Neo's intention of training any more were running a bit dry. Yes, he was happy with Talael's performance, it was good, but there was of course other things he needed to address. This is starting to get tough on the child, balancing Pokémon for equal time, trying to maintain a schedule, and even trying to chase some far fetched dream. All Neo could do now is let the game play itself. "Talael, that's awesome work." The little lobster was proud for his praise, he took the time to march around as a true hero. "Why don't we go grab a bite to eat, rest up a bit?" Talael was very confused about his trainer's motives. The boy just made him learn two moves, but suddenly didn't want to continue? Recalling his Pokémon to its respective sphere, Neo made his way out of the beach area, silently thinking about nothing exactly noteworthy. A indication light went off on his PokéTech. Neo cocked his head, and clicked the button as he read the information being displayed on it. There was some stuff about this Tohea Wide Competition that seemed to be a massive battle royal. Teaming with energy, the boy simply couldn't resist. Neo made his way to the Pokémon center, leaving all of his Pokémon to be healed by the nurse. Although Talael and Phin (His newly nicknamed Magikarp) didn't really do much to loose energy, he figured that it's always nice to have some time to relax. Neo sat down and decided to wait. True, he could of used the automatic healing station these Pokémon Centers are equipped with, but the boy preferred an exam from the nurse instead. Waiting for the gentle woman's response, Neo decided to play with one of the pokeballs he had in his bag. The young boy was investigating its properties, checking it out for different things. He clicked the center button, which opened it up. Inside were about twelve small rectangular mirrors that formed an oval of reflection. Neo wasn't exactly keen on its function, besides the fact that Pokémon are somehow stored within. Tinkering a bit, Neo deiced to not modify the device until he had a few more samples of different types. |

The pokeball you held in your hand was highly fascinating and the advanced machinery that it used to keep Pokémon within it, you questioned how it worked, how it suspended Pokémon inside, months of captivity in total isolation... It wasn't very common for a pokeball to be found with a dead Pokémon inside it, as long as the Pokémon was healthy you guessed they could survive for years and years. This definitely plagued your thoughts for a long time. "Sir?" said a familiar, cool and relaxing voice that seemed to radiate calmness and tranquility. The nurse you saw had a stack of papers in her hand that she plonked down on the desk, you stated that your Pokémon needed refreshment and she took your pokeballs from you and went into the next room. You went straight back to the pokeball, staring inside once again. You then stood outside the Pokémon center the sunlight right above you, it was midday an you felt great. The Tournament of Eternal flames seemed like a good idea right now, the choice to what to do lies in your hands. |

Neo was completely unsure of what to do at this point. He really did have much of a plan, besides trying to perfect some sort of team, but other than that, he really didn't have anything to do. Figuring it was best, Neo decided to just continue out toward Route 2, 'the path of the nobles.' As Neo filtered through the different scenes and such of the town, he felt a feeling like something was missing. Trying to figure out exactly what it was, the trainer literally stopped in the middle of the busy street. "Now what could that be?" He asked himself. "Oh! Magnex, I forgot about you!" Opening its poké ball, Neo released the little Magnemite into the material world. The creature spun around its trainer's head a few times, but eventually got settled in. Magnex was more than delighted to get out of that tiny little space he despised so much. "Sorry, bud, I forgot how much you detest these things," Neo said, placing the red and white sphere back into his wind-breaker's pocket. "Now, where were we..." Knowing better than to question his trainer's certain authority, the magnetic sphere simply spun around a few times, indicating that his trainer wanted to travel toward the direction of route one. "Oh yeah, getting out of this town!" Neo's voice was certainly high-pitched, which could be annoying in some situations (Like this) but also humorous in some, like when he is yelling at his pokémon for messing up something they should have been naturally good at. Continuing on, Neo and his partner Magnex were basically just trying to get along with their journey as normal. It's not that Neo didn't admire the efforts Talael put forth, but he felt like he needed a stronger, more efficient water type. Browsing the multiple options he had, the young trainer was more than sure that a Squirtle seemed the best option at this point. Not only would something like that be a perfectly cute addition to his team, but it could also become a powerful battler with time. Neo figured it was best to approach the area known as the Kilidad river, if he wanted to find something like this. |

