Jake stared frantically now. Okay it was his thought that the kid couldn't breathe, but after the way he treated his Pokémon and other peoples for that matter, did Jake really want to help him? Jake now had a decision to make, would he go for the trainers pokeball, the Ralts' pokeball, or the kids inhaler? Jake sent Lotads Pokeball into the air, releasing it from his pokeball. Lotad still had just enough energy to retrieve one of the items. "Okay Lotad, I want you to go into the crowd and retrieve a pokeball much like this," Jake said pointing to Lotads ball. "It should be somewhere over in that direction," Jake said pointing in the direction that Ralts' pokeball had gone in and Lotad scuttled off to try to find it. Now there was a choice of 2 items. The inhaler or the trainers pokeball. If Jake retrieved the inhaler and gave it to the kid, would he snatch back Ralts' pokeball and the trainers? But if he took the Trainers pokeball, it might be too late for the kid. Jake had never faced such a hard decision. Jake sighed, as much as he hated and despised the kid for doing so much damage he couldn't let him die. But he wouldn't be attending to him first. Luckily Jake had fairly long legs and could run fairly fast. But would it be fast enough? Jake had decided that he would run into the croud, quickly find the trainers pokeball and rush back for the inhaler and give it to the kid. Jake just hoped Lotad was alright. |

Well this was nice day. Dodging through people, scattered items, stolen Pokémon. Weren't you having so much fun in the big city? As your Lotad waddled off looking for... what was it again? It couldn't recall. Battle tired and confused your Lotad didn't know what was going on. But alas it set its eyes on something and waddled in that direction. The thief boy seemed to be zoning out, like something was wrong. maybe it was time for you to rush and get his inhaler. Your choice was to go for the pokeball first, however, so now he had to wait longer. This decision could save his life or be his death. Finding the pokeball proved to be challenging. People continued to kick at it and it moved around incredibly fast. You rushed after it, tripping a few people and causing an uproar but you finally found your goal. You held the pokeball up in the sunlight and the light glinted off of it. Now for the Inhaler. The inhaler proved to be tougher. You hadn't followed it right from the start so now it was harder. Eventually your gaze drifted to a sewer opening right under the rub, with the inhaler dangling, threateningly close to falling. You sprinted towards it and took a great dive. No one could possibly say you were a bad person. Just as you were about to grab the inhaler your slight touch set it into motion and it slipped through the cracks. You gasped as it fell. a quick plup of water and it was lost forever. You ran back to the spot where the boy was, but h was gone. "Lotad." Your Pokémon waddled over to you with an almost perfectly round, Grey rock about the size of a pokeball in its lily pad back. Your face went grim, it was too dumb to recognize a pokeball. You looked up at a slight movement and the Swablu was back striking Lotad. Lotad was caught off guard and flipped over from impact. You heard the boy's devilish cackle as the Swablu flew off. You could chase him, but I'd worry about Lotad. ---------------------- 0/35 0%

(Does Ralts count as being on my team now?) Jake smiled at his hand and deposited the pokeball in it into his bag. He then smiled at his Lotad, even though he had not done what he had asked, he still found it slightly amusing that a rock had been mistaken for a pokeball. However this humour and light heartedness was cut very short. Swablu homed in on Lotad and attacked without mercy. Jake pulled Lotad's pokeball from his belt to recall the lily pad Pokémon. Now he just needed to get as far away from this area as possible. If the trainer really wanted his Pokémon that bad he'd find it. Unless he didn't even know it had disappeared yet. Then who'd be laughing? The arrogant punk whom had stolen it earlier. Jake clipped Lotad's pokeball back to his belt and scanned the area as thoroughly as he could. Where was the Pokémon center? He had two seriously injured Pokémon now and they needed to be healed quickly. Who knew what danger awaited if he couldn't get them healed? Hopefully he would be able to heal them extremely rapidly. |

