(I better get for this. It isn't a real battle with Pokémon, but its still a battle.)I watched as my Pokémon fought the statues. Statues. That was a first and probably (hopefully) a last. Well, Heracross managed to get a decent try of Brick Break on the Garchomp statue. But he let go of his energy at the last minute, leaving only a minor crack. Caligula was faring pretty well with the Dragonite statue, managing to leave a number of scorch marks and cracks. Captain continued to store his energy, just like I'd asked. Now, I told him, "Captain, we're going to try to use an advanced move here. Its called Fire Blast. Use Ember, but in a single enormous ball, not a stream of pellets. Use it on Garchomp. Try your best, my friend." Hopefully, he would succeed. I told Heracross, "Try again with Brick Break. This time don't lose concentration. Hold through until the end. Go for it." |

(Why must you complicate things? XD...Since they're statues, you'll get some , but not a crapload)"Bra...abra...," Caligula kept grunting, exchanging blows with the Dragonite statue as well; not all of his ducking was in vain, but the little Abra was starting to get pretty beat up. Much of the Dragonite statue was now blackened and severely cracked, but this guy would definitely need some backup soon. Caligula was doing some of his dodging with Teleport, but the statue was starting to read his tricks and patterns with the move; soon the psychic type would have no strength left. While Captain worked on trying to do what you commanded, Heracross once again tried to use Brick Break. This time, it didn't take as long for his right hand to glow white, and by concentrating all of his power, he brought it down full force on the Garchomp statue's head as it tried to bite him. The statue made a gurgling grunt as the blow left a giant crack on his head; seconds later, the crack started spreading and splitting all over the statue, finally causing it to break apart into huge chunks. Some of the pieces moved feebly for a moment, and then a purplish essence left the statue in a wisp of smoke. "Haaaauuuunnnt..." They don't make stone busts like they used to. Having no target, Captain turned towards the Dragonite statue to practice his attack. A huge fireball was now in his mouth, and when he felt he was ready, he expelled the...small thing...at the Garchomp statue. The attack wasn't even halfway there, however, before it fizzled out on the spot; not even the sparks from it reached the statue. Frustrated, Captain charged the statue and rammed it into the remains of a nearby wall to get rid of it. Some pieces of it broke off, and Caligula finished it by using a few more attacks of his own. Like the last statue, the Haunter faded away as soon as it was exposed...for the present time. With that happy threat taken care of, you can now go to the end of the hall and check out that room with the weird music. Whatever you may find in there, let's hope that it'll be fairly pleasant...if not, you could always try the rest of this floor, or else go to the attic.... Brick Break: 100%! Fire Blast: 8% Caligula gained 50 and grew to Level 6!Captain gained 50 and grew to Level 8!Heracross gained 50 !

Victory is lovely. My Pokémon were victorious in battling the foolish statues. Well, they were actually Haunters inhabiting the statues, but that is beside the point. I released Gastly from his Pokeball into the world and the five of us, Gastly, Caligula, Captain, and Heracross all walked down the hall. As we walked down the hall, the scratchy music from before began to get louder and louder, which I figured meant that we were getting closer. As we walked, floated, or were carried (lazy Caligula) along, I began to muse to myself about what I might do in the future. If I found a Ditto in this building, it would give me the power to be one of the greatest thieves in the world. I thought, I could go into buildings without anyone knowing I was there. I would take whatever I wanted and leave a calling card behind. The world would know fear when they heard my name. No, that wouldn't do. I would have to do something else. I know. I'll turn my name around and get a new name. I shall become Evan Noder, Falcon of Twilight. Yeah. That would be great. I stopped this train of thought as I reached the door to the room with the scratchy music. I turned towards it and stepped inside. |

Stepping inside the room, you first found it to be rather uneventful as your eyes raked in the surroundings. A moldy and faded old Victorian carpet still stubbornly clung to the floor. There were a few small holes here and there, obvious facts that the wood under this was likewise rotting. The walls were adorned with empty picture frames and peeling wallpaper that was so faded that it was almost white. The remains of an old bed and a creaky wooden chair were in the room, and right next to the chair was a wooden desk which bore the old photograph on its top. The record on it was jerking around on the old machine, trying to scream out the final cries of the ancient music. Behind the player was an old glass window; it was still intact, and probably would have provided a grand view had most of it not been choked in ivy. As your eyes adjusted to the dark room, you saw what seemed to be an old man