So, off to the Kilidad river you say? Quite the distance, but I'm sure you would close it in no time. Either beknownst or unbeknownst to you, you might be the first non-fisherman trainer from Tohea to set foot on the banks of the river. I have to warn you though; that water is sea-water. Sharpedo lurk beneath the river's murkey depths, so don't loom too close to the waters edge. Off you went towards the Kilidad river, quite a distance away from your current location. You did have some things to be a bit happy about though. The full fury of the sun was blotted out by large puffy white clouds that looked a lot like marshmellows. Your Magnemite played quietly by your shoulder, and darted out towards anything, such as Rattata, that passed by. Sure a good watch.. magnet. Anyhow, your trip was rather uneventful and you made it safely to the Kilidad river. Just by looking at the river, it was resoundingly peaceful. Pokémon.. except fish Pokémon played on the shore of the river and many in the river. Even the fishermen seemed to get along with each other. There was no competition between them regarding shore space in which to cast out their lines. In fact, this place seemed to be a regular paradise to most people. Again, except for the fish. Water-Pokémon that you could see from where you were standing included Buizel, Krabby, Corphish, Goldeen, and Squirtle. Except the Squirtle were being herded into a boat to be taken off somewhere. A real shame. But just as you were about to lose all hope, one of the Squirtle was able to break through the net. It was apparent that he was smaller than the rest of him, either through being the runt of the pack, or level-wise, or both. Whatever was happeneing he was making his way towards the shoreline where you were currently near. Better think fast as to whether or not you want it. The people who had cast out the net were looking at the Squirtle and were debating as to whether or not to go back and get it. Level 3 32/32 50% (Tired from swimming) |

The trek to the river was hell. It was defiantly hot out, which was not cool. Neo and his partner, Magnex, had to walk (/hover) quite a bit to make it to where they were right now. Neo plopped down on the muddy bank, tried from the trip. He looked up at Magnex, who was being loyal as ever, just hovering guard. Neo smiled at his partner. "You know, your loss in that tournament was no big deal, Magnex." The little Magnemite hovered down, sort of shrugging its magnet units. Neo let out a slight laugh, pulling his magnemite in close for a HUG. Turning his head, Neo quickly focused in on the water. He met eyes with its beautiful call, and after all this heat, Neo felt like he just wanted to hop right in. Starting to take off his shirt, Neo quickly noticed that no one else was in the water, and that it was actually not to alluring to him. "Pass," he reconsidered. Magnex was quickly caught up in observing something that was swimming its way through the water. Magnex sent a slight spark out in excitement, which connected lightly with Neo. The young trainer jumped up a bit, looking at Magnex. "HEY! What gives!" He yelled. Magnex felt bad that it'd shocked its trainer like that, but when Neo found out what he'd seen, Neo would understand that it was well worth it. Pointing both magnets toward the water, Magnex urged his trainer to look at what it'd spotted swimming along in the water. Neo turned, dropping his jaw down to about his feet. The young boy's eyes turned suddenly to giant violet saucers, sparkling and glittering with amazement. "Mizu-chan! Just what we need!" Magnex had a rather concerned look on its...eye... It was completely unsure what a 'Mizu-chan' was, and was really confused if its trainer was talking to it, or to the little pokémon he had suddenly spotted in the water. Neo's legs began to get weak, he could barely even hold up his petite body. The child was trembling with excitement, but really nothing his entire journey had been as good as this moment. "Mizu! Mizu-chan get out of the water! Those bandits! They're after you!" At this point, Magnex could clearly tell that its trainer was not commanding it to do anything. "Neo..how do you know its name...oh, nevermind." Magnex decided to keep its thoughts to itself, no point in raining on Neo's parade. Grasping two of the poké balls in his bag that he'd thrown onto his lap, Neo jumped up, tossing the spheres toward the water. "Tai, Phin, swim Mizu-chan to safety! Look at how exhausted he is!" Both of Neo's water typed pokémon came out, rather confused as they landed. Phin was positioned right in the water, floating close to the riverbank, while Talael was situated close to the rushing blue, but was safely dug into the rocky riverbank. Magnex quickly rushed down to its trainer's other pokémon. "Neo wants you two to swim out there, and grab that Squirtle. I don't know why, but for some reason he's calling it Mizu-chan." Talael took his larger pincer (right claw) and placed it on his forehead. Typical facepalm. "Why does he want another water type? He's got both of us?" Talael, using his certain logic was much confused over what his trainer wanted. "Karp" Talael and Magnex both looked at Phin, rather concerned if he actually had a brain, or really just was a mentally retarded fish. Ignoring Phin to avoid ulcers, Magnex and Talael continued on with their conversation. "Well, we best get to that. Phin, swim out! We've got a rescue mission on our hands! Er...claws...fins...WHATEVER." Observing from atop the river bank, Neo watched as his Pokémon team got to work. "Phin! STOP BEING SO USELESS!" Neo demanded at the top of his lungs. "There's no way I will accept your fail