...about the storm that is taking over Tohea, right? Well, I decided to get a little creative and turn it into a pretty big quest for ZMV3. He was staying at the Ayer Dojo to escape the storm, and I thought it would be interesting to give a reason for the storm. So, you're all going to be battling bad weather until ZMV3 goes and battles a few Castforms and puts an end to it. Here's the post I gave him to set up a quest. Haha.

Quote:

OOC: Decided to set you up for a little quest here. It's pretty important, too, because until you complete it, the storm on Tohea is only going to get stronger. :)

The man is dressed in a strange dress type robe, technically called a Kimono, and by his side is a powerful looking Machoke. He ushers you inside, and quickly closes the door behind him.

"This is no regular storm, boy. Come with me." He says, leading you into deeper into the Dojo. You step lightly against the bamboo floors as he brings you to a large door. Pushing it open, it looks as though you stepped into another world. There's leaves and grass everywhere, but no rain. You step into the 'room', and realize that there is indeed a ceiling, but there are medium sized holes at the top which funnel the rain into a strange pipe. It seems to be a way to water all the plants in the Dojo.

"This is where we meditate, but this is not the reason I've brought you here. Step quickly, there isn't much time." He says, leading you out of the meditation area and into a small bamboo door in the right corner. You step inside, and it's a tunnel leading underground. "We don't normally bring others who aren't trained in our ways down here. Consider yourself blessed."

The tunnel gets darker as you go down, but soon torches come into view as their positioned against the rocky walls. He brings you to a barren, circular room. Upon careful examination, however, you realize that there are pictures drawn all over the walls. He points to one that resembles the appearance of a Castform Pokémon.

"This is no normal storm, as I have said. It occurs every hundred years at the same exact time. It is a ritual done by the Castform done high at the top of the mountains. For generations, Toheans were forced to put an end to the ritual or else the weather would get worse. We don't know when it stops, and how strong it can get, but it's enough to cause a lot of destruction. I am curious as to why no one has ended the ritual..." He says, looking towards you. He places his hand on your shoulder.

"My father and brother have fallen ill to a strange sickness and I must care for them. I am asking you a favor on behalf of all of Tohea...Please, help Sokuro to end the Castform's ritual.."

He points towards a boy leaning up against the wall, his face looking at the ground as he listens. By his side was, ironically, a Hariyama, the evolved form of your Makuhita. The boy looks up.

"If you accept, we leave at dawn."

Find ZMV3 and help him out I suppose. I mean, the Castform aren't only going to appear in his journey, anyone who goes to the top of Rocktomb Mts is going to see them. Remember that has a Hariyama as an ally though, if you go alone you're going to have some problems. :)

You're at the Ayer Dojo (a fighters palace).

You enter with a Makuhita.

You're trying to escape the storm.

It was just too perfect. :)

i wanted a quest but not a super duper ultra hard one where if i mess up i could get tohea destroyed kinda like groudon V kyogre
-------------------------
EDIT: also if you people want since some can't view i'll copy and post my things here for you to see
--------------------------------------------------
"I accept but first i need to rest as does my makuhita also i need to feed myself and my makuhita" i say to the boy i then let my makuhita fists out of his pokeball and i do me and him some food i left in my bag i also ask the boy if he and his Pokémon want some aswell. afterwards i ask the boy if there is a bed to sleep in.
-------------------------
The man nods, and says in a soft whisper. "Thank you." He heads up back into the tunnel leading into the Dojo. You're left with the boy.

"Put that stuff away." He says. "Come."

He starts walking up the tunnel, and you pack up your food and supplies again. He leads you back into the meditation room where he motions for you to sit down on one of the stones. When you do so, he leaves and shortly after returns with a bundle of VERY good looking food. Steak, roast beef, corn on the cob, salads, and loaves of bread. He sets it infront of you, and then starts talking as you begin to feed your Pokémon and eat.

"I've never done this before....and everyone is counting on me, well, us to get the job done. Don't screw it up." He says, crabbing a piece of corn. A massive CRACK! noise is heard as thunder booms in the distance. The rain shifting down from the tiny holes in the ceiling increases as more and more rain begins to fall. "It's getting stronger. When you're done eating, we rest for the night in the sleeping quarters. We leave before dawn."
--------------------------
i say to the boy "hey don't worry i am nervous too i meen you can't just go straight in to anything thinking it can automatically be done i even feel scared". i then take 3 corn on the cobs and some salad i give the salad and a corn on the cob to fists and i have the other 2 corn on the cobs. i also say to the boy "by the way my name is Kaze Rives and my makuhita is called fists". i then start eating as does makuhita we finish a little quicker due to the lightning blasting through the roof. afterwards i head down to the sleeping quarters and put me and fists in the bed and go to sleep.
---------------------------
You awake at the sound of cracking of another lightning bolt, this time it's much louder than the others. The dojo seems to shake as the wind speed picks up, as well. It's looks like it's night time outside, considering it's very dark, and thus you roll over and try to go back to sleep.

"Get up."

You open your eyes. That was Sokuro's voice, and thus you roll over to see what he wants.

"I said get up. It may not look like it, but the sun is technically already up. The clouds are getting thicker." He says, packing some food and empty Pokeballs into a small traveling pack. He puts it on his back, and then clips Hariyama's Pokeball (which is in minimized form) to his necklace. He points towards your stuff, telling you to get packed.

More lightning is heard, and the rain beats against the sides of the building. The man who had originaly welcomed you into the Dojo steps into the room.

"Boys, you must hurry. I've just been told that a house has collapsed on the edge of Ayer because of the wind."
-------------------------
i get up and yawn i start packing and at the same time ask sokuro how long have i been asleep for i have kept most stuff in my bag i withdraw makuhita because he does deserve some sleep i put the pokeball containing fists in my bag in an empty space that makes it look nicer afterwards i pick my bag up and swing it on to my back.
-------------------------

If you mess up, Tohea won't be destroyed . It's not a major plotline, it's just a quest. If you fail, most likely I'll have others step in to stop the ritual, but you won't get any Fame / Prizes / whatever else if you dont stop the ritual.

Well, for those that know that this is the storm that occurs every 100 years, and if it ends, then they know that someone ended their ritual. Most likely the Dojo tells people if was you, and you become more famous and get prizes and what not. :)

That's awesome, if I was a stronger trainer, as I am just starting over I would love to stop the ritual so I could possibly capture a Castform....or 2.