sitting in the old wooden chair. His pasty-white skin sharply contrasted the black suit which he was wearing. His black shoes seemed old and worn, and his half-blind eyes stared in your direction. His breathing was shallow, and his cheeks only had a tinge of pink left in them. Most of his head was bald; obviously he was so ancient that his scalp didn't even bother producing hair anymore. His breathing was shallow, and you could tell that he was still alive...or was he? You had learned by now not to take everything in this house for granted. Gazing at you for the longest time, his aged eyes took in every single new thing that had just entered his room. Namely this was you and your Pokémon. Chuckling dryly, he carefully rose from the creaky chair and ambled slowly towards you, muttering incoherently and breathing with a rasp until he stopped about five feet away from you. "You want Ditto, is that it?" he hissed, his feeble voice barely above a whisper. "Tricky little devils, they are, so full of tricks..." The man's voice drowned in a gurgle as his skin and clothing seemed to melt and meld together. The shape vaguely remained humanoid, and you could hardly withhold your shock as the thing melded into the loser who had started you on this whole goose chase. "Especially when they have ghosts to help him," the man finished in the voice that you had just heard a few hours earlier. "Here's a riddle. Ghosts are ever-changing, crafty, sly, often immortal, and very loyal. The same holds for Ditto and, in most cases, humans. Now tell me, am I a figment of your imagination, or am I real? Answer me, child." His eyes bored into yours before continuing, "And you will prove yourself worthy or not with your answer. Do you see what most humans do not? Or do you rely on petty gambles like most of your foolish race, sometimes losing your own life as a result?" A dull clap of thunder resounded from outside. You couldn't see it now, but black clouds were starting to block out the sun and cast the earth into a greenish light. The clouds thickened and expanded, covering the whole sky and slowly swirling around in a clockwise fashion. In the middle of them a sort of black vortex opened up, spitting out bright green fireballs as they landed all over the Tohean islands. These wouldn't affect you...for now. You could go and check them out, but that really depended on what you would want. Once in a while you saw a flash of green through what little window there was left to see out of; however, you thought nothing of it at first. "And by the way, your Rare Candies were delicious. Humans can consume them too, you know." Edited by DDXD001, Oct 7 2008, 07:30 PM.

((OOC: Just a note. I'm stopping to grab a Cthulu Pokémon at some point. Assuming I have enough Pokeballs.)) I entered the room with the scratchy music to find a little old man sitting in a chair. He was probably the oldest man I've ever seen, but that was no matter. As I walked closer to him, he began muttering to himself. He stood up and said, "You want Ditto, is that it?" At this moment, I became suspicious and well, it was not unwarranted. He continued talking about tricks or something and then, HE BECAME THAT F***ING ASSHOLE WHO TOLD ME TO COME HERE! That in itself just shocked me so much that I don't remember what happened before that. After that, the man/creature/thing asked me a simple, yet complicated riddle. His words, as I remember them were such: Here's a riddle. Ghosts are ever-changing, crafty, sly, often immortal, and very loyal. The same holds for Ditto and, in most cases, humans. Now tell me, am I a figment of your imagination, or am I real? Answer me, child." Here, he paused for a second before continuing. I think he wanted to psych me out, but it didn't really work. "And you will prove yourself worthy or not with your answer. Do you see what most humans do not? Or do you rely on petty gambles like most of your foolish race, sometimes losing your own life as a result?" His words confused me. I didn't see the point. What difference did it make if he was real? He was real enough. In a world of Pokémon, anything is possible. So his shape-changing doesn't make him no longer real. But again, such things make no difference. I continued to think about it and came to the only logical conclusion. He was real enough. As I thought, the man mentioned something about eating my Rare Candies, but I was busy thinking so I didn't catch the whole of it. I whispered in my mind out to Caligula, but his answer wasn't very helpful. Don't ask me. Its your riddle. Course, I already know the answer. Thus, I went with my gut. I said to the crazy old man, "You are real... However, before you tell me anything, I'd like to explain my reasoning. It matters not whether you are in my mind or in the real world. Your presence has influenced me in what I perceive to be the real world. Your actions have made me different than I might have been, and thus, you are real. Real to me. And in this circumstance, that is all that matters." As I said this, I walked slowly closer to the shape-shifting man, until I was inches away from him. I stared him in the eye and dared him to tell me I was wrong. There were no two ways about it. He had to be real. Edited by Blazing Falcon, Oct 7 2008, 08:59 PM.