here!" Phin had heard what his trainer said, but didn't even take it to heart. The thing was stupid, and ugly, and Neo really didn't want it. He turned his head to a ground of fishermen. "I'll sell you that Magikarp for five hundred bucks. Or maybe some cool items...whatchya got?" Magnex quickly noticed that its trainer was getting easily sidetracked by the presence of other people. Letting out another playful jolt, Magnex hoped to regain his trainer's attention. "So yeah, it's like level 12 and stuff. I think it could use hyper beam, but I forget..." As Neo spoke, he suddenly felt a strange increase of heat around his butt. It was clearly electricity striking him. "OWW!" Neo pranced about, grabbing at his rear-end. "Awh, Magnex, I was just about to get rid of useless old Phin too!" Magnex rolled its eye, floating over to its trainer. The little magnemite pointed toward the water, its trainer looking in the same direction. "Oh! That's right! Mizu-CHAN!" Neo quickly ran over to the edge of the riverbank, dropping to his knees, butt in air and all. Neo cupped both of his hands around his mouth, supporting his head up with his elbows. "Phin, DAMN IT! Help Mizu-chan!" Talael and his lesser companion had swam out to where the little squirtle was, and began to talk to calm him. Well, Talael did, at least. "Grab onto me, it'll be easier for you to swim!" Talael stuck one of his claws out, allowing for the Squirtle to grab hold of it. Phin useless floated around, but actually was providing a good amount of support for the almost drowning Squirtle to rest on. "If you can, help us swim you back to land," Phin uselessly fluttered around, but Talael didn't hold it against him. For too long. |

The fisherman in the boat all sweatdropped at once, watching as your Magikarp hopelessly floated around. It must be quite embaressing for you, to say the least. Why did you take that thing anyway? I mean sure, its evolution is pretty powerfull, but getting it to that stage is a pain in the ass. "Uhhm, no thanks kid." The men shouted over to you. The squirtle looked pretty scared as your Corphish came up to it, it took it as a threat and tried to escape, but remembered that the boat wasn't too far behind to catch it. It looked between the boat and Corphish, before panicing and grabbing onto Corphish in the hope Talael would help him. Talael began to swim strongly as it targetted the shore where Neo was standing. The fisherman had realised what had happened, but didn't seem to worried. After all, you had gotten the runt of the pack, and they had a big fishing net full of them. "You have it kid, we dont mind." The fishermen shouted as their boat began to change direction and sail off. Well, that was easier than expected, huh? As Talael got onto the shore, Squirtle thanked it with a not so understandable. "Squirtle squirt squirt." However, it seemed happy, and was shaking Talael's claw in glee. Until, it set eyes on you. A trainer, after its near-caught experience about two minutes ago, it paniced and tried to run away before Talael pounced on the turtle. "Corphish Core!" The crab said as if to tell Squirtle not to go, or not to be afraid. Squirtle wriggled and tried to escape, before it finally just swung its head backwards, headbutting Corphish. Talael let go as it rubbed its head, before the Squirtle tried quickly to get away into some nearby tree's. Quickly, get it! |

Yes, as a matter of fact, Neo was highly embarrassed by the useless fish that was just flopping around in the water. Neo pulled out the poké ball he'd been given that contained Phin at one point. Clicking the center button, Neo turned his head, and closed his eyes. He knew that the fish would be brought up through a beam of light, and that much fail near him at one time was too much for him to handle. After the fish was returned to the ball, Neo had gotten an idea to just throw it into the water as a gift to someone who was unfortunate enough to find it, but as he thought about it, it would be a waste. With a shrug, the young trainer placed the poké ball in his bag, ignoring anyone around. Refocusing on Talael and the wild squirtle that he had rescued, Neo's eyes lighted up, again. "Mizu-chan! Mizu-chan! Oh, here, come here!" Neo yelled out to the little pokémon, but it seemed completely confused by what the boy was saying. Talael was cashing after him, hoping he wouldn't get too far from Neo's grasp. It seemed like Neo really wanted this one to him. Wanting to remain loyal even though it probably meant he'd be replaced as the star water type, Talael took hold of the squirtle, trying not to let go. After a bit of a tussle, Mizu-chan was actually able to get out of Talael's grasp. Neo noticed, and instantly turned red in the face. Trying to defend himself from the influx of anger Neo was most likely going to shoot off at him, the crab threw its claws over his head. Without even yelling, Neo was able to release his steam. The kid seemed to be getting better at this, which was fortunate seeing as he could really lose it, which would be really bad. Talael stopped bracing himself, opening his claw and looking through them with one eye. Neo's not going to castrate me? Oh cool! New leaf! Immediately after thinking that, Talael realized he was already screwing up. Mizu-chan had already started to flee to a new location, which was not good for Neo's sake, and Talael's health. Quickly scurrying to go after the escaped squirtle, Talael