"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

Trainer Name: Sorraine Ezter
Trainer Gender: Male
Trainer Age: 18

Trainer Biography:

Darkened skies, distant rumbling from the east. Uh-oh, a thunderstorm. Sorraine Ezter, proud has-been son of the Ezters, was running along a dirt path, leading to somewhere... He doesn't even know where is he going. He's just thinking to run, run, run, further away from the thunderclouds and the rain. However, the rain caught up with him, and he was drenched from head to toe. His red coat and blue-colored jeans were soaked in no time. His golden brown hair was soon wet, but he stood at the same spot, embracing the rain. He then continued running, but slipped on the mud --- and fell, head first onto the muddy path.

Crash.

He did not make an effort to stand up and continue running for shelter. Instead, he lay there, the right side of his body now colored a dirty brown. He got up, only to walk a few meters and skid on the slippery path and fall again. Suddenly, a flash and the unmistakable sound of thunder. Then, in a split second, a lightning hit Sorraine --- right where he lay.

"That was one real stunt."
"I suppose so. Kids this days, argh... Such daredevils."

Sorraine woke up in time just to hear what he thinks were two people talking. Both were man, adults, obviously. One of them sounded VERY worried, as if they had gobbled up their kids. The other was calm and he can control his emotions very well, fit for a doctor. A doctor and my savior. But he can't move. Even breathing is agony. Every second, he felt, was torture. His limbs were numb, his pain is unbearable. He drew a long breath --- and that's all it takes for him to cry out a muffled shout. Even so, his whole body became alive with pain. He heard a gasp, then a few more. But his bodily functions are shutting down, demanding a rest... Then he blacked out again.

The pain left Sorraine, but the senseless limbs are still there. He considered himself lucky for surviving a lightning strike - a brave stunt to pull for sure. He had no idea how did he survived though. The question mark left him with a mystery to solve. But it was answered soon after; As he struggled to get up and came crashing down back to the bed, he heard a familiar voice - his savior.

"Er... Hi." Sorraine said, not knowing what else to say.

"Ah, I see you're awake. Care to explain, lucky boy, how you survive that deadly strike? Mind you, that shock still left your body senseless; You are considered lucky to live, but not to move." The man spoke, and the little color he regained minutes ago drained from his face again.

"But never you mind, young lad. See, you're lucky I stumble upon you; I'm Dr. Krippey, and I run... Let's say a hospital. Within a month, you'll be in great pain indeed, but the control of your limbs will return. What will you say, hmm?"
This time, the voice sounded less hushed and more balanced.

"Um... I think..." Sorraine started, but trailed into silence. I can move. But I'll be in 'great pain' for a whole month. Does this pay... or not? His answer came out before he considered it: "Yes."

Trainer Appearance: His hair is flat, spread out around his head in a red-and-white flourish, red in the middle, white surrounding it. The shade of red is not so dark, at least a few shades lighter than blood, while his white is well, completely white, drained of color. His face is moderately handsome, but not enough to make girls go especially go crazy about him. His face is devoid of emotion, never happy nor sad. Not even a happy-go-lucky smile. He possesses a cold stare, effectively making him a friendless person, all product of the "surgery". He wears a crimson red shirt with white stripes going vertically around the shirt and a denim blue jeans. He's not physically buff, but likewise, is a normal 18-year-old figure. His hands are not especially long, so are his legs, effectively making him a moderate person. He is thin, as if he lived on vegetables. His skin color is light beige and he wears a nifty watch that stopped functioning after the lightning strike.

Starter Town: Ayer Town

Starter Pokémon: Paras (Male, if possible?) [N/Name: Nakama]

Sample RP:

Sorraine ponders out of the window. A clear sky, but from a distance, he saw a thundercloud. It's already been two weeks since he was being "specially treated" for his miraculous survival. His decision to take on the risk of being in extreme pain for a whole month was the decision between life and death. Sighing, gaze still fixed to the thundercloud, he laid back down. The worst of the pain was already over, but there were still little after-effects. But nevertheless, Sorraine is able to move now --- the lightning affected his nervous systems so badly even his savior - known as Dr. Krippey - didn't know what to do. As he watched the thundercloud drifting nearer and nearer, he steeled himself and tried to sleep; Ever since that incident, Sorraine always had a headache, wheezing breath and his limbs go senseless every time he heard the unmistakable sound of thunder.

The weeks went by. Sorraine was ready to be out and lingering around dark streets, but Dr. Krippey stopped him. They spent an hour talking --- about how Sorraine survived. Dr. Krippey told him about Pokémon, but Sorraine had no idea what were they, nor did they really exist. After some hard time explaining, Dr. Krippey presented a Pokeball to Sorraine - It contained a male Paras. Dr. Krippey explained that when he discovered Sorraine, he saw a Paras; The same one in the Pokeball.

"And there it was, standing above something that look allegedly like a hole covered in mud. When it saw me, it dug through the hole and pulled you up. Well, you were still badly shocked by the direct lightning strike, I'm afraid. I'm telling you, I was badly shocked when I touched you... And that's all about it. I took you here, " He said to the dazed Sorraine, trying to absorb the prospects of Pokémon.

When he held his real savior in his hands, he could not be happier. Although his emotions and face were taken in return for his free movements, he was glad to be alive. He believe that God has given him another chance to live, to go out with his friend --- his only friend. After he was out and clear, he made for the port the doctor told him just a while ago, along with some cash, towards the island called Tohea, leaving behind his older memories... forever.

EDIT: Sigh... I S.U.C.K. at describing appearances. Apparently I had to describe how my friend looks like without looking at him, but I said he was wearing glasses when he wore none.

not much of a Grammar Nazi/Finder there seems to be a lot of fragments in your bio. Some of them makes sense, but not a few like this one: One a hushed, worried voice, one a calm, patient sound.

or He heard a gasp. And another. <--you could of combined those two right?

Being only 13 (Yes... =.=) I think I'm not up to it yet. But I did some minor edits so yeah... I'm still not that good with words.

Your appearance clashes with your history. In your history you explain him having red and white hair before the lightning hit but your appearance says it was brown. Fix that and add some length to your appearance, really go into detail.

Sorry, got a lil' confused there. :) But no harm done, it's kinda fixed. I added some length to my appearance now.

PS: Your avatar keeps on reminding me of Munch... =.=

[X] Can you post twice in the Referee Request topic if you haven't had an update yet?

[X] Can a Pokémon perform four moves in one turn?

The limit's three per turn, and that's only once per battle, otherwise it's two all the way, so no.

[X] Is it possible to build a city?

Yes, provided you have the budget.

[X] Are you allowed to spam the CBox?

No. *facepalm*

[X] Can you post twice in the Referee Request topic if you haven't had an update yet?

Of course not. *double facepalm*