The man laughed softly at your answer. The strange laughter didn't really tell you anything, but his eyes are what really drew you in. They seemed to be dark gray pits of nothingness, sucking you up and absorbing you into their depths. "Well phrased and thought out, better than what many could have done. Very well then, you have, in short, proven your worth. I am real...to you. I am not a form of Hypnosis or illusion that the ghosts have put on you. I am of flesh and blood, correct? Well, I am...most of the time." His mouth melted away into nothingness, and his human form changed again. The height adjusted a little, his skin a mixture of colors all sprayed and fused together on a peach-colored canvas. Standing in front of you now was...you. He...or it...had been drinking in your every little detail the moment before, and was now...a mirror image of you? Yes, only one thing could do that...your memory and consciousness leaped as you finally realized what you were dealing with. "The ghosts," the doppelganger said in your voice, "are all friends of my late master as well as myself. Yes, as you are no doubt thinking, I AM a Ditto which you seek. Few of us reside in the city anymore, picked off by greedy trainers. We are careful, very careful, only exposing ourselves to those who we would enjoy as trainers, which exempts the foolish and naive legions of your race...and only singles out the ones with signs of true intellect and genius. We are neutral in what the said intellect is put into, only appreciating those who can actually use it to their means." Melding into a much smaller form, this time a copy of Caligula, you heard its mental voice inside your head. "You can think, you are not easily phased, and I honestly appreciate your potential. Your final test, naturally, will be ME." Then, the Abra shape slowly melted into a shapeless pink blob that you were very much familiar with, not to mention you were obsessed over it. "Ditto..." the thing droned, flexing its simmering shape a little as it grinned at you. Obviously the said grin said, "come get me" as plain as day. This was the moment you were waiting for, so why not finish it now in this old wreck? Despite the phenomena that was going on outside right now, this seemed legions more important to you. :genderless Lv. 15(Hope you enjoyed this little plot. Feel free to request anyone if you so wish, as this is just a semi-basic battle now since Ditto has been introduced) |

OOC: VICTORY! "Well, well, well. A wild goose chase that finally led back to where it all began. How stereotypical." I said to the shape that changed quickly from the crazy old street seller into an exact copy of myself. I watched me and listened as I spoke. I said to me (re: the Ditto said to me), "I AM a Ditto which you seek. Few of us reside in the city anymore, picked off by greedy trainers. We are careful, very careful, only exposing ourselves to those who we would enjoy as trainers, which exempts the foolish and naive legions of your race...and only singles out the ones with signs of true intellect and genius. We are neutral in what the said intellect is put into, only appreciating those who can actually use it to their means." I quipped silently to myself, Victory. He not only wants to join my party, but he doesn't care how he is used. As long as it is intelligently. The copy of me turned into Caligula, and then turned into its base form, the pink blob known as Ditto. Its smile told me the one thing I had left to know. "Come and get me," it said. And I was definitely about to do that. I said to the Ditto. "You want a fight, right? Well, you're going to get one. And I'm holding nothing back. Get ready for hell." Turning to my Pokémon I said, "All of you listen up. Bronzor, Gastly, use Hypnosis from two angles. Caligula, watch from the sidelines and go in for a Fire Punch with Teleport at random intervals. Captain, try to use Fire Blast again. Charge up your fiery energy and be prepared to unleash it at my command. Heracross, I want you to use Agility and then Night Slash." As I finished a command, each of my Pokémon began to do what I asked. Soon, I had five Pokémon against the one Ditto. My Meowth was being saved for a certain reason, but she would play her part. |