((A trainer can't properly control another Pokémon that wasn't traded, so nope.
:) Unless it really liked you, of course.)) There was a Pokémon center down the street a way. If you could blend in with the crowd, you might be able to make it, depending if the boy saw you or not. But the bad thing was the Swablu that kept flying around, eyeing you with its beady, black eyes and letting out timed cries. It seemed like the Swablu was leading the boy right too you, and who knew what else this boy might have stolen at this point. You now had two Pokeballs with you, Lotad and one that was filled with a Ralts. You never really found out if the Ralts was a stolen Pokémon or not, and the mystery of the stolen Pokémon still laid as a mystery. The Swablu once more swooped down, its fluffy cloud wings breezing by your head as it once more jerked into the sky. It wasn't long before the boy stopped right in front of you, holding out another Pokeball as he launched it on the ground. "Finders, keepers!" A Feebas emerged, staring at you blankly in its dilapidated like state. The boy groaned, unable to believe his luck until... FWAP! A fist had mysteriously landed upon the boy's jaw, another Pokémon emerging as a Milotic swarmed the area. The small Feebas was recalled as the Milotic curled around its trainer. "There's a wanted poster at the Pokémon Center for the Ralts," the man the boy stole from earlier spoke. "I'll take care of this Swablu. Just hurry." Bubbles began to form around the Milotic as the Swablu suddenly tried to fly off. |

Jake stood frozen to the spot. A Milotic. Milotic was one of Jake's favourite Pokémon and yet here it was, right in front of him. But Jake couldn't waste time standing around marvelling at the most beautiful of all Pokémon now could he? No. He had more pressing matters that he needed to attend to and fast! So the Ralts was stolen after all. It only seemed right to give the Pokémon back, but the inner demons of Jake told him that he should keep it. Even though he wanted the Ralts madly, he had to do what was right, even if right was unfair on his own terms. But Ralts was not his, and someone, somewhere, didn't have their Ralts. Jake began to run into the direction that the man had indicated. How far away was it? 1 minute? 10 minutes? Could the man, even though his Pokémon weren't that of a threat, hold the boy off? Something seemed to have sparked his interest though. A reward was due for the return of the Ralts. Now left the question, what was this reward? |

So you ran. And ran. And ran some more. Wow, how far away was this place? However, it loomed up ahead now, a beacon in this dark day. Trainers were sliding in and out of the sliding doors, hugging tight to their Pokémon or looking sad. One boy was scolding his Doduo for fighting between, erm, itself as both heads were bandaged up. Another was carrying her Meowth who looked to be older than dirt. You dashed in to find this man, ignoring Doduo boy and his bickering bird and the kid with the cat. Inside, it was a madhouse. Trainers left and right were bunched onto benches with either sick pets or twiddling thumbs. Around you, it was hard to tell who had lost the Ralts you carried. But the sign was as clear as day on the notice board. "Stolen Ralts." An assistant walked up to you, asking for your Pokémon and what was wrong with them. As you told him the story, his eyebrows winged up. He nodded and took you over to where an old gentleman sat. He glanced up as you walked over, his mustache twitching on his face. The assistant told him the story and he looked at up, tears in his eyes. "Is it true? Have you found my Ralts?" he asked. Just the hope in his voice was painstakingly obvious he was very attached to the Pokémon. It would be a terrible thing to deny the existence of the Ralts now . The Center worker took Lotad to the back to heal up as the old man waited on you expectantly. |

Jake looked at his bag that was in his hand and let out a sigh. The magnitude that Jake wanted this Pokémon was not even describable in words. But Jake knew that this man was the rightful owner, and to close off the bond that the Pokémon and trainer had together, was just wrong in every sense imaginable. Jake took from his bag the red and white orb that he had just rushed off to find in the midst of the crowd in the square outside. Although, it would do some good, just to see some more happiness and joy in the world. But Jake, ever so slightly wondered what had happened of the thief. Jake didn't dwell on it long. Jake handed over the pokeball to the man. To even contemplate stealing the precious Pokémon inside was just stupid in such a place, and just plain wrong to anyway. Jake didn't have the burning hatred and desire to steal anything and anyone who did was just out for attention. "Here you go then," Jake said turning over the orb to the man who looked simply delighted to have the precious Pokémon back. "Just promise me one thing and one thing only," Jake said to the man whose attention seemed to be turned on no-one but him. "Just look after that Ralts as best you can please." Jake finished. Even though Jake was glad, he assumed there would be a reward for retrieving his missing Pokémon. |

