Let's say you want to format your text, for ASCII art or the like. With this simple code you can do that!

Code:

[doHTML]
<pre>
--Insert text here--
</pre>
[/doHTML]

Example:

With formatting:

[doHTML]
<pre>
00000
00000
00000
00000
00000
00000
</pre>
[/doHTML]

Without formatting:

00000
00000
00000
00000
00000
00000

You could also use the doHTML function to do many other HTML things like...
[doHTML]
<marquee>Marqueeing text.</marquee>
[/doHTML]

Page break...
[doHTML]
<hr>
[/doHTML]

Insert movies...
[doHTML]
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aAP_pxMqmr4"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aAP_pxMqmr4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
[/doHTML]

Or whatever other function your twisted minds can think of. And yes, I did notice it changed the font. That is easy to fix however.
Code:

[doHTML]
<font face="Arial">Your Text Here</font>
[/doHTML]

Example:

[doHTML]
<font face="Arial">
<pre>
Wow, it works! Well, not actually, but close enough.
</pre>
</font>
[/doHTML]

I hope you all benefited from this.

To help members? What useful posts have you done? I, for one, think that this is extremely useful. I now know how to place videos inside of topics...and I was trying to figure that one out for the longest time. Thanks.

Oh.

Then shouldn't this topic be stickied?

(usually I just post links to videos. Plus it is unsafe to allow HTML in posts due to Internet Explorer's safety issues. That's my two cents.)

[doHTML]
<marquee speed=1>This is too slow.</marquee>
[/doHTML][doHTML]
<marquee speed=10>This is still very slow.</marquee>
[/doHTML][doHTML]
<marquee speed=100>This is the right speed...</marquee>
[/doHTML][doHTML]
<marquee speed=1000>This is very (too) fast!</marquee>
[/doHTML]

Yep, I like it! Only it didn't work...

[doHTML]<style> body { background: url("http://www.krahs-emag.com/images/Hylian-Desktop.jpg");background-attachment: fixed}
</style>[/doHTML]

And howzabout the background? (Don't worry, it'll only affect this page, and it's meant to be an LOZ bachground. Though if you like the army then...)

EDIT: It'd help if I remembered to put in the tags :P

All posts contain HTML anyway

[doHTML]<MARQUEE loop="-1" scrollamount="2" width="100%">Hello, this is a random post, I am here to ask random stuff.</MARQUEE>

<FORM METHOD=post ACTION="/cgi-bin/example.cgi">

<INPUT type="radio" name="option"> I have no idea yet

Am I a spambot?:<BR>
<INPUT type="checkbox" name="selection"> Yep
<INPUT type="checkbox" name="selection" CHECKED> Nope
