charged and Headbut Bidoof who went flying and tumbling on the grass. The Feebas was struggling just to move at all. Now with her muscles seized up and stiff, she's having great difficulty in using Splash to try to move. Bidoof cried out, shakily standing and facing Magnex, gazing at him with his stupid look, then starting to turn around and walk the other way, trying to get away.

Now Neo's training was interrupted by his Pokémons' sudden rage, what will he do? This is a discipline problem, his Pokémon attacking without his orders might not be what he wants his Pokémon to get used to. Granted, Neo's Pokémon should still have the freedom to express themselves or they'll become depressed. Again, what will Neo do?

(Hp? Energy?)

Upon the completion of his team's moves, Neo smiled a bit, bobbing his head up and down to suggest he approved. The young trainer ran forward, now right next to his floating magnet. The sphere seemed to be brimming with energy, which wasn't something odd at all. Neo noticed this, which probably meant it had used an electric type attack recently. Magnex was just suspended there, cracking energy from the atmosphere. It seemed rather powerful at this point, and could probably smack around the enemies for good damage, but it seemed like Mizu-Chan was going to be doing that part. The little turtle flew right into the Bidoof, which sent him flying a good bit.

At this point, the little rodent pokémon was trying to waddle his way away, but Mizu-Chan had the speed advantage here, and was a little too persistent to let that happen. The turtle quickly took a dash, and ended up right in front of the Bidoof's path. His goal here was to attack with headbutt, but it's possible Neo might have a different idea this time. "Excellent idea, Mizu-Chan!" Suppose not. Well, Mizu-Chan's plan of action was to build up momentum for a bit, and then launch himself into Bidoof with Skull Bash, which would hopefully work out well.

As for Magnex, the magnemite was just kind of hovering there next to its trainer, but seemed to want to do something. Neo looked up at him, and suggested a plan of action. "How about you float over by that Feebas, and make sure it doesn't get away. While hovering around, you can send small pulses of Thundershock toward Bidoof. That will make it easier on little Mizu-Chan." The magnemite let out a sound of metallic computing, hovering toward the fish it was to block from moving while shooting out the electrical attack toward the opponent. GO TEAM!!!!11!!111oneoneshiftone!

Young Neo commanded his Pokémon, and did it like an experienced Pokémon trainer thats been on his journey for years. Magnex floated over to the struggling Feebas, full of electricity and ready to fight with Mizu-chan to defeat these weak Pokémon. Bidoof, a very common Pokémon, shouldn't pose much threat, and the fish below him is easy enough to defeat, out of water, out of her element. Magnex knew this was going to be easy.

"Bidooof." The little beaver faced down the squirtle, preparing to fight as he cannot escape. But, this Bidoof still has one trick up its sleeve, one that should give it a surprise advtange. Bidoof curled up into a little ball and shined a bit, Defense Curl raising his defenses. Mizu-chan lowered his head, storing energy up for his Skull Bash attack. As Mizu-chan charged, Magnex shot out a Thundershock and the Bidoof launched itself into a Rollout, a move he learned a little early for reasons you don't know. The two crashed into eachother as the thundershock went astray, Mizu-chan shoved back by the force while Bidoof flying into the air still in Rollout.

Magnex knew this was the best opportunity to strike, and might be able to stop the Rollout. So, Magnex shot a Thundershock at where Bidoof was to land, and struck the mark. But, Bidoof seemed to ignore it and continued to roll around the area. Feebas feebly flopped just a little closer to the water. A surprise attack from Bidoof, the paralysis seemingly ignored now that Bidoof is in his attack. But it could seize him up at any time. Be wary, if Bidoof stays too long in Rollout his power will not be stopped.

Initializing the battle a bit, Neo found it best for Mizu to continue at the Bidoof he'd started a fight with in the first place. By nature, Pokémon are good fighters, and Mizu-Chan, albeit young, was probably no exception to this rule of nature. With enough focus, it would be easy for the young Squirtle to attack the over sized beaver, and perhaps deter it out of the rollout technique it prematurely mastered. Thinking through the plethora of moves available to a level seven Squirtle, Neo made his choice in a element-matching technique. "Launch a Bubble attack right at Bidoof, Mizu!" Neo's command was short, sweet, and to the point, despite there being an underlying strategy to using that particular move in this case. Mizu lifted himself up from a resting position he'd assumed after being forced back by the powerful collision with the Bidoof. The cheeks of the small turtle Pokémon began to puff out, and a few bubbles began to form at his mouth.

