"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

The city of Kadaraa bustled about around you in the form of its populace, the people whose lives were as run by the economic blood that flowed through Kadaraa as was the entirety of the rest of the region. If money was Tohea's blood, then Kadaraa was its heart, for this was the center of business of the small region.

As such, it was also the center of crime. A recent spike in criminal activity lately had put the police out in force, standing at random points across the city, eyes peeled and waiting for trouble. It was easy to spot them, as most of Kadaraa seemed to be populated by men with short cropped hair, sunglasses, and dark suits, each equipped with a black leather briefcase.

It was a little intimidating, such strong presence in near uniform, some armed and others not. It wasn't the warmest of welcomes, paritcularly the way people would bump into or jar you without a glance or a word of apology, as if you weren't there. But it was better than being mugged right off the bat.

The winds of change have blown you to a new world with new opportunities; would a new you follow?

I figured I should take a walk away from where I was. It seemed to risky to be out there alone, considering my age. I began to walk. Not heading for a certain destination, just walking. I didn't seem to care. I wanted to start fresh, and what better way than to travel abit. I began to get tired, my legs owning an annoying pain. I had no idea where I was. I knew to gt back I must turn around and walk back, I had only been walking straight. Though I thought I was walking straight, I remembered approaching this spot before. I knew I had gotten lost. But this is a part of life. Making mistakes and learning from them. I had to get in my head, that this could only mean good.

Eh, you were new to Kadaraa; having started walking in no particular direction, with no idea where you were, where you were going, or ANY landmarks, was a recipe for getting disaster, in the form of being very, very lost. In fact, you WERE entirely lost; though you'd thought you recognized the place, it didn't take long to realize this wasn't the same place - the building placement was a bit different, the plainclothes were gone, and luckily for you, two men in raggety clothing were approaching.

Wait, CRAP. Shady, muscular men, dressed more or less like hobos. The one on the right, easily six feet tall, was... grinning ferally, and the one on the left... well, the right side of his face was paralyzed into some kind of sick grin, with teeth exposed, and the other side matched it. Both were approaching you, and spreading out to come at you somewhat from the sides; they were maybe fifteen feet away if that, and if looks were any indication, both looked to be VERY fit.
