This is an all-encompassing page for staff feedback so that nothing gets out of hand topic-wise and that everything can stay relatively organized. At least, that's my hope.

So, shoot. We're mature enough to take it, but constructive ideas are always helpful so that your complaints can actually be fixed. And seriously, keep it Tohea related. If you just want to whine about how Sark is a dumbass via txts, keep it the hell out of here.

I think that the staff are doing a good job now but there needs to be some, or, more staff sorting out the Profile Changes Topic. That or make Scon a G-mod as he updated it everyday.

Also Athena don't seem it be doing anything on here, I think she might need a kick up the butt or something. Anyway great job everyone else. See ya' on the fly. lol

I'll take the PCT personally. Thank you, because that is important.

I don't think that having this board open is the best idea, we had rules for the previous and they broke easily.

I don't think you should even bother a lot, it won't work that well in my opinion.

Well, the last one was just a /b/ ripoff made by a dude who couldn't tell the difference. This one isn't for anything other than feedback, and it sure as 'ell doesn't have contradictory rules - the entire purpose is to garner feedback on how the staff is doing, anonymously. So far it's already been pretty useful >_>

I've seen Munch make loads of updates, both in the staff and in general. I've seen Matt make loads of updates, both in the staff and in general. What I don't see is the significance of Sark still being an admin. I suggest we put someone in who won't cry back to his part-time job shortly after modding and someone who will be relatively productive. This is not meant as a derogatory flame, but I suggest we get productive admins installed rather than admins who do no more than spam the cbox with images of fish being pwnt.

I disagree. Sark was quite polite and quick to set up all the training for the new Pinklets, as well as quick to reply with recent questions I have sent him. Even if the productivity of a certian person isn't incredibly apparent in the form of huge updates, they can still be active behind the scenes.

It's pretty f***ed up when a staff member spams up cbox and nobody does anything, at all.

Who? I don't tend to hang out in the CBox when I've got a million-and-one things to do.

He's referring to Sark, I think.

10 Admins. You say 3-5 is enough? We all know that every singe admin on tohea has RESIGNED after a few months... every single one. Scon, Tobi, Alis, and whoever else is running atm WILL ABSOLUTELY RESIGN in a few months.

*It's like somehow running a pc on just 2 AA batteries. Sure it works, but every day you'll have to replace the batteries until eventually you run out... well you managed to run it with 2 batteries, right? So figure out how to run it with 20 batteries and get a longer life-span from each. I'm sure they'll enjoy the extra time.

Bad example? Tell that to all the dead batteries of Tohea, except Zee, who's like some rechargable shit

Admin resign for reasons other than running out of juice. Most notably, you will find it to be down to members being unappreciative, and un-co-operative, other members of staff not working, and a falling out of love with the site. I make no apologies to anyone when I say those points, either.

3 Admin is enough, if the members and lower staff do right by the Admin. That means helping out where they can, offering support, being co-operative, and trying to understand what the Admin are doing and why they do it. Ya'll should do, too, since this isn't a paid job, and yet can take much of the time and effort, sometimes even more so than that which you would be on a salary for...

Terribly sorry for necroposting, BUT this seemed like an important place...

Well, one thing I could see being streamlined really easily is the staff's role in the registration process. As is, members tend to make a ridiculous number of mistakes on their first registrations, be it grammar debacles, not including their Pokémon in the subtitle, and any number of ridiculously simple, yet somehow recurring problems. And each and every time, a profiler (or high-rated staff) must descend from their busy duties elsewhere on Tohea to point this out. A profiler really has much better things to do, so they usually can only get through 3-4 of these per day, meaning...they end up wasting so much time on the needless errors, that the entire registration process slows down. Profilers can't actually get to setting up profiles and all that, as all their time is squandered dealing with problems that pretty much ANY approved member could take care of.

So that's my gripe. My proposed solution is that we open the registration boards to more people, such as the elites (or even members as a whole, though that seems a bit much), who can come down and say: "Dude, read a single approved example, PLEASE. That's NOT how you do it!"

Profilers can focus their time one the profiles that AREN'T flaw-ridden (haven't been bumped to the top with correction), and'll only have to deal with the slightly more refined products, profiles that've gone through some sort of stupid-mistake-filter. Elites'll have a role (unless I'm mistaken, they don't have that much they can do), or if they already have one I'm unaware of, then maybe we can allow members as a whole to comment, with the imperative that it only be meaningful shiza. Basically, people could actually be freed to do their jobs instead of fixing mistakes that should not be there.