began to thrash about through the dense shrubbery. "Tai! Don't scare off Mizu-chan!" Shouting out to his pokémon, Neo ran over to were the tiny blue pokémon had hid. Magnex followed right behind. "Return, Talael. I'll handle Mizu-chan from here on, K?" Talael had no time to object, seeing as Neo already had clicked the button that opened the poké ball to return him. Placing the ball gently on the ground, Neo kneeled over, his knees and hands as support. As he quietly poked his head into the brush, Neo searched around for the little squirtle that was about to get away from his rather loving grasp. "Mizu-chan? Where are you? It's Neo-sama! Don't you remember?" Neo must have been getting this particular squirtle confused with one he had possibly met in the past, or maybe he was trying to convince it something... Deciding not to resort to violence, Neo pulled out (stfu >_>) from inside the bush. "Oh dear, Mizu-chan must be scared for his life." Stretching back, Neo grabbed Talael's poké ball, and clicked the center button once more. "Talael-chan report for duty!" Stated the trainer as a corphish appeared in a flash of light. Talael was rather confused by why he'd been called back out, but he figured Neo must of had some sort of plan. "Cor?" Talael asked, wanting to get knowledge of this plan his trainer was working on. "Redeem yourself, my boy!" Completely confused on what Neo wanted him to do, Talael rolled his claws in confusion. "Cor?" He asked again. Neo shook his head from left to right. "You need to go in there and convince Mizu-chan we are not enemies, and we're friends." Neo's order was simple enough, but would the turtle really know that his trainer meant peace just like that? Talael walked into the brush, trying to seem as gentle as he could. "Hello, Squirtle? Are you here?" Not getting an immediate answer, Talael figured that that was not the way to get him to come out, and that Neo would probably punch him if he had to hear Talael say that. Or maybe Talael's overly fearful of what his trainer could do. Quiet honestly, the boy wasn't that mean. Well, unless your name was phin and you were useless. In that case, you best stay in your poké ball to avoid major abuse. Talael shook his head, dismissing the image of Neo punching him. Neo's not like that...well, not to those he likes... Talael was not very confident in that thought. It's been expressed (Neo's anger, that is) before, and Talael did not want to have to face it again. "Squirtle, really, I rescued you! I'm sorry for pinning you down, but my trainer...Well, my trainer wanted me to make sure you were safe. You running off like this probably sent the boy into a shock. Honestly, please, come out. Neo would be so happy to just know you're safe." Trying to convince the pokémon that his human wasn't bad, Talael coaxed the pokémon on, hoping it would help Squirtle build up enough courage to come out. |

(( Again sorry if my posts are short, still in a sling. ^^; )) Your efforts to find the Squirtle were high, and it didn't seem as if you were about to give up anytime soon. Although, this Squirtle had no idea why you were calling him 'Mizu-Chan'. Infact, this only freaked the turtle out even more, why were you calling him that, he hadn't seen you before in his short life. Luckily, your Corphish had already gained the turtles trust, and as your Corphish began to call it, it popped out infront of the crab. "Squirtle Squirt." The turtle exclaimed, looking down at the ground, it seemed rather upset, yet sorry for what it had done to Corphish after it had most probably just saved its life. "Corphish Cor." Talael said patting the turtle with its claw. Talael turned, and gestured its claw in a 'come on' fashion to the Squirtle, as it began to walk out of the brush. Talael quickly emerged back out of the bushes, and faced you. No sign of the squirtle, and just before you began to blow over with more insane anger. A rustle came and the Squirtle slowly plodded out of the bushes, its head down as it walked along. "Corphish Cor Corphish." Talael explained as the Squirtle finally got alongside the crab. Talael faced the turtle as it spoke, pointing its pincers in your direction. Squirtle gave a look up at you, and then back down. "Squirtle Squirt." It said, before finally bursting into tears and running to hug your leg. You wern't sure what was up with the lil' fella'. But it seemed to me as though he was greatfull, yet sad that his family and friends had just been taken away. I suggest you comfort the lil' thing, maybe then you can have yourself a Squirtle, without having to battle it or whatnot. Talael watched as the little turtle cried into the bottom of your pants, looking rather jealous. It was certain this was one crab who didn't have the option of being replaced in mind. |

