AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I didn't realize I was feeling this way before, but suddenly its coming out. When I joined Tohea it was slow and there was like no flaming or any major problems, probably because it was right after the reset. BUt now, I see all these problems with new members, which I dont mind because they are new, but why does everyone, especially staff, get mad at people when they make mistakes. Sure they can probably read the rules, but we could be a lot gentler. Newbs are not always noobs, and I think that everyone deserves more than a chance. Tohea makes me feel important, but it is so...so...adult for me. Once again, I am not saying we should all love each other and live in perfect harmony, but we should be able to get along better. It could just be me, but everything seems so tense right now. But then, I probably shouldnt be saying this and I hope I don't offend anyone. Sometimes I wish that things would simply stay the way they were for a month or more like they did before, but Tohea is advancing so fast now. Its hard for me to keep up. Another thing that bothers me is the fact that, as staff, I need my rping to be at least as good as everyone else, but it is so hard to compete when everyone is older than me. Whatever I do is never enough and I feel bad. All the other staff can help ewith the site and stuff, but I never do anything. That of course is my own personal problem and I am not expecting anything done about it. That goes for everything else too. Sorry if I made anyone made.

As the small reasons adding to my frusteration come to mind, I guess I'll edit this. I guess its also partly because my friends are gone. I never see Zeus or Saosei anymore, and talking to them always made me happy. Also, though it may sound vain, I miss my trio of doom and all those people who were like, "Beedrill is awesome." Yeah, vain, but I liked it.

I get snappy with rulebreakers when....

1) They continue to argue the fact that they did nothing wrong.
2) They give attitude when we try to tell them what they did wrong.
3) The rules specifically state things like no advertising your forums in anything outside of advertising board, and yet...the continue to SPAM the Cbox with links to it.

Right now, yes, Tohea is under going plenty of changes. Whether it be staff, new features, competitions, awards, plots, etc....it keeps us fresh and interesting.

Your age should never define your potential. :D

Your case is a strange one though. It's not by choice that you can't do anything, it's because your parents force such responsibilities on you that you have no time to. I wouldn't feel bad.

For one, I think it'd be best to link or point to the place where the rule is stated. Its kinda hard to argue that unless they move to number two.

For two, in situations like those, they are trying to piss people off. "Get snappy" and they are satisfied. Like everyday encounters, just dont react and be calm and they shut up.

For three, you can't seriously believe that stating rules will get bad things to stop, just like with school rules and laws. True a mess up and you are banned system works, but I think that we should just tell them they cant do it, give a link, and dont argue.

I really don't think we should be too harsh. Example? A not so pleasant conversation

Too harsh? Did you read his post? He also specifically stated that he was leaving Tohea, decided to leave with a "bang", and thus...I banned him. No sense in having him around.

I give them links all the time.

And if I get snappy, they get in even more trouble. Thus, in the end, I'm the one who is winning...not them. So, they can keep pushing our buttons to "get satisfied", but in the end...we always come out victorious.
