Attentoin members of Tohea. We have now laid down the law in regards to psychics and what they can and cannot do.

http://tohea.com/index.php?showforum=48

There are three threads you need to look at. Psychic thread #1 has a list of all the psychic types and what they are capable of. Psychic thread #2 details all the abilites and what PLvl you need to be to obtain it. Psychic thread #3 details exactly what a PLvl is, and how you can increase it.

Okay, some things to note:
-> Yes, I am aware that there is no technotherapy up in the detailed abilities list. That will be detailed with the Porygon update.
-> Yes, I am aware that Pokémon who are not psychic have access to psychic moves. I will be dealing with them shortly, too.
-> Yes, I am aware that teleportation is not on that list. It'll come later. For now, deal.

To those of you who have heard about my To-Do list and how busy I am... You now see why.

Lawl! So my Girafarig now has telepathy? Sweet! So apparently, at his current level, my Girafarig can hear the thoughts of anything around it but it doesn't know who is thinking what at what time. But since confusing/disturbing imagery doesn't come around until Psychic level 13, does that negate the effect of his Confusion attack?

On a completely related note, shouldn't we have Promos in a different forum so that REAL updates aren't overshadowed by greedy minds posting in the Promo topics?

Hmm. Now it's going to take some thinking into possibly getting a Natu...

No, he can do short-term, non-scarring bursts as in Confusion. The telepathy plvl images and mental scarring can be more permanent and possibly even lethal at extremely high levels - scare them into a heart attack, etc. Think "mind-rape" for the longer term stuff :P

No, from the little bit I've read, a Pokémon's Plvl is at least equal to its actual level with a maximum of 4 levels above that.

If everyone who has psychic pokémon go to the profile update thread, and we'll alter your porofile to inlclude your PLvl. It will look like this (so that we all do the same thing):

:drowzee
Drowzee | Male | Lvl11 - PLvl12| Max HP: ... (cba to work it out)
{}
Attacks go here
0.5 :exp

Everyone who has a psychic pokémon, their psychic levels will be EQUAL to their physical levels, with the exception to Seenter's Abra, who I think is at level 7. She'll be PLvl10, because I know you've done a lot of non-battle training with her.

And yes, I gave Chimecho a reason to be caught, other than torture puposes.

**DOUBLE POST**

Also, when a ref spawns a psychic pokémon, then it should be along the lines of:

:starmie Lvl35 PLvl40

So you know what both levels are. And psychic Pokémon have pretty much all become a lot rarer, or at least the ones like Abra and Ralts, who have the potential to single-handedly blow up Tohea.

Maybe Empathy should be added to the ralts line

and what about being able to 'talk' and translate into human/ Pokémon?

Empathy is on the ralts line. Telempathy includes empathy. And being able to talk... That's what telepathy is all about. I see thoughts as more of a universal language, personally, so they can be communicated through.

Wow...this just lowered my chances of getting an awesome Girafarig or Natu/Xatu...oh well, I guess. At least this means there will be fewer Ralts and Abra wandering around...