The man looked up at you and smiled as the pokeball struck his lap. With an older-person smile, he reached into a bag that was sitting beside him, and pulled out something shiny. In his hands was something shiny, something so shiny that the light from the flourescent lights above bounced off of it, masking the oval in pure light. Soon enough, the man turned his hand, and lowered it so that the light no longer reflected, and now , all that there was, was a Pokémon egg standing firm in his hand. "Here you go youngin', for returning mah raltz, you get this Pokémon egg. It's the least I can do." He said, before quickly putting the egg in your hands and releasing an abra. "Abra, take me to Tohea." He said, as the Abra did just that by using Teleport. Now you were left standing with an egg in your arms, and you didn't even know what Pokémon was IN[/IO] the egg, much less what two Pokémon bred to make it. Soon enough, the man from before came up to you and handed you your Lotad's pokeball. He noticed the egg in your hands and his eyes widened. "Hey, would you be willing to trade that egg for one of my Pokémon?" He asked, grabbing three pokeballs off his belt and holding them out to you. "I'll trade any one of them, they are all semi-rare, but they are all baby Pokémon. One is a Munchlax, another is a Pichu, and another is a Cleffa." He said, hoping you'd agree to trade him the egg for one of his Pokémon. But, if you traded... there was the chance of loosing a potentially rare Pokémon for... well... a new baby. So, what's your decision? {{ If you decide to trade, request me :) }} |

Jake looked at the egg, awestruck. This was much more than he had expected. There was a possibility of over 200 of the Pokémon inside the hard cold shell of the egg. How could anyone possibly guess what was inside? It could be a magikarp, or maybe even a shiny Pokémon? Who knew? Only with time would anyone know. Now this man had handed back Lotad's pokeball which he clipped to his belt. He was now offering the choice of three baby Pokémon in exchange for the egg that layed in Jake's hands. Munchlax, Cleffa or Pichu? If truth be told, Jake didn't really like any of those Pokémon, or their evolutions and so it was very clear what Jake intended to do. Jake looked at the egg in his bare hands and then to the man who stood in front of him. "I'm sorry," Jake said. "But I'm gonna keep this egg." "I could be giving away an extremely precious Pokémon here, i'm sure you understand." Jake said. "Oh, thanks for bringing me back my Lotad." He added. |

"No problem. Your Lotad was no trouble at all," the Center assistant said. Even though he seemed unchanged from the situation, there was a certain tone in his voice that somewhat betrayed his disappointment. "I'm sorry that none of my Pokémon caught your interest." He then sidled away to continue with his duties, which included patching up a nearby Eevee on a stretcher. So...You had disappointed someone, but perhaps it was for your own benefit. After all, that egg had been a gift for a job well done. Perhaps it was even rarer than the Pokémon that the man had offered you, even? Rare or not, you'd probably love it anyway, considering that you were now the egg's "parent". With Lotad now healed, you could explore the wondrous city of Wayford some more, or continue onward. With a new family member at your disposal, you'd have to pay special attention to the baby until it hatched, and then decide to deal with it from there how you choose. Suddenly, a furry tail filled your vision, as something landed on your head.... "Whoops! Sorry about that!" you heard a young feminine voice say to you as the furry tail was lifted out of your vision and into the arms of a blond girl of about twelve. "Goony doesn't know how disturbing he can be sometimes." Indeed, the fuzzy tail had belonged to a mischievous Zigzagoon, who was now squirming in pleasure in the girl's arms. The girl fixed you with a stare, as though she was sizing you over. As she did so, her face started turning red.... Wait...Hopefully, this didn't mean what you thought it did! No, it couldn't be... |

Jake wasn't to fussed about being a landing spot for the girls Zigzagoon, in fact it was quite comfortable, it was warm and furry a moving blanket almost. He smiled at the zigzagoon that had a tenacity for jumping on trainers heads according to the trainer. Jake needed to get one of these for the winter seasons. They might be able to keep his ears warm and toasty. Jake chuckled to himself. Jake then looked at the trainer who was eyeing him up and down trying to determine personality and style. Jake looked down at the egg in his hands, it was fine, he didn't honestly expect it to hatch yet but how long had the man had this before he had given to Jake? Only the man knew and he was likely to be miles away. Jake turned his attention back to the trainer who's Zigzagoon had leaped back to her quite happily. Jake noticed that for some reason her face was slowly turning to a reddish colour. It was becoming darker and darker by the second but Jake honestly didn't know what was wrong with the girl. Was she having trouble breathing or just...angry? |