(Oh is this going to be confusing. :( ) Your Pokémon got ready to do their attacks. Charmander stored his fiery energy, Abra Teleported across the room until it was close enough to land a succesful Fire Punch, Bonzor and Ghastly moved around to position themselves for their combined Hypnosis, and Heracross sped around the room with Agility and then tried to get close enough to use Night Slash. What a massive order of attacks. The Ditto looked around as to who to copy first. It decided the best one to be was your beloved Ghastly. After all it is a ghost and can go Intagible and Invisible. The Ditto started to morph around and you waited patiently as you could until you found out which one it would turn to be. Finally it stoped moving around and you saw it change into your Ghastly. Your Bronzor and Ghastly let out their Hyponsis attack and they both hit! The Ditto fell and landed on the ground. Now was the perfect time to attack. Abra stoped right in front of the morpher and used Fire Punch. Of course it hit the only way it wouldn't is if the Abra was blind. Abra then teleported out of the way as to not get hit by an attack. Your Charmander then let out it fiery energy in a Fire Blast. Unfortunitly the attack didn't go far and all that hit the Ditto was a small amout of fire. It looked disappointed put it still got experence with the attack. Lastly, it was your Heracross's turn to let out it's Night Slash. The only thing is that because Ditto copied Ghastly the attack would be super effective! Heracross ran up (but slipped on a nail! No I'm that mean.) and used the attack. Not only was it super effective, it was also a critical hit! Some how the Ditto was still alive and was now awake. It used Lick on Ghastly and Bronzor, who looked supprised at Ditto still being unfainted, and wraped them up in the gross attack. So what are you going to do. ((OOC: Ditto is level 15, btw. And Charmander doesn't know Fire Blast yet. Its only learned 8% of it.)) I watched the pink blob transform into Gastly and wondered why my team didn't attack while it was morphing. I shrugged it off as unimportant because perhaps they held a respect for the pink blob. Who knows. I didn't really care because once Ditto transformed into my ghostly ball of gas, Gastly, things started to look up. Bronzor and Gastly landed their dual Hypnosis attacks, making Ditto defenseless. Caligula darted right in and landed a Fire Punch on the now sleeping Gastly. Heracross bolted across the room to land a devastating Night Slash attack. I stood there waiting for the results of battle to come in and when I looked down on Ditto, I found that it wasn't down yet. He was tough. But I was tougher. Bronzor and Gastly both got licked by Ditto's long tongue, but it wasn't much of a hindrance. Now it was time to finish Ditto off. I lifted my little Meowth off of my shoulder and whispered my commands to her. "Go up behind Ditto and use Scratch, but do it lightly so as to tickle him, not hurt him. You know which one is which right?" The little creature nodded and ran off into the fray, darting around with Agility to increase her speed. Turning back to my other Pokémon, I said, "Gastly, use Lick on Ditto. Bronzor, follow his lead with Confusion. Heracross, use Aerial Ace, but be careful not to take Ditto out for good. Captain, Caligula, stand by for my command. Your powers aren't necessary at the moment." Both Caligula and Captain looked miffed about this, but they held their ground. My other Pokémon, went off to carry out their commands. I, on the other hand, took out a Pokeball and held it in my hand. I said to Ditto, "You know, we don't have to fight. You want to come with intelligent trainers, right? You know that I am intelligent, so why bother with fighting? It seems a waste of energy. If you want to end the fighting, come here and enter the Pokeball." I doubted my peace agreement would work, but I had noticed some strange phenomena outside and I really wanted to check it out. |

(I should've upped its level higher just to tick you off. XD I forgot your Heracross was that high in terms of level) "But battling is where the sport is. Is that not what humans term as battling half of the time? Oh yes, you want to go outside, but do you really want to risk the flames of another world?" the thing answered almost haughtily in thought-speak via ghost, as it eyed you with the exact appearance of your own ghost type. Although that last sentence seemed like a kind of prophesy for your immediate future more than anything...although I'm sure someone like Vince Roden doesn't care. While he was taunting you (although he may have planned it), your Meowth was able to come around behind the Gastly. Even though Scratch normally wouldn't work on the said ghost, the only variable here was that you supposed that Ditto were ticklish. As it turned out, both your assumption and Nurse Joy's advice proved to be correct. Causing barely any damage, the Scratch Cat Pokémon started tickling away and leaving the now-laughing