I have a team that I'm using on LG, and trying to make it good enough to wipe through Colloseum once they get to level 100 (1 v 1). I need some advice on who I should add in, because two of my Pokemon are just not good enough Pokemon, regardless of moveset, to really be helpful.

So, here it is:

Starter (in battle):

Ninjask

Slash
Sword Dance
Baton pass
Defense Curl <- Need something there.

Set up man for Tyrannitar in most battles. However, Ninjask is OHKO by most PKMN, and so it is more luck that coincides with me getting my beast out. This is the first guy I want switched. My first choice is Skarmory, whose moves and such are posted further down.

Tyrannitar

Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Aerial Ace
Rock Slide

Typical DDing Tyrannitar. She pwns if I get set up of course.

Dragonite

Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Wing Attack

Thunderbeaming Dragonite... Doesn't have enough physical moves to take advantage of her huge Attack stat. Thunder Wave and Wing Attack need to go.

Blastoise

Toxic
Protect
Rapid Spin
Hydro Cannon/Return

Tank Blastoise. He is my starter so I'm partial, but he probably needs to go.

Exeggutor

Solarbeam
Sunny Day
Psychic
Leech Seed

Plan on moving this guy onto my Ruby so I can replace Leech Seed with Sleep Powder, but this guy is self explanatory. He's a nice Groudon counter too for when I get near the end of Colloseum Mode (on GCN).

Ludicolo

Toxic
Giga Drain
Protect
Rain Dance

My staller Ludicolo... This moveset works for me, but it probably could be better.

And, here is Skarmory, who I plan to replace Ninjask with:

Skarmory

Drill Peck
Spikes
Roar
Rest?

Typical Spiking Skarmory... Pwnage.

And here are alternatives for Blastoise:

Blissey (If somebody could tell me a breeding chain for Blissey I'd appreciate it, because I'd like to get Seismic Toss)

Soft Boiled
A stats curing move can;t rmember the name
Toxic
Seismic Toss?

OR

Magmar

Sunny Day
Psychic
Flamethrower
Confuse Ray

Will more likely be on my 2 v 2 team...

OR

Hariyama

Whirlwind
Belly Drum
Cross Chop
Toxic?

Just need help...

Definitely a twave/seismic toss Blissey. Best special tank there is, IIRC. I think it's...

Twave
Seismic Toss
Softboiled
Aromatherapy

Check Smogon for movesets and team help.

edit: and leftovers, obviously. Check the Smogon article for EVs, nature, blabla.

Seismic Toss has to be Tutored onto Blissey

Have you trained your Pokmeon to EVs? I recommend looking it up and hopefully you have an Emerald Verison, you can undo EVs in Emerald with Berries.

If you have Emerald, (You have Ruby, soo...) you can make Secret bases with high EV counts and terrible movesets to train you Pokemon with EVs. EX: If you want Defense EVs on your Blastoise, throw 6 Golem in your party and trade records. Each Golem should have the move Defense Curl, and everything else forgotten. Then, you can fight those Golem once a day. 6 x 3 = 18 EV points. +MachoBrace = 32. +Pokerus = 64. After a Week your Blastoise should have topped out its Defense EV.

Why would you waste an entire week when you could do it in an hour or two? It's really quite easy, especially if you can aquire pokerus, to find a common wild pokemon with a value of 1 or 2 for the required stat, then defeat them over and over. Less work, and none of this stupid "OMG WAIT A FULL WEEK!" stuff.

Or, I could just use a Gameshark and battle like level 3 Golem's in the wild. Thanks for the adivce though.

Although I don't think there is any need to undo EV's, because Lvl 100 PKMN can still get the benefit once they are placed into a PC, no?

I need help with more than just Blastoise though...

Well, once you get a (for example) Speed EV, you're stuck with it, bar the berries. If you were building a annoyer venusaur, you wouldn't need any speed EVs, so it's be a waste of what could be def or sp def EVs.

It might take a week, but perhaps 30 to 60 mintues total in that week. Saves time.

And right, read some stuff on EVs. Everything you beat gives EVs, and you can only have 512 (I think) Total and 255 total in 1 stat. But, 255 is pointless, because 252 gives you the same result.

EV training isn't the end all be all, but it does give an edge.

How can you say it "saves time" when it takes a week? Sure, the time you personally spend is halved, but I KNOW I'd rather spend an extra hour or so to have my pokemon done a week earlier, and I'm certainly not the only one.

And yeah, 512 max, 252 or 5 or whatever, blabla. It depends on what pokemon and build you're making, but adding an extra 4 into speed can, rarely, give you a tiny edge.

I honestly don't care about EV training. I need help with my team and their movesets.

Here is my new team:

Wing Attack

Her moveset still needs work.

Tyrannitar

Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Rock Slide
Aerial Ace

Standard TTar

Ludicolo

Giga Drain
Rain Dance
Protect
Toxic

Luv my annoyer.

Hariyama

Cross Chop
Belly Drum
Whirlwind
Need move here

^

Suicune

Surf
Roar
Calm Mind
Mirror Coat/Ice Beam
