Nurse Joy looked at you and frowned as she took five of your pokeballs from you. She then decided that she would go off on some super-hippy tangent about battling. "Ya know" she began "Pokémon weren't made to be killing machines. It is because of trainers like you that some are sterotyped as evil, mischevious, and all around unpleasant. ITS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT DISGUST ME!!! Here are your Pokémon now please have a nice day." What in the.. talk about a mood swing. Well at least your Pokémon were fully healed and you were going to head off to Pokémart right about now. Good good good.

You walked down the ever-crowded streets of Tohea with a wondering frown on your face. Nurse Joy was suppose to be the nice, humble, kind, polite, etc. etc. Nurse in all of the cities. Actually, a nurse from Hurst might act that way to you, but never one from the capital of Tohea. Never ever never. Oh yes, I am going to be making wierd tangents of my own throughout this entire ref. DO YOU HEAR ME, I AM GOING TO BE DOING WHATEVER I WANT IN THIS REF. BUHAHAHAHA.. but err yes you have arrived at the Pokémon mart without event. Once you walked in the shopkeeper greeted you kindly and then began to show you his wares. Decisions, decisions. What to buy, What to buy? And for my final tangent: I'm beast.

Woah Nurse Joy had gone a little bit crazy back there. Who lit the fuse on her tampon? Not the usual attitude of a Nurse Joy at all, and immediately after she became nice again, what was up with that? Jake didn't dwell on it that much in all honesty and took his Pokeballs back from the Nurse with glee. He had half his dream team now, he was half way there!

Jake walked out past the sliding screen doors, back into the serene town of Wayford. His next stop was the Pokémart, he needed to stock up on Pokeballs and then he would be out of there as soon as he could. He wanted to travel some more, possibly go to the next town from here, Tohea. Maybe there were jobs for him there? People to meet and maybe even new Pokémon to catch and train.

Jake walked through the town in search of the blue roofed building that so many knew as the Pokémart, very distinctive like the Pokécenter. Jake navigated through the people moving about and the towering buildings above him. Now which way was the Pokémart? Jake spotted a sign post indicating which way to go and merely followed it to his destination.

(Sorry for Short Post, if you can/would, can you get the pokeballs for me (5) and continue my journey towards Tohea.)

Well the shopkeeper's attempts to get you to buy things in his shop were obviously met with failure. Very quickly you purchased five pokeballs and made your way out of the Pokémart and deeper into the city of Tohea. As you made your way deeper into the maze that is Tohea, the sky-scrapers simply got taller and taller and ever taller, symbolizing the importance of this city as the business capitol of the region. So basically if you were really looking for a job it wouldn't be terribly difficult to find you one. But as always there were many more than a single option for you to choose from. Lucky you. If you were in Hurst you'd be working in a factory.

So what DID you want to do with your day? Well I'll be nice and give you a couple of options. Over yonder there were a couple of trainers with some Pokémon you could battle. On the beach or in the haunted Tohean light-house you might be lucky enough to find some water and you'd easily find some ghosts in the light-house. But wait--is that a sign on the front of one of those huge skyscrapers saying 'Help Wanted'. It is! Maybe if you went to go check it out they'd hire you. Afterall the list didn't have any qualifications on it except that you had to be a Pokémon trainer and you fit that description. Go on and check it out.

So they needed help in Tohea. But was this job permanent, or only temporary like the last job he had back in Wayford? Well either way a job was a job, but he didn't need the work right this second, at the moment he just wanted to spend some time with his Pokémon. He hadn't really got a chance to sit and relax with his Pokémon since...well he hadn't!

The city of Tohea was an island so that meant there would be plenty of water around it, and water always meant there were to be Water Pokémon! But Jake also needed to train with his Budew and try to get him to evolve. He also needed to see how Elekid battled. It couldn't all be relaxing now could it? Jake tossed into the air 4 Pokeballs.

One by one each of them opened followed by an explosion of white light. There in front of him stood, Budew, Lotad, Abra (whom hovered to sit on top of his head) and Elekid. Jake wasn't sure how Elekid would react around his fellow team mates but he could only hope for the best. Budew waddled up to the small electric Pokémon and smiled at him in order to welcome him to the team. Maybe it was best if Elekid didn't see the two Pokémon that defeated him for now.

Jake smiled and after seeing Elekid's reaction to Budew, (to be determined by Mod :) ) he picked Budew up and began waking to anywhere on the island where there was a body of water for them to train and relax in. It all depended on what type of Pokémon appeared on whom Jake would send into battle but all in all he would enjoy the rest of the day.

As you released your Pokémon out into the open so you could finally spend some time with them, you noticed a shift in the air. Looking up, you saw snowflakes beginning to come down, and your Pokémon all started to giggle. Playing with each other, they were completely oblivious to how the snow could end up ruining things. I mean, they could potentially freeze, not that I'm saying that they're going to. Once again, you're being reffed be me, one of the incredibly nice refs, as long as you do your part on posting well. Looking at your post I'd have to say that you're going to get a pretty damn nice ref. Besides, it's Christmas remember?!