Ditto/Gastly almost immobile from mirth. All the better for you. Again, maybe it was just testing you more than your own wit, but that was all up to your interpretation of the matter. Taking his chance, Gastly floated up to his laughing copy and used a nasty Lick right on the opponent's face, causing it to have a rather disgusted look before it continued laughing. Although the attack was super effective, it didn't cause a crud load of damage. That was where your loyal Heracross came in. As Aerial Ace did affect ghost types, he zoomed in from above and slammed into the Gastly, knocking it down to the floor. Nonetheless, the Ditto was being slowly subdued as Meowth kept tickling it; she actually seemed to be enjoying herself in such a dismal house. It looks as though the Ditto wants to do this properly, and it is in catching range, so why not? (To save your next ref from dealing with five million calculations, I'm going to elevate all of your Pokémon up one level (with the same HP amounts) in order to avoid confusion. Unless, of course, you refuse. If you don't want it to happen that way, feel free to take your calculations and move back. Call this my compensation for giving you h*** in this house...and what will come. My plan worked and Meowth got in its tickling as Ditto taunted me for wanting to end the fight and leave. He made some strange cryptic response about me not wanting to "brave the fires of another world," but I didn't even care. It looked cool and if there was something to be gained by it, I would find it. So, I watched as Ditto's health slowly began to plummet. As I watched, I pulled a Pokeball from my poket. This Ditto was mine. Realizing that Meowth tickling was not an effective attack, I spoke to my other Pokémon. "Gastly, use Lick again. Heracross, standby with a Night Slash attack. If after Gastly's attack, my Pokeball doesn't catch the Ditto, go for it. However, hold back because we don't want Ditto out cold. Got it?" Gastly began to float towards the uproariously laughing Ditto. Heracross buzzed his ascent. As I did so, I motioned Captain, Caligula, and Bronzor over to me. I began to give them commands quickly because I couldn't miss my chance. "Caligula, teleport outside the building and tell me what sort of thing is making those crazy green fireballs. Got it?" The fox nodded and vanished, muttering in my mind about doing my dirty work. I grinned mildly. For my other two Pokémon, I gave the following commands. "Captain, try using Fire Blast again. Blow a hole in the wall to the outside with it. Bronzor, build up your psychic energy for a Confusion that can bring us down to the earth unharmed. Got it you two?" They both gave answers in the form of the sound of their names and went to work. |

As Ditto was still partially subdued from the tickling, your Gastly had almost no problem using a super effective Lick attack against his counterpart. Still being tickled to death by this time, the Ditto subconsciously reformed to its original shape. Seizing your chance, you cast your Pokeball, praying that this rare Pokémon would be concealed inside. The Ditto was engulfed in a red flash of light as it was sucked into the Pokeball. The said ball bounced violently, its lock clicking back and forth as the Ditto tried to escape. However, this wouldn't be the case as the lock finally sealed a moment later, and the Ditto was transported to your PC storage system. Congrats, you finally caught Ditto! Meanwhile, Caligula had Teleported outside of the building in order to observe the fireballs. He noted with precision that they seemed to be falling out of some sort of black vortex in the clouds like hail. They seemed to be touching down all over and around the vicinity of the Tohean Islands, from what he could tell. Fires were starting all over the city, and the fireballs were leaving impact crater sites...and what were those things moving around within them? He relayed this all back to you, before adding, "Oh, and...duck." Scarcely had this transmission reached you when a great flash of green light emerged from seemingly all sides. One of the green fireballs had entered the very room that you had battled in, and now the house was on fire. Normal-colored flames licked at the ancient house; a house of this age would go up completely within minutes. Even now you could hear the wails of the ghost Pokémon that lived here as they fled the building and to God-knows-where. Serves them right for bugging you in the first place. Captain's Fire Blast was now unnecessary as there was a huge hole in the wall. The fireball had splintered through the floor and landed on the