With eyes of sorrow, Neo looked down at the sobbing squirtle. His lip began to quiver right before he too broke out in a massive tear fest. Neo plopped to the ground, hugging squirtle in his tears. No one could really tell why Neo was crying, but both he and his Pokémon knew it. The boy's Pokémon could tell that Neo was highly embarrassed about what was going on around here, although he was reluctant to show it. Taking a tight hold on Squirtle, Neo was actually rather revealed that he had at least gotten something his heart ached for out of this. Releasing Mizu-chan from his grasp, Neo sat back a bit, looking in the creature's eyes. He still had a rather sad look on his face, but was able to muster up the courage to speak to the little squirtle. "Oh, Mizu-Chan, I am so sorry that your family is gone! These humans, all they know how to do is take, take, take! They never let any of you just lead nice, happy lives alone in the wilderness..." Talael looked at Neo, rather confused about what his trainer had just said. The Corphish decided to just ignore it, seeing as it would probably just get him yelled at. Neo began to sob for a bit, but continued his speech. "You see, Neo-chan isn't like that at all. Oh no. My ideas are to let my Pokémon roam free, and to help other Pokémon in times of need! Mizu-Chan...if that is your name, I am here today to ask you, for your braveness. For your courage! FOR YOU, MIZU, TO BECOME PART OF NEO'S STRIKE FORCE!" At this point, Neo had one foot upon Phin, who so hopelessly flopped about on the ground. Neo's finger of justice was pointing right through the sun, projecting his words up even further. Talael stood close to his trainer's scene, eyes turned to huge glimmering holes of admiration, and pincers held up against his mouth to make him look even cuter. Neo blinked, looked down at the wild squirtle, and awaited his response. Judging from how it acted earlier, Neo figured it had the same personality as he did, or perhaps something different, however, either way, it seemed as if the two would make great friends, and a kick-but duo for whatever. Wanting this then anything he had ever wanted, the suspense killed Neo. He drew from his bag one of the red and white spheres, setting it down on the ground. "If you choose to join us, I promise to never keep you in there. You'll be free to roam about, do as you wish, and together! Together we will be Tohea's best!" All Neo could do now was wait for squirtle's response to his little act. |

As you pleaded, many wild Pokémon such as Metapod's and Caterpies's popped out of trees and bushes and looked at you while sweatdropping. Especially seeing as you were now stood on your helpless, dull, stupid fish of a Magikarp. Seriously if you evolve that thing... Run, that Gyarados will cream you for sure. You were truely a unique person, you seemed kind, you had a sence of idiocy and humour to your well-being. Plus, you also seemed to have feelings for the people and Pokémon around you. I would say your a good person, and so would that Squirtle. The Squirtle looked up at you, rather confused at times. He still didn't know why you were calling him that, but he continued to listen to your plee's and stopped crying as you comforted him with kind words. Once you finished your speach, he looked up with a smile. Jumped up at you and clicked the button on an empty pokeball in your hand. In a flash of red light he was consumed and taken into the red/white sphere. All of a sudden, the nudging ceased and you had captured yourself an emotional turtle. Congratulations! Once that was done, the pokeball opened itself, and out popped the newly caught Squirtle. He threw his arms in the air and shouted his name with suprise as he then ran up and gave you a heart warming hug. Awwwh, sweet. Talael watched, with a smile at that. Maybe he didn't want to be replaced but, it was still a nice thing to see? Maybe you would be nice like that to him from now on? He hoped so anyway... As you finished off hugging. You heared a nearby Pokémon call in a cry of battle. A rather large bug began to run at you, some sort of pinsers snapping. Luckily, your Magnemite had caught glimpse and with a spark of energy thundershocked the bug into stopping. It got up however, and began to call its name angrily, pointing at the Squirtle in your arms. A few feet behind was a muscle-bound male trainer. "You know, I could do with a Squirtle myself, so hand it over!" He yelled, releasing another Pokémon aside the other. "I wont want to hurt you or your pokeon." He added with a smirk. Lv. 8 34/41 98% Lv. 7 39/39 100%I just thought I'd give you a reason to use your Squirtle. ;) |

With Mizu-Chan ready to rock and roll on his team, Neo was set out to do great things. Or train the poor little thing until its arms fall off. Whatever. After being accepted onto the team, Mizu-chan decided to give his trainer a nice big hug, which left said trainer in an orgasm of cuteness. Honestly, this little squirtle was the cutest thing he'd ever seen. Hugging back, Neo realized that he'd been calling Mizu-Chan Mizu-Chan, yet never gave the little guy a proper naming ceremony. Neo felt stupid at this point, so he decided to correct his mistake. Stepping back and saluting to the little Pokémon, Neo begun his speech of inspiration to it. "Mizu is the Japanese translation of water, or close to it. You're a water type, so it fits, I guess. But quite honestly, just calling you 'Mizu Mizu Mizu' would get rather boring with time. Agree?" Neo looked around to his three Pokémon, and Phin, who all nodded in agreement. All smiles and such, Neo embraced all of his team that he actually cared about at once. It felt weird for him to be hugging a floating magnet, a crab, and a cute little turtle at once, but he didn't care. Neo loves his Pokémon with his entire heart, and that's for sure. Except Phin. He's ugly. Magnex quickly caught glimpse of something while in its trainer's arms. It seemed as if something (another Pokémon) were charging at them, which was totally not cool. Magnex released itself from Neo's