Predicting what the move -should- do, Neo got a good picture of the scene and how useful this bubble maneuver would be right now. As soon as the Bidoof starts in its destruction path with rollout, Mizu's bubble path should cushion the momentum of the move, possible bringing it to a completely stop, but certainly slowing the Pokémon down a bit. This was a good idea for the use of bubble, a weak water type attack that hardly has any battle potential.

"Alright, since Bubble is just to deter that Bidoof's attack, we're going to have to launch another move that will actually damage it a bit. Mizu, I want you to watch for when Bidoof wipes out, as soon as that happens, charge head-first with a tackle right into it. If you can't hit him directly in the belly with your attack, wait until you get another opportunity." Wall of text command aside, Neo could now survey the rest of the battle. taking an intimidate eye to the fish Pokémon that was slowly flopping away, Neo noticed Magnex was doing nothing but idly hovering about the battle field. "Thundershock attack on that Feebas, but launch it toward us when you hit it with the electricity." The melancholy magnet simply nodded with the pupil-like eye on its body, and began to move in for the move, sparking with electricity from the magnets on its side.

You do realize that Rollout should probably be stopped sooner rather than later, although while you know that Bubble should probably slow Bidoof down, knowing that it's too weak to do much damage in battle should probably also warn you that it might not slow Bidoof down by much. Either way, Mizu shot the stream of bubbles out of his mouth and they smacked right into Bidoof. The bubbles seemed to do something though, as Bidoof seized up and fell flat, not moving. Apparently your Bubble attack managed to trigger the paralysis that Bidoof was currently experiencing. Seizing his chance while Bidoof was on his back, Mizu immediately shot straight for him and slammed down onto the Bidoof's stomach, inflicting quite a bit of damage due to the fact that that was strong from where Mizu was doing the Tackle from.

At the same time, Magnex unleashed a Thundershock that zapped Feebas something wicked, and it launched the fish closer to you guys. Now that it's somewhat fried though, I'd be careful not to let Mizu eat it up. I'm mostly kidding with that, but seriously, that Thundershock almost wiped it completely out. So if that's not what you're trying to do, you might want to go lighter on it, or do whatever it is you plan on doing to it now before it's too late. Bidoof was finally able to shake itself up onto its feet and bit down on the unsuspecting Mizu's arm. Ouch! That had to hurt!

The results of the last turn of battle were quite pleasing. Little Mizu-Chan was able to do just as Neo wished, and then some by activating the crippling effect of the paralysis. As soon as the beaver Pokémon switched from a fierce, aggressive little creature to a pathetic weak ball of twitching rodent, Neo had wished he'd purchased the camera app. for his PokéTech. Not wanting to get to absorbed in the humiliation of Bidoof, Neo quickly focused to try and dish out another plan. While he was pondering, however, Mizu had executed the rest of the command as previously stated: tackle to the belly. The young trainer was especially proud of his Pokémon now, seeing as it was able to not only knock the enemy down with bubble, but also was able to tackle just as he instructed. "Great performance, Mizu!" Said Neo, a now proud trainer indeed.

The other part of the attack commands he had given out was for Magnex to launch a thundershock toward the flopping fish opponent that was defiantly going to be beaten down within the next hit. Neo wondered what exactly he should do at this point, although attacking with Magnex would quickly end the fish's chances at getting away, it wouldn't provide Magnex much experience for the defeat. On the other hand, though, having Mizu attack the fish to finish it would distract him from his own battle with Bidoof and really wouldn't give him much experience either. Magnex focused its eye back to its trainer, having not a clue what to do. And that's when Bidoof sprung to life, clamping onto Mizu hard.

Neo kinda saw this coming, I mean nothing ever goes that easily. The boy trainer looked toward Magnex who was already producing a faint bit of electricity. "Alright, Magnex, blast off that Bidoof with a Thundershock attack." At that point, Mizu was resisting as hard as he could from the chimpmonk-looking Pokémon, but he had little to none prowess over the creature that was a tad bigger than him in size. "Squirtle squirt!" He cried. Neo looked toward his precious little squirtle with a rather despondent look about his face. "My apologies Mizu-Chan! I will liberate you from this, wait for Magnex's aid!"