level below, but you didn't want to stick around enough to find out whether it had a soft landing. Sensing that you had to escape the house because of this (and following orders), Bronzor used Confusion to levitate you and your Pokémon party onto the ground outside of the decrepit and now-burning mansion. And then, seemingly all hell broke loose. Some of the rapidly-spreading flames had reached an old gas heater in the attic, and your whole world was dazzled as the whole house exploded as though a bomb had been planted inside. If both Bronzor and the now-present Caligula hadn't generated a psychic barrier, you would have been burned to a crisp from the plume of flames and fire that now surrounded you. As it was, you could feel the dulled heat even through the shield, and even that was intense. When the initial explosion calmed a minute later, most of the house had been leveled; burning pieces of wood, metal, and cloth littered the weedy yard, sending up smoke towards the twilight-colored, black cloud-choked sky. The only sign that a house had been there was the basement, and even then it was little more than a gaping concrete hole. Through the smoke and flames coming from the said concrete hole flew a strange creature, its heavy bulk landing in front of you and your team. :... :genderless Lv. 12 The massive eight-foot-tall creature looked as though it had just stepped out of a horror movie. In fact, it looked like the sick spawn of ET, a Vampire, and a squid melded all in one. It surveyed your team before hungrily extending out some of its tentacles and wrapping up your Bronzor within them. Even as you watched, the steel/psychic type looked weaker. Some way or another, this beast was draining your little tambourine. Gonna do something about that? I highly doubt you'll run off screaming like a little girl. |

As Ditto was subdued and evtually caught, I nodded in approval. It looked like I had succeeded and thus it was time to move on. Caligula returned to me and whispered in my head, O...and duck. I complied quickly, but the wall in front of me suddenly exploded and a green fireball knocked the house down and caught it on fire. "Sh*t," I muttered quietly. Bronzor carried all of us out of the building and we touched ground looking at the building as it burned slowly. Suddenly, the world in front of me was blocked by a strange barrier. And then, I could see flames and I felt like I was going to be burned to a crisp. I shrank backwards only to find myself locked into a psychic barrier that prevented me from being simply a pile of ash on the ground. After a while, the fires subsided and I realized that the fires in the house must have hit an old gas line and well, the rest is science at work. As I looked at the hole in the ground where the house used to be, a giant beast towered over the hole and looked at me. A long tentacle stretched out to grab Bronzor, and when it let go of the metal thing, Bronzor looked weaker. I frowned in disaproval. This thing was large enough to be a brute on the field, but it appeared to be strong enough to destroy my Bronzor. I growled out commands angrily. "Bronzor, use Hypnosis and then Confusion. Gastly, go invisible and then use Lick. Caligula, try to create a psychic barrier like you just did. Try to make it block any attacks that come your way. Captain, try to use Fire Blast again. And Heracross, use Brick Break. All of you, GO!" Everyone jumped to carry out my commands and the fight began. |

[[For move teaching your commands are kinda simple. You may actually want to note in your post that you're teaching Reflect/Barrier BTW.]] As the beast appeared before you and drained your Bronzor of energy, you could see that it definately wasn't of this world. But as you finished commanding your Pokémon the most was engulfed by the green flame in which it had come and it seemed to be preparing to leave again. Before that could happen though your Bronzor -weakened by the monster- started to release a Hypnosis which was only blockaded by the monsters flame, but after the Hypnosis bronzor released a pulse of energy towards the flame that caused it to split for a moment. While the monster looked towards Bronzor again, its tentacles wildly vibrating as they headed towards Bronzor again, Gastly disappeared and reappeared right infront of the monster, wiping his tongue right across its face. The monster seemed to be uneffected by the disgusting attack, but immediately after completely the attack your Gastly just started to shiver alot and floated about mindlessly in Confusion. It appeared as though this monster had inflicted your Pokémon with