hold, jolting out a shot of electricity at whatever was charging toward them. Neo quickly made sight of it, along with his three water types. Talael and Magnex looked angry, standing guard in front of their trainer. Mizu, of course, huddled close to its trainer as the man shouted out his commands. Neo completely objected, and readied a come back. "Hey, you, big unsexy-man and co! Yeah, no. Sorry, there's no way you're getting little Mizu-chan!" Magnex began to spark a bit at his magnetic tips. To look equally as serious as his partner did, Talael clamped his pincers, exerting a level of anger toward the bugs. Neo grabbed onto Mizu-Chan's arm, standing up tall behind his Pokémon wall. Phin uselessly flopped around, which kinda added to Neo's super awesome cool plan of uber pwning a very unsexy man and his equally as unsexy Pokémontm. The fish saw it coming, so the only thing it really did was brace for the impact of Neo's size three tennis shoes onto him. Before executing his plan, the young trainer smirked a bit. "Show them your thunder wave, Magnex. Double paralyzing go!" Magnex began to cress with energy, which it easy exerted toward the enemy bugs. At this point, Neo ran forward, tongue in the side of his mouth and al. The trainer forgot to release Mizu-Chan's arm, but perhaps this wasn't a mistake. With a single kick, Neo had punted Phin right toward the enemies, repeatedly yelling "HYPER BEAM! HYPER BEAM DAMNIT!" Of course, there was no way that Phin could do something like that, so Neo was probably just using it as a distraction. Whatever. As Neo kicked, he spun, Mizu-Chan in tow. The squirtle was not quite understanding of what to do, really, his trainer had just spun him around in a circle, which built up a good amount of momentum. However, inspiration hits in all forms, and right as Neo was about to release the little squirtle, it found out perfectly what to do. "Combo attack go! Mizu, sail forward! Spinning heatbutt tackle of DOOOM!" Believe it or not, Mizu-Chan actually knew what he was to do, but honestly, when you're around Neo, it just kinda comes to you out of fear. Or win. Or whatever. Mizu-Chan's attack was to use the built up momentum from him and his trainer's spinning, and then launch himself right into the enemy using a very precise movement in the air. Honestly, the move is so complex it could split your brain open and put back together, and then rip it apart again, so I won't explain it to full detail besides that it's a speed-charged heatbutt, aimed right at Scyther. A few ripples of energy shot through the air, signaling that Magnex had a plan down already. Neo was proud, and he felt that it was silly to try and top off the natural defense Magnex instinctively pulled out. Talael, on the other claw (ha. get it. claw? Talael..oh, never mind) hadn't the slightest clue on what to do. He kinda just stood there, and wondered why Neo disliked him so much. Honest truth? He's ugly. But Neo wasn't about to let that slip. He noticed Talael wasn't doing any thing, and that he had a bit of a lacking self-confidence. The trainer decided to run over to the crab, and give it a big ol' hug. Talael was bright with happiness as his trainer grabbed onto him. After the slight hug, Neo was ready to throw orders at his crab. You didn't think it was getting off that easy, did you? Neo stood back, eyes at the enemy. "Move in and slice and dice the heck out of them!" Not 100% sure on the commands, and knowing that he'd get yelled at for it any way he went about it, Talael ran forward, readying to Vicegrip right into either one of those bugs that came near him. Yeah, he was going to have a sword fight with the bugs. Man, this stuff was about to get major epic. ((Clarification: Neo punted Phin into the air, but he's really going to be trying to land on either one of the bugs, or the trainer with body slam. Mizu-Chan is flying forward with some speed from spinning about, ready to smash into either of the bugs with headbutt. Magnex already shot off Thunderwaves, but it should take him awhile, seeing as he isn't 100% yet. Talael ran forward, ready to clamp onto anything that's an enemy that comes near him.)) |

Everyone began to sweatdrop as you kicked your helpless fish at your opponents. Really, that wasn't the best of examples to show your new Pokémon was it? Then, shouting for it to use Hyper beam doubled the sweatdrops of the witnesses. Again, not the best of examples to show your new Pokémon huh? Still, it was funny to watch from the god-like position I was in right now. Phin flew at the Scyther, who effortlessly swiped the fish right away from his direction, knocking it into a nearby bush. However, Pinsir was still rarely distracted by that, and then was hit by a flying, blue turtle who had alot of momentum behind it. Pinsir flew back, not onto the ground, but way back, behind his trainer and hit a tree. The man growled fiercly at you and your Pokémon. "Its not over yet!" He yelled, he had more Pokémon with him, and was outnumbered. Yet his over confidence made him want to do this just with theese two already on the playing field. Magnex's thunder wave was getting more and more impressive! Unfortunately, due to the time it took Scyther easily dodged with agility and darted round, coming up to Talael in its path. Talael opened its claws ready, but was easily slashed aside by this seemingly quick and powerfull Scyther. The giant bug then leaped up into