Eventually, the snow got heavier, but not too heavy that you couldn't see across the street. However, you noticed less and less traffic was coming, as people were trying to get home. Your Pokémon were starting to play with the snow, grabbing as much as they possibly could to throw at one another. Of course there really isn't enough snow to do much with yet, as it just started, but they were trying! And while you were watching, you heard a strange sound, almost as if something was squawking at you. That's when it hit you.

Oh, I meant that quite literally, not in the figurative way that you just realized something and so therefore it hit you. No, I'm talking about a physical object, coming from the air, and smashing into your chest before falling down before you. Looking down, you could see that it was a Pidgey, and it looked like it was in pretty rough shape. The Pokémon Center is still not too far off, so that's always a good place to go to. And I'm really thinking that it's not in the position to be battling.

Jake smiled as his Pokémon played in the snow, it was the first time any of them had ever seen it with him. They probably all saw it before they met Jake, but this was nice, spending christmas with his Pokémon, his best friends. They were all playing, rolling up snow into snowballs and launching them at each other, Abra helped Budew with his because of lack of arms.

Elekid seemed to be getting along just fine with his other Pokémon aswell, it seemed that they had realy, broke the ice. All lame joking aside everyone was full of good cheer and brilliant spirits. This was cut short when a Pidgey came down and hit Jake in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. Now usually when a pidgeon comes down and hits you, you would normally regard it as quite odd, but this bird Pokémon was not in a good way.

Jake could fight it for some EXTREMELY EASY experience, but that would be low, Jake was better than that, or so he thought. But this meant more than one thing! In the past Jake got a message on his Poketch. It was an invitation of sorts into a club known only as 'Nightengale Hunters'. Jake joined and was assigned a mission, to catch a Pidgey, and he was about to do just that!

Jake withdrew a pokeball from his bag and quickly tapped it on the bird Pokémon and waited for the shaking to stop. As soon as it stopped, Jake would need to take it to the Pokécenter as fast as he could. The only problem was, would the Pokeball dissapear because he had 6 Pokémon on his team? Surely in an emergency they could make an exception. Whoever THEY were.

They are the people of such divine powers as being able to uphold the laws or completely diminish them upon such requests. I am one of these very beings, as are you, though I believe you are very well knowledgeable with this fact. Upon being sucked into the Pokeball, the Pidgey felt that it was in very safe hands and didn't even bother fighting the capture. With a ding, the Pokeball announced the said capture and it didn't go flying anywhere but to your hand. However, all of your other Pokémon were immediately returned to their Pokeballs and if you release another one, it shall be transported to the P.C.

Once in the Center, you handed over the Pokémon to Nurse Joy, who found something wrong with it on the computer. She excused herself and went away with the Pokeball containing the Pidgey, looking very concerned. This doesn't do anything for you but make you worried of course, and some people who were watching you also looked a bit worried for you. However, upon catching your eyes, they all turned away from you, as if afraid that you'd either do something to them, or perhaps worse. Maybe you would somehow be able to make something bad happen to their Pokémon as well, which would be no good at all.

After a few minutes passed, the nurse came back out with the Pokeball and called you over, not looking upset any longer. Smiling, she gave you the Pokeball and said that Pidgey was perfectly fine and that it had just been in the cold air up above for too long. Knowing you must have just captured this Pokémon, she said that you probably should be careful with it for a bit of time. You never know if something else wrong could happen. Well, now you're free and can go on to do the next thing! Oh, and Pidgey is now in the P.C. so if you want him, you'll have to go exchange him out for another one of your Pokémon.

Jake smiled as the Pokeball teleported into the Pokémon database. Jake would quickly swap it for his Grimer and ride Ponyta as fast as he could to Hurst where his client awaited his Pidgey. Jake would try to make haste, this delivery was due days ago. Jake apporached an empty computer and quickly made the switch before logging off and releasing a horse like Pokémon, shrouded in flames.

Jake had never rid Ponyta before, in fact he wasn't sure if she would be able to support his weight but if they didn't try, how would they know? Jake gently ran his hand along Ponyta's back, his hand warming as it passed through the flames which oddly didn't burn him. That was a sign of trust Jake thought. Jake locked eyes with Ponyta and she knew what he would ask of her.

Jake lifted up one leg, not wanting to be so reckless as to jump on. He raised it over her back and sat on her back. Ponyta looked uneasy, she had never let anyone ride her before. Jake felt uneasy, how fast could a Ponyta go? Jake wasn't entirely sure about this idea but the journey's time would be cut incredibally if they went forward like this. Jake held onto Ponyta's neck and waited for her to set off.