confusion, possibly without trying, while it still wrapped tentacles around Bronzor and started to absorb his health and make it his own, the green flame beginning to form around its body yet again. Caligula looked at you confused as if he hadn't know what the heck you were talking about when you said Psychic Barrier. He nodded after a while and did his best to create a replica of what he'd done before, though he'd been feeding off of Bronzor's Psychic-Energy aswell using Synchronize while doing it. Still, a small flicker of energy formed ahead of him, but almost immediately broke as he continued to try again, this time creating a very thin wall ahead of both you and him. While Caligula struggled with Barrier, it seemed as though Captain was also struggling to manipulate the embers that were slowly piling up in his mouth. When he couldn't take it anymore though he released the ember in what looked to be a fireball about the size of his head. At the release things looked pretty good, but the strength of the blast seemed a little too much for the small dragon and sent him back while it traveled forward. The ball of fire traveled at a pretty nice speed, though it didn't seem to be taking the form of a regular fireblast as it just struck the flame the beast was in, vanishing soon after. The beast then looked down towards Captain and Caligula before throwing Bronzor -having been unable to escape the monsters grasp, and now knocked out- to the ground. The monster bubbled something from its hidden mouth and whipped its tentacles towards Captain, ensnaring the little dragon in them as he drew him closer to his face. Now you had One Pokémon Knocked Out, one Struggling to learn Barrier, One Confused beyond hope, and one caught in the beasts tentacles. What's the next plan of action? :... 42/49 89%VS ![]() KO KO![]() 34/43 91%[[Losing HP Fast]] [[Fireblast - 20%]] ![]() 45/45 94%[Confused] ![]() 39/39 93%[[Barrier - 13%]] [[Have Fun xD]] Edited by Acubenz, Nov 9 2008, 03:53 PM.

((OOC: 1. What happened to Heracross? 2. I'm teaching Light Screen, Reflect, and Barrier all at once. Just bear with me. I got it in control.)) I looked on in horror as my Pokémon were each systematically destroyed. Well, not destroyed, but each of them was experiencing hell. Bronzor was fainted and lying on the ground uselessly. I returned the bronze Pokémon to its Pokeball and turned my attention to what was next. It looked like the tentacled behemoth was draining Captain of his health. Captain was my first Pokémon on Tohea. His fainting was not allowed. I roared in fury at the beast. It would not succeed in taking me down. I picked up a rock from the ground and whipped it at the beast. Years of traveling and clambering around in ridiculous places had made me strong. Still, I doubted I was strong enough to even land a smarting blow on the beast in front of me. I grinned because I knew that wasn't the point. This creature had messed with me a bit too much. Now, I was going to give it a taste of hell. I called to Heracross, "Heracross, use Agility and then Aerial Ace. Its going to take some serious hurting to bring this brute down." The blue bug waved its enormous horn and vanished as it increased its speed. I then turned to my little Meowth. She was small and vulnerable, but her miniature size played in my favor. I told her, "Meowth, go to the rear of the thing and provide a distraction. Use Agility and whatever else you feel is necessary. Hopefully I've confused it with my blow." She too vanished out of my sight. As I looked at the beast, a voice rang in my head. Vince, this creature is stronger than all of us. Is it wise to be doing this? I replied in the same fashion, saying Wise? No. But the creature will be useful to us later. Your turn is next. I want you to try to use that move, Barrier, again. This time hold it like a shield in front of you and let the monster attack it. Once it does, I want you to release the Barrier and move in for a Fire Punch. Got it? A sigh echoed in my mind, but I heard a grumbling response Fine, Vince. But if we have to run from this battle, I will kill you. Understood? Contact with the genius Pokémon was ended and I rolled my eyes. Turning to Gastly, I noted that he seemed to be roaming around aimlessly. I took out his Pokeball and returned the gas ball to it. His time would be better spent inside the Pokeball, where he couldn't hurt anyone, including himself. Now I waited, but I didn't wait as I usually did, calmly and silently. I was pissed. Really pissed. I looked around for some rocks and debris that I could send flying at the monster. It was time to bring in HELL! |