the air and slashed at Magnex, sending your steel friend hovering back quite abit. The bug then landed, right infront of you. "Scyther." It said menacingly as it glared at you in the most frightening way. Pinsir had now gotten up and walked just infront of his trainer. "Scyther, use Slash and finish that guy off. Pinsir, stop any of his Pokémon from stopping Scyther." The man called, really not nice at all. Guess you shouldn't of called him ugly huh? Scyther swung its giant sword like arm backwards, as Pinsir ran forward. But, fell over onto the ground, only to look back at a small turtle sticking its leg out in the most joking way. It stuck its tongue out at the giant beetle, tormenting it. Luckily for you, Squirtle wasn't the only quick thinker, and with a flash of blue energy, Scyther was pushed back by a now perfect Thunder wave, by, guess who? Magnex. Quite honestly, Neo was in a bit of a position this time. Scyther was able to evade all the attacks thrown at it, clearly making it a formidable opponent. For the most part, Neo seemed like a rather foolish trainer, but that wasn't the case. The kid's 8, of course he's going to goof off and look silly, but really, the kid could throw out a killer plan, and have the confidence to back it up. Working as hard as he could, Mizu-Chan earned his keep, smashing into the opponent like that. Neo wanted to rush over and hug it, but being in the situation he was in, I don't see that happening, but you could imagine it if you want. The scyther was clearly ready to rip right through Neo, which he wasn't ready to have happen. Magnex, picking up on Neo's feelings quickly got to defending its trainer. A quick jolt of lighting shot out, completely paralyzing the scyther who was about to rip Neo to shreds. Neo figured he could count on Magnex, and really, he didn't even flinch when the scyther came this close to him. Talael was slowly recovering from the hit he'd taken, focusing in on what had happened. He saw that Neo was close to death, and wanted really to earn his keep. Charging forward, the little crab hopped right into the air, hoping to come down hard on Scyther with a body slam. For the most part, Talael was leading him own on this battle, and really was doing good without Neo's guidance. Swiftly sliding to the left of Scyther, Neo could see his little squirtle, half done on his energy meter, yet still taunting his opponent in hopes of winning the battle. As Mizu-Chan stuck out his tongue, Neo could see himself right in the little guy's appearance, which was always good for a trainer. If he could relate to his Pokémon like that the two would defiantly have a very strong bond with in little to no time at all. It's like Neo didn't even have to give a command at all. The little squirtle crouched down right in the path of the oncoming Pinser, ready to smash his tucked in head right into the opponent. Skull Bash. Magnex was hovering around, just kind of watching the battle. Neo looked to it, the little sphere nodding before his trainer even began to speak. "Alright, it seems everyone has their attacks under control. That Scyther's hindered, and and Talael's about to crush and mince him. Mizu-Chan seems confident to battle Pinsir, but without a status effect bugging it, I don't want him to have to take an attack back. As soon as Mizu-Chan lunges to strike with his Skull Bash, release thunder wave right into Pinsir, paralyze it at any cost!" ((Mizu-Chan readies to use Skull Bash, only executing if the enemy comes in close enough. Talael is going to take advantage of Scyther's speed mauls, closing in for a body slam/Vicegrip combo Magnex is going to shoot off some Thunderwave at Pinsir, but only after Mizu-Chan launches it into the air, if he does.)) |

The trainer watched as his Pokémon were attacked, Scyther was jolted and paralyzed, then Pinsir was tripped and fell on it's face. How humiliating... It looked like your Pokémon were working well together! Magnex, was doing a lot of attacks on it's own, which was a good thing, wasn't it? Mizu-Chan was acting like a little kid, which techniqually he was, Talael was doing his best to attack Scyther but each time missed, due to the Pokémons quick speed, and then there was Phin, who was still flopping helplessly in a nearby bush. This battle was getting more intense by the minute! Soon the enemy Pinsir would get up, you could see that little red anger mark on the side of it's head. It didn't really like being embarrassed infront of it's trainer, and thats exactly what your Squirtle had done. It took off running at your Squirtle, the pinchers on it's head rapidly closing in and out, it was preparring to use Vicegrip! Mizu-Chan, following his oreders, began preparring to use Skull Bash, but Pinsir was still to far away for the attack to hit, so he had to continue waiting for a bit. Once the Pokémon got close enough, Mizu-Chan closed his eyes and jumped at the bug Pokémon head first. Soon a sharp pain had filled the Pokémons head, the poor Squirtle opended his eyes, but was sad to see the fact, that Pinsir had him in a Vicegrip. It was sad but true, Pinsir had poor Mizu-Chan by the head, realizing that his attack had worked, Pinsir gave off a sort of vicorty cry. The Pokémon would then fling it's head, opening it's pinchers, and throwing Mizu-Chan into the same bush as Phin. Mizu-Chan slowly walked back out of the bush, he had quite a headache, but the Pokémon wasn't out yet. Mizu-Chan