After the exchange, which went relatively smoothly of course, having no apparent glitches in the system, you decided to use Ponyta. Sent out in the middle of the Pokémon Center, people gasped, wondering what you were about to do. With a whole bunch of crazy things going on these days, they thought that perhaps you were some kind of pyromaniac. Nurse Joy immediately brought up a Pokeball of her own, ready to fight you if you dared do anything horrible. She glared at you, saying something about knowing you were an evil person the first time she saw you. Remember when she was such a nasty woman the first time, which makes you wonder why she was nice this time. Perhaps someone had said something to her...

But before anyone could do anything to stop you, you were out the door and traveling fast right onto Route 1. Some people wondered why you were going so fast, Ponyta having never let anyone ride on her before was going like a mad cow diseased thing. Unless they really don't go at all, in which case scratch that comment and think of something incredibly fast and crazy. Trees whirred by your head, and as you two ran, you noticed something that was incredibly odd. As you were looking around, you didn't see a single Pokémon, which of course was unheard of as in the routes, they were abundant. Yet, that wasn't the case...

It wasn't too long before you knew that you were halfway there, and Ponyta started slowing down, unable to continue like this. Eventually she stopped by a nearby pond and dipped her head, taking a drink, and lowering her body to let you get off. After a long drink, she looked around, and you could see that she was pretty tired, and in need of a rest. Near by, there was another trainer resting against a tree, their eyes closed, and MP3 player buds in their ears. You saw their bag by them, closed, and you can't help but wonder what it is that they might have on them. No, but you can't steal from them... could you? Well Ponyta needs a rest, so you might as well find something to do.

Jake looked at Ponyta, for a first timer she had done more than adequately in his eyes. She stopped to take a drink from the lake nearby, she deserved some rest now and he would try to walk the rest of the way and he would hopefully get to Hurst in time to make the delivery. He had returned all his Pokémon back to their Pokeballs and he picked up Ponyta's and returned her after she had finished her drink.

Jake turned to see a sleeping trainer some distance away but still within the distance to see any minor details. Jake saw the bag lying next to him, and turned away and began walking. He then stopped and looked back at it. What was in it, could it be something valuable? No, Jake couldn't resort to stealing. If he did, was he really any better than the kid who stole the Ralts before?

But maybe if he tried to give it back in due course? Jake tossed a pokeball into the air and after it had exploded in white light, Abra stood before him. "Abra, can you do me a favour?" Jake asked the small psychic Pokémon. Jake knew she wouldn't approve but she knew his intentions were well. "Teleport to that bag, grab it, and teleport back to me." Jake said, he'd have a quick look through, try to find some identity, maybe even a Poketch number and choose what to take.

You don't have to worry about giving back in due course, as karma always has a way of coming back to bite you. But apparently you're not too worried about that since you're still going to get that bag some way. To make matters worse, instead of getting it yourself, you're having Abra get it for you so you won't be caught. I would personally feel bad for doing this, although my character wouldn't, but that's really besides the point. Anyways, Abra didn't approve of what you were asking of her, but she couldn't really deny anything you said.

With a Teleport, Abra was by the bag and she cautiously peeked at the trainer and slowly reached for the bag. It seemed like an eternity, but it was really only a few seconds before she had the trainer's belongings. Another Teleport got her back to you and she handed the bag over, which you immediately started to rummage through. Besides the Pokémon food and such, you did find some items, and the Poketch that belonged to him right away. Opening it, you saw that this belonged to a Justin Markwell of Wayford City, obviously a name you have never heard before.

After you rummaged through the whole bag, you found three Pokeballs that were obviously empty, seeing as how there were two clipped to the trainer's waist. Those ones must have the Pokémon that he had on him, which meant that if you wanted those, you'd have to get them. Other than that, all there was was something locked in a box, but you couldn't find a key anywhere that would open it. No doubt that was on the kid as well, and you could probably get it some way, although it would be risky. You make your decision as to what you will and will not take.

Jake looked through the bag and found a Poketch, he quickly registered the name and looked through the bag. There were a few Pokeballs in the bag but nothing else of value or that Jake needed. All his occupied Pokeballs were on the boy's belt. But Jake wouldn't steal them, he didn't need any more Pokémon. He then found a small locked box towards the bottom of his bag.

If it was in a locked box then it was obviously of great sentimental value to the boy, and who was he to take it away from him? Jake closed the bag and got as close as possible to the boy and gently sat the bag down trying to make least amount of noise as was possible. He had his MP3 player plugged in so that helped things a fair bit.

Assuming that this little ruse had pulled off without any hitches, Jake would continue onwards to Hurst and deliver the Pidgey that the trainer was likely to be getting anxious about now. He wasn't far from the town though, he was roughly halfway there. At a run he should be able to make it within a few minutes. With Abra once again atop his head, he began running towards the industrial city of Hurst.

