"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

All of the Pokémon listened closely to you and nodded, thinking that they understood what it was you wanted them to do. When Elekid punched the air, ice flew from his fist, and both of the other Pokémon tentatively touched his hand. Gastly and Abra both winced from the cold, but still touched the fist, concentrating on what the cold felt like. Once they had gotten the idea, they moved away from Elekid and began to focus on that cold energy. You could see something form around their fists, and you knew that the cold part must have been working like you hoped. Then they switched focus and punched like you had taught them, though nothing cold came out of it.

What happened was while they had learned the cold part, they didn't yet figure out how to focus both that and the punching technique together. It seems that when they switched focus, they stopped using that ice energy that they had just called on. You're very close to having this move taught, now all you really need to do, is get them to combine this. Justin grinned at you, pretty happy with the way things were turning out with this, thinking that it would only take one more round. Do you care to continue now, young teacher?

Ice Punch - 79%

Jake smiled, as did Justin, both Pokémon were close to mastering the attack. That meant that they would soon be out of this treacherous and dangerous weather and be inside in the warm and comfort of the Pokémon Center. Maybe Jake and Justin could even find a double battle to test their new moves out on. People would surely flock for shelter in the Pokémon Center.

Jake noticed that they had mastered the ice element now, and the punch. But they hadn't mastered them together. As they focussed on the punch, they lost their focus on the ice, but it wasn't hopeless. It was hope inspiring on the contrary. They would get the hang of this attack in the end. Even if they had to wait in the rain for a bit longer, they would complete the attack!

"Okay guys that was great, we're in the final leg of teaching you this attack now so we're nearly done." Jake said quite proudly to the two Pokémon. "Now you just need to focus more on the ice when you punch, make sure you keep the ice energy within your fist and you should be fine." Jake told them. "Any other suggestions?" Jake asked Justin.

(Sorry it's so short)

Again, both Pokémon listened to you before starting to do as you said, focusing on that ice energy within them. This time, when they unleashed the punch, you saw the ice come from their fists, and they had finally learned Ice Punch all the way. Happy, they of course started celebrating, and Justin joined in with his Gastly, glad that they had a new powerful attack. Unfortunately, the celebrating ended up being short lived before something else happened, completely unexpectedly.

People were screaming all around you, and you saw huge beings in the sky fighting and getting closer. Randomly, Pokémon would appear and then disappear with people, creating portals for them to jump into. It seemed to be a complete chaotic nightmare, and just when you thought things couldn't get worse, they did. An Alakazam appeared and grabbed you, created a portal, and jumped into it with you, to who knows where. Now, it seems that you are going to an unknown land...

((OOC: You know what this means! Time to start your journey in Alternia!))[/color
