"I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success... such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything." - Nikola Tesla

Basic Information Pokémon Name: Sludgine (Sludge-een) Pokémon Sprite: Optional Images: ![]() Species Information Pokémon Species: Poisonous Squid Gender Ratio: Male 0% | Female 100% Weight and Height: 120 lbs | "4'0" to 6' 0" Type: Water/Poison Ability: Poisonous Ooze, Swift Swim Poisonous Ooze- Whenever an opponent tries to absorb hp from Sludgine, the opponent looses that hp and becomes poisoned. Swift Swim- When rain dance is in effect Sludgine's speed is doubled Species Description. For many years Octillery had lived in peace in only very pure water. Some Octillery were told that there was extremely pure water by factories that produced toxic sludge. After some Octillery had set out on the quest of looking for this pure water they were mutated as it was completely the opposite. However it seemed that only the female Octillery seemed to be changing. The male's had nothing change and were better than ever. After this the Sludgine could not return to their homes. They were forced to stay and live in toxic waters. Although Sludgine are ugly they are extremely loyal. They have a wide variety of water and poison attacks, which, do often come in handy. Sludginess tentacles are extremely powerfull with a vice like grip that could give a Gyrados' tail a run for its money. The suction cups on its tentacles start off extremely small and are hardly visible upon evoloution. After growing, they start to grow and become extremely lethal. Squidily are found only at the deppest of impure waters. But even then it's hard to find one because the water is so murky. They are slow on land but once they get into any water they're back to super speedy. Although it has terrible defense it has stretchy tentacles which have fair attack power. That 'sprite' would go under 'optional images' until you could get a real Pokémon sprite. But the only person I know who can is KOI and he's charging for sprites now. Now, to the name. Squidily?? Not to be harsh or anything, but it sounds like something from the '70's. Also, Lugia is the one and only Pokémon that could ever learn Aeroblast. And since you said it had to be near polluted water to turn into a Squidily, why would you use a Water Stone, the essence of pure water in the games, to evolve it? I would say you have to level it to Lvl. 40+ with Sludge Bomb. |

It still seems odd to have an evolution of Octillery. |

Honestly, I dislike it. The image is crap, the concept is contrived and crap, and the carryout is lacking. It's unremarkable, except for the horrendous image you have provided. The description is... descriptive. But unoriginal, repetitive and doesn't make sense. ...and you never explain why "only females" either. |