soon got an idea and jumped back itno the bush, you stood there wondering a bit on what exactly your Pokémon was doing. Soon a hard smack could be heard, and Phin went blasting out of the bush, smacking right into the back of Pinsir! What the hell had just happended? Mizu-Chan came walking back out of the bush, an evil grin was on his face, well that tricky little -enter bad word here-! Well now on to the other Pokémon! Due to the fact that Pinsir had been cracked by a flying fish, he went sailing into the air. Seeing this as it's chance, Magnex built up some elctricity, and within a second, jolted it at the flying bug Pokémon! The blue electricity hit the Pinsir, paralyizing it on contact! Yes, now both enemy Pokémon were paralyzed, this couldn't get any better... or could it? We still have one Pokémon to go! Talael scurried towards Scyther, who was paralyzed but still standing. As Talael got closer to the mantis Pokémon, he jumped up at it, opening his pincher. Scyther, even though paralyzed was still too quick for the Pokémon, and was able to block the Vicegrip attack, by using slash. The force of the two sent Scyther falling backwards onto the ground, and Talael spiriling upwards. All of a sudden, Talael came crashing down in a shocking Body Slam, right on Scyther! The impact did damage to both Pokémon, but Scyther came out getting more... a lot more. "Pinsir, now!" your opponent shouted, you turned to see Pinsir quickly snatch up Mizu-Chan with it's pinchers and start running back towards it's trainer. Quick! You had to get your beloved Mizu-Chan back! You had to stop that pinsir before it made it back to it's trainer, it was paralyzed, so it shouldn't be that hard... should it? Neo watched the battle, much impressed on what his team was pulling off. Man, they're all going to be so great some day While absorbed in this thought, Neo didn't quite notice his attack taking the attacks they did. Mizu-Chan was obviously quite warn out, and would by all means have a hard time defeating the enemy, if he could even muster up that much. Talael, on the other hand, seemed to be right on top of this battle. Quite literally. He'd thrown the paralyzed sctyher down, all he needed to do now was beat the living crap out of it. That's always fun. Magnex had taken a certain sympathy toward Phin, but wasn't going to go about objecting to Neo's choices. Hovering toward the little fish, Magnex let out a sigh. How? I don't know don't ask me I'm not a scientist. Slowly floating down to the fish's level, Magnex shook its entire body back and forth. "Sorry for what Neo does. I think you're the comedy relief of this team. Just...uh..don't go about killing him, k?" For a moment, Phin just sat there, not flopping up and down, not even breathing with his gills or mouth. After a few seconds, Magnex was getting ready to leave, it honestly thought the fish Pokémon had died. "Karp," Phin suddenly responded. Magnex grabbed him up in its units, carrying it over to Neo. Looking up at his magnemite and the useless fish it had in its magnets, Neo pulled out two poké balls, returning them both. "Well, at least you got around to paralyzing both of them for me. Thanks." Neo clicked the poké balls back into his backpack, looking toward the battle. He was all heated up inside, and ready to just finish this. "Now you get it that you can't always take stuff with brute force?" The young trainer pointed his question toward the opposing man who'd initiated this show down. "Continue up with a few good hits, Talael. Use your claws as hammers to pound on that scyther!" The Corphish got a smirk on its face, happy to be beating the hell out of its opponent. He lifted his right claw, ready to bring it down hard, and then hit with his left claw. Surely, the scyther was pinned down under his weight. There's no way it could get out of this one, right? Talael's plan was merciless, he'd just continue beating on the mantis, proving to his trainer that he's not worthless, and that he can throw down pretty hard. He continued again and again, and wasn't going to let anything get in his way. Completely unaware of Mizu-Chan being scooped up by the enemy like that, when Neo noticed, he was ready to throw down with all he got. "PUT HIM DOWN!" Neo demanded, running right toward the giant bug. Talael was too busy beating the crap out of the other creepy-crawly to notice what was going on, this one was all Neo. The young trainer pulled out a poké ball, clicking the center button to expand it. "Phin, this one's all you. Headbutt right into that Pinsir and save our Mizu-Chan!" As he ran, Neo flung the poké ball into battle, Phin coming right out of it. Instead of his usual useless look, the fish seemed determined, and even angry. It wanted to help its trainer, and was going to at no costs. Time to prove he's worth something. Bout time for that revaluation. Mizu-Chan flailed about in the grasp of Pinsir, but had heard what it's trainer was about to do. Any minute now, Phin would come sailing toward the Pinsir, knocking him toward the ground. Not wanting to have to time it, Mizu-Chan retreated into his shell, where he'd be safe even if he did go flying through the air. ((Talael's going to beat the enemy, but I'm not sure what attack that would be considered. Maybe body slam via claws? Idk. Phin is headbutting with his momentum+ from being launched like he was. Mizu-Chan is going to withdraw to his shell. That is all.)) |