Taking the three empty Pokeballs, and leaving the box as well as the kid's Pokémon, you placed the bag next to him. Slowly and carefully, so as not to make any noise, you got away from him and started back on your way to Hurst City. Abra didn't say anything to you on the whole way there, but I wonder what it is that she's thinking. While you may have taken the Pokeballs from the trainer, at least you didn't steal whatever was in the box. That could have been very special to the kid, just as you had said, and besides, it's not like the Pokeballs were that valuable. But you better get moving so you could get that Pidgey to the kid who wanted it so bad.

You felt for the ball that contained the Pidgey and found that it was missing, and when you looked, you saw that you were one Pokeball short. Great, somehow, the Pokeball containing Pidgey had either fallen or.. been swiped? Possibly as you were rummaging through that Justin kid's backpack, which would mean that... what? Justin was asleep the whole time you were looking through it, that much you knew. But did he maybe have a Pokémon that was around or something and that's what took your Pidgey, giving you an eye for an eye justice? Or maybe, it was someone else entirely, and you didn't know who, and that just wasn't any good, was it?

Looking around, you didn't see anyone or anything near by, and you knew that the only thing you could do was go back. Maybe, hopefully, it had just fallen off of your belt and you would find it on the ground, although that was unlikely. Still, it was better than just giving it all up, wasn't it? And even if you didn't drop it, if that Justin kid was still there, he might know where it was. Then again, you'd probably end up having to admit that you stole his Pokeballs, which could end in a bad way. It's up to you as to what you think you should do though.

Jake stared down at his belt in frustration. He had lost the Pidgey! He had one plain and simple job to do and all it was to catch and deliver a stupid Pidgey! Now Jake would have to find it! Luckily for him, he was a Pokémon trainer and so he could always rely on them if he ever needed any help. Abra and Ponyta were proof of this. Abra still didn't meet Jakes eyes. "Abra, you know I’ll give them back right?" Jake asked. She nodded and sighed but still didn't look at him.

Jake shook his head; maybe she was still in a bit of shock from his sudden change of heart. It was very unlike him to steal anything, or even borrow something without asking. Maybe it was all these changes on Tohea, maybe they were affecting Humans? Impossible, but it was weird at how some Pokémon had begun to disappear out in the open.

Could it be that something similar had happened t Pidgey? No it couldn't have, the bird was inside it's Pokeball at the time, they didn't disappear inside their Pokeballs now did they? Did they? Jake began to get quite worried, he may need to find and capture another Pidgey, and who knew how long it would be before another one appeared?

Jake finally tossed the three red and white spheres into the air. They opened and with a flurry of light, 3 small figures stood before him, next to Abra. Elekid, Lotad and Budew, all stood there looking at Jake, waiting for a command. Jake thought it would be best if Ponyta didn't help out with this one, she was absolutely exhausted, he didn't want to make things worse.

"Okay guys, I've lost a Pokeball out there and it's quite valuable so we need to get it back." All four nodded. Then Jake realised, Abra was a psychic Pokémon, perhaps she had sensed something or someone take the ball. Jake could tell Abra was scanning his mind for his thoughts. "Abra?" Jake asked her. She nodded and knew that she was the one to lead them to the missing Pokémon.

A search party for your Pokémon probably isn't going to help you much, or it wouldn't if it weren't for one thing. Your Abra would have noticed something like that happening, just as you predicted, and with your promise to return the stuff, she just may help. So all of your Pokémon turned around, and Abra led the way back to where you had seen that Justin guy. While they were walking, they were also all searching in the bushes and such in case it had fallen off. Except Abra, who seemed pretty confident in herself that she knew exactly where the Pidgey was.

When you came to where you had seen the sleeping guy, you saw that he was standing there with his arms crossed. A Gastly was perched on his shoulder and he held a Pokeball in his hand, and you could tell that it had to be the Pidgey. It must be that his Gastly was invisible while you were rummaging the bag, and as you did that, the ghost Pokémon stole your Pidgey. Proud of herself, Abra stopped and turned around, giving you the look that clearly said that now you had to do your part of the deal.

"Hello," Justin said. "I'd introduce myself, but I think you already know my name. You don't have to introduce yourself either, I'm a psychic in that I can speak telepathically to others who can as well. Abra has told me everything that has happened and says that you have promised to return my items back to me. Just be glad you didn't take the box, or else there would be no way I'd be giving you back your Pokémon." His chin up, he then continued on. "However, the fact that you tried ripping me off means that you have to pay in some way. A Pokémon battle. My Gastly versus... your Budew. I get to call the shots, and I don't think you have any say otherwise."

Oh, this guy was going to be harsh, and I really think he's right about you not having any say otherwise. Unless maybe you think you can change things to be in your favor? I really don't see how you can.