:heart :heart :heart :heart :heart Ah, you truly are clueless, arn't you? But we can't expect you to know everything, now can we? [/joking] Well, as this girl looked at you, her cheeks slowly turned red as she blushed. He's so cute... She thought to herself as she continued to blush, slowly becoming redder and redder. "Uhm..." Her voice came out sweatly, as she now looked down at the ground. Why was she being so shy? The girl looked up and smiled, her blonde hair behind her as she put a half-clenched fist over her mouth, her eyes now looking aside to the ground past you. "Nice egg..." She commented before looking back up briefly to your eyes, which were drilling into hers for a moment before she turned away. "My name is Belle... Anabelle..." She said, introducing herself to you while still looking at thr ground. For the first time, she looked into your eyes and you took notice of her figure. Her body pretty... developed... for her appearance, she wore a tight white shirt, and on her waist rested a light pink skirt. On her wrist, a pink poketech. Hm, why did her appearance catch your attention now though? Egg Hatching Time: 50%{From when it was with the man} |

(oh right)(Pretty developed? Lol) Jake merely smiled. He couldn't begin to think of what was going through this girl's head at the moment. But he now knew that she didn't look angry, neither was she trying to suffocate herself. It seemed that she was in a daze looking rather dreamy. What was she thinking, a book should definitely be published to let men know about women. Then it suddenly dawned on him. The dreamy expression, the pink complication, the shyness, the non-suffocation. It all added up! She had a really bad fake tan job! Or was it, Jake thought, something more emotional, something that delved much deeper than the surface and resided deep within the veins of this young girl. Was it love? Or merely infatuation. She didn't seem to be that confident or maybe she was just stricken by infatuation. The only words that the girl who looked roughly about the same age as him were 'Nice egg'. Even though it was slightly funny at what she had said Jake did not laugh. It was a mark of early friendship that he didn't laugh at slight blunders like that. After the girl known now by the name of Belle had introduced herself to Jake, he felt it only polite to return the gesture to her. "My names Jake," He said extending his arm to shake the girls. If she truly were in love or even infatuated with Jake then at least this was a start of what could be a beautiful friendship. |

The girl smiled underneath her hand as she extended her free hand out to you. "Nice to meet you... Jake." She said shyly as she shook your hand. Goony remained curled into a ball as he appeared a hat on Belle's head. "Goony.. return." She said as she removed her hand from her mouth and grabbed a pokeball, calling her Pokémon back to it while she looked at you. "So... Jake..." Belle spoke, placing her hand back to her mouth as she did so, "How long have you had it?... Your egg I mean..." She said still shy, reaching into her bag for a moment before bringing out an egg, much like the one you carried, only that this one was about 3/4 the size of yours. Looking at the egg in her hands, you wondered how rare eggs really were. "I just got this one about a week ago, my friend bred his Spinda and Eevee, just for me." She said, now feeling a bit more comfortable, talking about her friend. She then looked at you and became shy once again, "Where did you get yours?" She wondered, as she grabbed a cloth and started shining her egg, wrapping it up nicely before putting it back in her bag. {Sorry, I'm just drawing a blank here. Feel free to request anyone, I don't have any plans xD} |

Jake looked at his egg, to Belle's, then back to his. It was fairly dirty, was he meant to polish it? Would that somehow contribute to the length of time needed for the egg to hatch? Examining her egg further, it seemed to be fairly smaller than his. Jake has always thought that eggs were the same size. Did that mean that he would have a bigger Pokémon. When Jake looked deeper into it, the egg that Belle held was either an Eevee or a Spinda, both quite small Pokémon. Jake's Pokémon therefore would only be slightly bigger. Or maybe it had managed to compress itself or was something that just liked a lot of room. Who knew? Jake listened to Belle's question, only problem was he didn't truthfully know the answer. He could only answer the question to the best of his ability. "Well I only received this egg a couple of moments ago as a reward for getting back this guys Ralts, but from what I can tell it's about halfway to hatching." Jake said. He didn't really want to stay in this Pokécenter much longer, he was beginning to feel Claustrophobic now. People upon people were swarming through the doors and now Jake was finding it hard to breath. "Listen Belle, I need to get some fresh air, do you wanna come?" This was not only an invitation to go outside, but to tag along throughout their journey's together. |