"Once you're free, Mizu, focus on grabbing hold of that fish-" Neo's index finger was pointed toward the Feebass. If all went well, Thundershock knocking Bidoof off and all, Neo had a plan up his sleeve to finish this battle once and for all. He planned on having Mizu-Chan grab a hold of that flailing fish Pokémon, and would use it quite literally as a battering fan against Bidoof. Impressive, and culture-correct for the turtle-esque Pokémon. "Once you're sure you're in a secure position, use it as a weapon against that Bidoof!"

A rather different battle plan but it was one that should work. But besides, who else can say that the had their Squirtle use a Feebas as a weapon. Kind of awkard but oh well, I'm not the person giving directions. Just as everything was about to go into action, an Abra appeared next to you and held out its hand like it wanted you to grab or like it wanted to lead you somewhere.

But back to the battle. All the Pokémon didn't even notice the Abra and it was weird how it just appeared to you. Magnex released a Thundershock at the Bidoof and extremly lucky and made a critical hit and it was blown of Mizu. That had to really help with your plans of ending the battle this turn. Mizu got up and ran toward the Feebas and was able to get a grip on it and smacked the Bidoof with it dealing enough damage to the Feebas to knock it out but not enough to take the beaver down. Luck struck you once more when the Bidoof tried to get up and attack but the Paralyze took effect and keeped it down.

This battle was almost over and you couldn't have gotten any luckier. One good attack should end this.

Out of thin air, some sort of Pokémon seemed to materialize. Although Neo was quite focused on the battle, his attention was still a bit diverted to the other Pokémon. He eyed it up and down, but really couldn't figure out just what it was. The boy trainer would have a few seconds in between his own Pokémon's attacks on the wild ones they were battling to check his PokeTech and find out a bit more about this mysterious Pokémon. The wrist-watch device told Neo basic species information, as it didn't have exact descriptions of the species just yet, seeing as it wasn't under his ownership... yet. Abra..., the name of the species echoed through the trainer's mind as he tried to focus on the battle on hand.

When Neo's focus reverted to the battle his Pokémon were part of, his eyes tuned into his turtle using the fish as a battle fan. Neo literally lol'd. He tried to keep his seriousness, though. This battle was almost in the bag. "Brilliant, Mizu-Chan! Finish this all up with a final headbutt attack to the Bidoof!" Clenching hard to his fists, Neo used a punch to exert his battle command. Magnex figured it was done in this battle, and decided to hover close to its trainer where it could await further command. Neo caught eye of his Pokémon drawing near and immediately took out its pokeball to return the magnetic sphere to. The red beam bashed into the hovering Magnemite, returning it to its safe haven. Neo turned his head to notice the Abra Pokémon offering a hand to him. He was quite unsure what to do in this case, but decided to give it a friendly smile and just wait until this battle he was in concluded.

As you gave your commands and tried to not get too destracted by the Abra, who was still holding out its hand, the sky started to get darker like it did when the Cthooloo's came only the figures in the sky looked bigger. You couldn't tell what they were but they seemed to be having a battle in the sky. As you continued to stare up towards the sky, your battle was still going on. That and you were able to see that it was four figures in the where two looked similar and the other two were small and looked like they wouldn't fight unless they had to.

Back to the battle shall we? Mizu was charging at the stunned/paralyzed Bidoof and used Headbutton it and knocked it out. If I was you, (And thank goodness I'm not because I would be way too mean) I would have thrown the Feebas at it and prayed that it got knocked out. But that's me and we need to get you the right amount of :exp .

Magnex gained 96 :exp !
Magnex gained a level!
Mizu gained 104 :exp !
Mizu gained 2 level!
((Your Profile was updated.))

Now that that was taken care of you can get back to what the Abra was trying to do. It was still holding out it's hand and the figures in the sky were getting bigger and bigger until the were able to be identified. It was Latios and Latias battling Mew and Celebi. Looks like the Abra was trying to help you. Maybe you should call Mizu back and grab hold?
